hotel location fab only 10mins from airport,staff all friendly and very helpful,food good and 5 places to choose from to eat,you have a private beach and are provided with towels to use on beach so saves your own there is a pool and lagoon to swim in.entertainment is provided throughout the day via volleyball belly dancing aqua aerobics and much more there is a different show on each night which are fabulous.all staff are very good especially moustafa and mohamed and sayed in restaurant2 and animation team sherif,svetlana,momo,katya,lena and maya are so good at there jobs.

travelled with six other friends and thoroughly enjoyed.Hotel quite clean but perhaps could favour a bit of refurbishment especially in the bedrooms/bathrooms. Great location. Went on a boat trip and picked up the boat literally at the hotel. Food good on the whole although have had better. Hotel staff very friendly. Entertainment staff were fantastic and made our holiday, I have visited many hotels all over the world but these were the best and friendliest not only the night entertainment but also the day activities, my first time for boules, darts aerobics and really enjoyed. Thanks Sheriff, Svetlana, Momo, and Mido we all miss you all and will definately be back next year. love Cheryl and friends

Cleaner was most helpful & pleasant nothing was too much trouble. The food was very good choices well cooked & presented well staff in restaurant were very friendly and spoke good English The Animation team was simply the best I have ever come across and I have travelled to many countries Sheris Svetlana Lena Mido & Momo were brilliant both with children & adults alike I had a wonderful holiday and my thanks go out to these guys Loved every nights show especially Sister Act!!! the best laugh - they were brilliant also much enjoy Aqua Aerobics from Sister Act Family

stayed at this hotel with my friend and was amazed by how friendly everyone is as soon as you step through the door while checking in we was given a drink which you need as its so hot outside we was shown to our room and our luggage was brought up straight away the view from our room was amazing and the room was so clean the whole hotel is cleaned everyday even down to the smallest thing the cleaners work very hard has fresh water brought to our room every morning and our room was cleaned to the highest standard everyday with fresh towels.the hotel had lots of places to eat you never went hungry the beach and pool area served fresh pizza burgers and more 12 till 5 and it tastes so good we never ate in the resturant in the afternoon we ate at the beach bar as it was so friendly you just did not wont to move also the resturants also was first class but can get busy so get there early or you will be waiting in the line outside for a table but the resturant under the pool serves the same food but is much quieter we ate there most nights then hit the pool bar where the service was first class never had a empty drink and they never forget what you drink so you order once and your set for the night beware drinks get stronger so make sure you dont fall of the bar stall like i did lol the location of the hotel was great you had the marina on your right you coukd walk there but could take you sometime as you get hassled really bad so be warned or you could get a taxi from the reception which is highly recommened or you will get ripped of big time so make sure reception ste a price for you and you have the exact money for your journey the animation team are all fantastic and speak many laungages they work very very hard to keep everyone entertained its true you feel tired watching them as they are on the go all day all night thanks to them for all the laughs and fun we had the waiters and bar staff are also first class as long as you are polite to them and say please and thank you your service will be first class we saw alot of rude tourists who where not polite and they did not get good service which i think was right as a smile and good manners costs nothing and please be aware that if you are going in july or august then it will be hot like nothing i have ever been in before and do not wear metal clips in hair while sunbathing or in the sun as mine got stuck to my skin lol and it hurt like hell lol i will be booking my holiday for next year in september so if anyone from the hotel is reading this see you all soon and miss you all loads xxx

I stayed here with my boyfriend over the new year and it was the best holiday we have ever been on. New years eve was amazing as they put on an excellent show with food going round the whole of the tent. We stayed for two weeks all inclusive and it was just the cleanest, friendliest place! The hotel staff were great and we made friends with alot of them. We are a young couple so all we were looking for is to chill out, eat food and drink! There is a little sports bar where we stayed almost every night and we never saw our glasses empty once. Im never really into my food abroad but i loved every bit of it. I enjoyed it more than my english food. If you want nightlife, this is not the place for you gbut it was everything we could have wanted and more. The weather was really hot too at that time of year and we have just booked again!

