Location
There were the usually whingers who moan about absolutely everything, don't really know why they bother to go on holiday. There was no real entertainment in the hotel, but it had only been open for 6 weeks. Next year I think the entertainment will be better. At the moment it is not really child friendly, but I prefer this now.
We will definitely be going back to this hotel, next year if all goes to plan. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone.

in 2006 you could see the hotel needed some renovation,
i stayed there just after it re-opened end of July 2007 and what a differece from pre renovation. I have always liked this hotel but now its had a true complete facelift, what a transformation..... The rooms are very clinical and spacious, flat screen tv and even a ceiling mirror, most importantly the beds are comfortable. Coffee / tea making facilities are replenished every day or on demand, just what you need after a long day on the beach. the air conditioning units are quiet and efficient.
anybody who had stayed prior 2007 would not recognise the interior, the reception area is clean and open with a large bar area overlooking the sea, the staff are very friendly and helpful.
the beach bar has been completely changed to a brighter much airier condition and has soft comfortable settee's with shade if you want it.
The grass sun lounging area has plenty of new sunbeds and easy direct access to the beach no roads to cross, you simply walk straight on to the golden sand into the warm clear blue sea.
the hotel has the right mix of groups, couples and families, making a safe and secure area.
i could not fault this hotel and would definately go back again, i think once guest have been and gone they will also return
I would think that tsokkos will make this hotel one of their flagship resorts, flagship being a play on words as the vrissian looks like a ship
a official 4 star + hotel with a 5 star heart.
you will enjoy your stay here, i just hope that the prices do not increase.

It will be ready in June after speaking to the locals.
We had a great time in Protaras and will be returning soon hopefully to this hotel. Enjoy.

Altogether 8 people stayed over two weeks and no one could find any fault. Brilliant location food was always good we thought the entertainer was brilliant.
Always organised theme nights while we were there and everyone joined in all the staff were nice and helpful and we would all go back again if we holidayed in Protaras.

The hotel istelf was incredibly clean, the reception area lovely, rooms perfect-clean, air con, brilliant shower and the pool/pool bar and sunbed area was also lovely.
I've noticed a few reports on this hotel which sound a little off putting but we really had no complaints whatsoever.
We stayed half board as the hotel upgraded us as a goodwill gesture but we ate out every night as the resturants in Protaras are lovely.
Overall a lovely holiday and a perfect hotel.

It is classed as a 4 star hotel, but it really is not, more 3 star, and needs a face lift to be 4 star.
The rooms are comfortable and we liked the fact it had carpet, you get fed up of slipping on tiled floors so carpet was like home from home.
Everything seems to come as a cost at the hotel, if your half board you end up with a bill for your drinks with you're evening meal, you pay for your TV, mini bar etc...so you do end up spending more than you imagine.
The staff at the hotel are nice and helpful but wont bend over backwards for you, esp some of the people at the pool bar and a girl in the restaurant just gave you sour looks all the time. the cleaners are nice and really friendly and do a good job of your room.
The air conditioning in the room was a god send, and we extended the room till 6pm on our departure date for an extra cyp

The pool wasn't as clean as it should be and the hotel is definitely not a four star. We have stayed in better 3 star hotels.
The food was o.k. but choices weren't very good most nights, although they will cook children something difference such as chicken nuggets, if asked.
The main let down for this hotel was the entertainment. There was nothing for the children. They advertised saying childrens club 7 days a week. This was not true as there was one poor lass expected to do it all her self. Adult entertainment was not brill either.
The bar was too small for size of hotel and the childrens so called disco area was a joke.
There was supposed to be a childrens play area - there was one rocking horse.
Overall - disappointed with hotel.

3 star is about right.
The food was OK but it could be quite predictable.

The food was good but not the best I've ever had.
The location is second to none right on the beach and right in the centre of the resort.
Entertainment this is my second complaint night and day was bad so not very good if your AI, we found it better to go to some of the other bars at the resort at night. In the day the entertainment girl only tried with the kids she knows and got bored very easy.
I agree with all the other reviews that this hotel is not a 4 star more like a 3 star, a little run down, but the location makes up for all that.
