The small beach which belongs to this hotel was a mix of sand/shingle wouldnt recommend it for children and the sea was extremely rough when we stayed. You can hire jet skis etc. from the beach if you want them. Around the hotel, there are a few shops some of them have closed down so there is nothing much to do to keep yourself occupied. Pafos as many shops, a nice fort to visit (E1.70), and there is a regular bus service just down the road from the hotel. It costs E1.30 to get into Pafos. Entertainment in the hotel was excellent in the day but did hear one or two complaints that there was nothing much to do at night. Although the hotel does provide evening entertainment, I didnt bother with it so cant comment on that. There is a path which takes you around the back of all the sister hotels along this road and you can see what other hotels are like. Its a nice walk and eventually leads into Pafos town. The market in the old town is a must for shoppers excellent buys on silver. The walk from the hotel to Pafos takes around 35/45 mins dependant on how quick you can walk and there are toilets on the way.

This was my first visit to Paphos and I will definitely be going back. There are so many restaurants to choose from along the harbour and around the hotel too (Rendezvous restaurant, Rosotella cafe, Crocodile bar) - Crocs do great cocktails!
There is also Bar Street for the yonger crowd.
Coral Bay beach is lovely - this is a must visit.
We also went to Tomb of the Kings and got the bus to the market, which are also must sees. A bus fair is only just over one Euro.
You can take a day trip to Nicosia, go on a sunset cruise, snorkel, visit the waterpark - this is a great island and Paphos is a great resort - I can't wait to go back!

We have been to Pafos several times and have seen the Mosaics and the Tombs of the Kings.
The resort is clean and pleasant but if yoiu want godd beaches go to Ayia Nappa or hire a car and go to Curium there is a lovley quiet beach there.

Paphos, like most resorts is great if you like restaurants and bars but apart from the tour bus(recommended),the harbour and the archeological park there is'nt much else there.

Loved it!
I went to another Mediterranean island last year and was appalled by the filth everywhere, but Pathos is perfect.
It has just the right mix of culture, nightlife, great food and a fabulous location to keep me happy.
The people were friendly and I even felt safe - as a single female - to go out alone at night.
The mosaics and area near the lighthouse were amazing - I spent hours (literally) up there and will be back asap.
Well worth a visit.
