I stayed in the Sunrise Holidays in late February with my two teenage children on an ultra all-inclusive and you deffinetly got your moneys worth... We did not have to pay for any extras like snacks ect, and the food in all four resterants was plentifull. mornings consisted of, freshly cooked eggs, fried scrambled or omelettes to your requirment and a wide choice of other hot food. fruit with choices of yogurts fresh pastries, which where delicious and a wide variety of fresh breads, which my son loved. Lunch time was lots of fresh salad and fruit, freshly made pasta, potatoes, chips and a variety of different food from around the globe which i loved to try. Again there was fresh bread and a few sweet choices. In the evening we ate in the two resterants on level two and three, level two was our choice on most evenings and level three was more of a quiet resterant with a bit more upper class service. we loved the waiters in both but upstairs they didnt cook fresh pasta which was the childrens favourite. The choice of fresh fruit, including lovely fresh strawberries and things we had never seen befor let alone tried, and the sweets where to die for, there was never an evening where we were stuck for finding something to eat. There was also the snackbar on the beach that did lovely chips and freshly made pizzas. Down to the hotel... It was realy clean, even surrounding areas, the beach was swept and cleaned every day. The pool area and pool where also cleaned thouroghly daily, even if you accidently split a drink it was the floor was washed and cleaned almost immedietly. The pool beach and towel guys where really friendly without being too pushy. We did have a bit of confusion with our room when we first arrived, however our rep Julia did not let the subject drop untill this was rectified. Our room boy Hamza was lovely and always on the ready to meet any needs we had, on my birthday he made an amazing display on my bed, i was moved to tears. Infact my birthday was made very special by all, i had a cake in the resterant and the animation team made a real big fuss of me, making a very special birthday indeed. The animation team where wonderful and did there job to the best of there ability, aerobics and belly dancing lessons, brilliant fun and games by the pool. They always went right around the lagoon to try to get people involved but left you alone if you didnt feel like joining in. They put shows on in the evening which where sometimes hillarious but profesional dancing shows as well. i dont know how they had the energy, it used to wear me out just watching them. By the end of the holiday they all felt like family, the children cried all the way to the airport when we had to leave, for me, i felt like i was leaving part of my family behind. In full, we had an excelent holiday and made many friends who we cant wait to go back to see. the hotel is lovely and theres plenty to do both in the day and in the evening. If it was a bit too quiet them Hurghada town was only a five minute walk or a quick taxi ride away with every thing from Mcdonalds to night clubs to keep you happy. The hotel lobby is lovely and in the evening you could sit on one of the many levels with a cuppa or a cocktail watching all the different nationalities coming and going. One of my tips would also be that you do not need to take so much luggage with you as you think. There is a wonderful laundry service that we used on three occasions, your washing would come back ironed and folded or on hangers and your sock and undergaments would all be in seperate little bags. This only cost us 12 euros for two washes and the third wash was free... We fell in love with Egypt and the people and we will deffinetly be going back to the Sunrise Holidays... I feel that if you go looking for problems you will find them, but if you go to enjoy yourself then you will and you deffinetly will at the SUNRISE HOLIDAYS HOTEL...

I stayed at this hotel with my fiance for one week, in May 2006. We were all inclusive, and certainly got our money's worth! Meals were buffet style - help yourself to breakfast of pastries, cereal, cold meats, fruit - then snacks from the beach bar (between certain hours that I don't recall) - burgers, hot dogs, chips, kebabs, soft drinks, beer, cocktails... then dinner!? We went to bed with full bellies every day.

Why anyone would want to go off-site is beyond me! I have no idea how far the main town area is - I'm told within easy walking distance. I liked that the hotel seems a little bit away from the typical hustle & bustle.

The hotel was spotless, all the staff were attentive but not over-bearing.

There was in-house entertainment - 'bedouins' dancing and singing in the lobby, a disco, gym, swimming pool, lagoon, the animation team got people into sports like volleyball and water aerobics but respected your wishes if you did not want to take part.
