The rooms were a good size, the furniture was basic but was well maintained and comfortable. Rooms cleaned regularly. Apart from a bit of breakfast who ever cooks when self catering. There is an excellent restaurant we did not bother trying any others for evening meal. The bar has a well kept John Smith's on draught. The staff were always pleasant and helpful, although Chris did not organise the weather very well the week we were there

The previous person who left comments must be easily pleased these apartments are basic and I would only rate them as a 2 star. The apartments have building work all around you have to cross a plank over a ditch to get on the unfinished road to get to the beach, which is not as the brochure says it is a 10 minute walk over the building work. We sunbathed in the hotel grounds with the JCB 5 meters away. The road to the beach and centre is not lit at night. You cannot get a sunlounger unless you put your towel on one at 5.30 am. For the cost of the holiday we where very disappointed. Our holiday video would be good enough for holidays from hell. First choice where useless aswell, no warning of building work, late on picking up for return flight so children travelling with first choice where seperated from parents. C abin crew with first choices air 2000 where not very helpful had to ask passengers would they please change places as cabin crew didnt bother.All in all would not book with first choice ever again.

Stayed in 2002 before the building works began. Had a really good time although being on the back road was not a problem for us some people did not fancy the short cut down the dirt track onto the main street.
The staff were all ok, the food was alright if you didn't fancy a walk, and Chris was a great host for this hotel.

We were last off the transfer coach and thought we were arriving at the back of beyond,but how wrong we were. Arrived late at night, helpful reception. Bar still open. You have just got to meet 'Chris, He is the Basil Fawlty of Cyprus ! Loves his clientele, loves his only fools and horses and Fawlty Towers videos ! If Nick is working, have the cocktails .... mmmm. Ask for a Brilliant Special ! Went up to the rooms and surprise surprise clean, tidy, no roaches at all throughout the whole holiday. Lovely balcony view.

I must say for an apartment block they had all the luxuries and ameneties of a four or five star hotel.

The room service was superb, safe, regular, friendly.

The view we had at the sunset (Room 228) was amazing.

Went to the BRILLIANT APPARTMENTS in june2000. what a lovely surprise. fantastic place to stay, food fantastic,staff brilliant and helpfull. we got married in cyprus and had our wedding day/night at the appartments. chris the bar manager and his staff made it a fantastic day for us. we were that pleased with everything that we went back the following year and are going back again this year!! the rooms are big clean and tidy.the beach is only 5 mins walk and so are the bars and resturants. all in all brilliant time was had by all.(all 50 of us)