Just returned from one weeks holiday with my husband, daughter, son in law and grandson (aged 13). Hotel was very clean, food lovely good variety, staff were lovely very helpful, always smiling. Not much entertainment but we didn't expect much as when you go abroad the entertainment is never very good. We went into the lounge bar and the singer in there was quite good, very friendly and got everyone singing. Very good singer/guitarist on Thursday our last night.

Just be aware that if you are taking any children with you who are 13 - 16 years old there is not a lot to do. My grandson could not join in the water polo, volleyball and could not play pool unless my husband went and got the ball and cue as the notice said he had to be 16 or over. There is no club and entertainment arranged for this age group and considering that you have to pay full price for this age group and he only had soft drinks this all seems rather unfair.

No complaints about the hotel (could do with updating a bit) and staff in general though, they all work very hard. Would go back.

Loads of sunbeds but you have to be out there quick as we noticed towels being laid out at 06:15!!!

I've just returned from a fantastic time at the Sunrise Holiday's Hotel. We had ten days all inclusive and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The hotel didn't fail to impress us and the staff were more than happy to help and were always pleasant. The hotel was always clean and the room cleaners clean to great standard each day - making all sorts of amazing things with your towels!


There was always a wide variety of food to choose from - cake even at breakfast if you wanted! There are four restaurants to choose from - an al a' carte which you can have up to two bookings a week free then the 'Arabian Nights'where the food was more traditional to the country with the most exquisite desserts!

Aida and Sol restaurants allowed you to eat breakfast, lunch and evening meals and in Sol you can eat up until 1am. At lunchtimes the beach bar had a chef cooking fresh pizza's and bread and chips and burgers were on offer too.

The food was plentiful with so much variety of fresh fruits, breads, salads and a huge variety of meats and vegetables that everyone was catered for - including my vegetarian friend who wasn't disappointed.

The staff really made you feel welcome and the entertainment staff were so funny but didn't push you if you didn't want to join in. The private beach with a man made island connecting to it was beautiful and never seemed too busy.

The rooms had everything the brouchre describes but we did feel they could do with an update but nothing to worry too much about.

Hurgarda itself is worth an evenings visit and I definitely recommend booking a few trips through your rep - the boat trip to Giftun island is idyllic and the snorkeling around the coral reef is like swimming in an aquarium.

It's always a sign of a good holiday when you're not ready to return home!

Hotel reception area, grounds, beach and pool area are cleaned regulary.

Rooms a little tired but nothing a make over would not put right.

lovley location just outside of Hurghada with its own private lagoon and dive centre.

Food was really quite nice with plenty of choice in all four of its resterants and daytime snackbar for pizza and chips which were not extra.

Staff where mostly very helpful and friendly, problems sorted out directly and nothing was too much for them.

The animation team where brilliant putting on shows in the evening which were hillarious and plenty to join in with in the day, even if you didnt join in it was very entertaining just to watch...they did as good a job as possable and worked very hard and very long hours.

Hotel: was very clean and tidy, beach was also swept and very clean, rooms were big and also very tidy but did have cracks in wall and bathroom wasnt to good But in all fairness a really really good hotel and really like it.

Food: there was a wide selection of food everynight, im a picky eater so i ate freshly made pasta most nights. The sweets were so tasty and was also a wide selection. Everything was always so fresh especially the fruit.

Hotel location: for the the location was perfect. I loved going out side the hotel and seeing hurghada.

Hotel staff: were always plesent and very friendly. The waiters waited on you very well and met your every need. reception were always very helpful with alot of things even things like money problems and such. The pool men were very very helpful and always kept things vey tidy around you.

Entertainment: The animation team were great. ALways came to ask to join in sport and if you didnt then they would accpet that! They made joining in with sports very very fun and we always had a good laugh with them. The animation team made my holiday the best ive had and ive been on many. They were all very friendly and again helpful people and i fell in love with them all. They also did fantasic night comdy and dance shows. The professinal shows were abit boring for me But the animation team again would always make things fun and they are very nice poeple to be around.

I would visit this hotel again. It was a fantastic place the hotel was great the food was good and most of all the animation team were fantastic. So a big thanks to them.
