Try the snorkelling, brilliant, the water is so clear. I recommend the half day boat trip booked on the beach. Also go down to the pier at night time when its lit up, you can see the spectacular lion fish!!

The moment you arrive you are handed a welcome drink, and a towel to freshen up. Whilst your bags are taken to your room by the porters. On arrival the rooms are very nice and clean, the cleanliness is something else, there are also small cakes and a letter of welcome. The air con can be fierce but very welcoming in the height of summer.
The rooms are made up daily, towel sculptures on the beds or your nightwear arranged very nice touches by the chamber staff. I say staff as they are all men and do a fantastic job. My wife always wants to know why I cannot live up to their standards of housework, and I say this in testament to them they are professionals.
All the staff are joy to behold, very friendly, even the gardeners who are more than happy to tell in broken English about the plants. The gardens are kept in immaculate condition, and the croquet lawn is a testament to the skill of the gardeners, lush green grass in the height of summer.
The pool attendants, Camel and Sead, are two wonderful people who keep a smile on their face all day, passing the time with Camel and his puzzles is something everyone going should do. The towels are clean and fresh and are given out on the production of your room card.
The restaurants serve wonderful food and the Italian pizza restaurant is something else. However for those on diets don

The staff servicing the room seem to like to make amusing shapes out of the towels and the bedspreads (mainly animals etc) and on occasional days they spread flower petals around - camp but fun. Incidentally the rooms are sprayed twice a week for mosquitos, but it's worth taking some repellant of your own.
Service is good around the hotel and in the restaurant although one or two seem more interested in looking good than actually being helpful. They are in the minority however, as 99% of the staff are helpful, courteous and are willing to try their English out on you.
The dive school (Emperor) are very good too. No hard sell and a very laid back, efficient service which we found perfect for our needs. For newbies wanting to try diving or do their basic course it is a good school as the instructors (French, German and Dutch)are patient and warm and realise that it is a holiday you're on after all.

If I start with my first trip in February, I will begin with the welcome. Having had extensive delays after flying into OVDA airport in Israel (something I would never recommend to anyone!) and then of course the obligatory flat tyre in the middle of knowwhere! We arrived at the Hotel to a lovely welcome drink, and friendly staff. The restaurant had been opened specially as we were that late, and the staff were fantastic. The range of food was excellent covering both local and International quisine.
The Hotel was quiet as this was a winter trip, but the staff worked tirelessly to motivate guests, providing enthusiasm that us lazy holiday makers lacked. Flowers were placed in our room by our cheerful cleaner who made animals out of our towels.
The Shell disco was a good fun in the evenings, with the same staff, still at work, and still as determined that we would be entertained.
The staff are very attentive, they quickly learn guests names to make service more personal. Nothing was too much trouble; I dont think we opened a single door during our stay (apart from our bedrom door that is)
The Hotel has an excellent travel company, Soliman Travel, who can provide airconditioned cars to take out to Tarabin. This is the local Bedoiun Camp where you can go for an evening at the late market and bazaars and a drink as you watch the moon path over the gulf of Aquaba, Bedoiun style. This was a truely enchanting evening.
On my return trip I flew into Taba airport, which was an all round much more pleasant experience. (Although note that the airport has no duty free shops, infact has very little!)
As one of the other reviews stated, as a return guest you have a special status with the staff. We were upgraded and got flowers, towel creatures and cakes left in our room.
Once again I visited Down To Earth the Shisha Pipe cafe below the pool bar. My mother took little persuasion to try the apple flavour Shisha, although neither of us are smokers. The cinamon tea which had to accompany the pipe was excellent and this became a regular activity throughout our stay!
Mozzy spray a must in the evenings!
The grounds are beautifully landscaped and by day you see exquisite bright flowers and burgening date palms. The many hammacks are fun during the day, but come into there own in the evening when you can swing and stare up at the many starred sky. By night the place glitters with fairy lights and the peer is illuminated to reveal the Lion Fish which come out when the light are switched on.
Getting a little more brave this time we ventured outside the gates and got in a "local" cab and headed off to Tarabin. What an adventure. The driver was excellent and took us to see some of the sites. On the return trip we got a cab which you had to push to start, but once again the driver was excellent and full of fantastic stories!
The next night we had the same driver and he took us to an enchanting place called RockSea where we sat by candle light and ate fresh fish and Bedoin Bread sat on rugs and cushions sat under an amazing full moon. Well worth the little extra effort an da real treat!
So to finish, I have, and will continue to recommend this Hotel to everyone. The staff are amazing! The setting is beautiful. There are activities a plenty if you can be bothered (in summer they even get out the Banana boat!!). You know you are onto a winner when the Longwoods Reps say that the Coral Hilton is the best Hotel in Nuwieba and Taba region(and that is with 5* competition!!) Long may it continue!
Oh yes and my mother is returning with my eldest sister and her very young family in September. What more endorsement do you need!!

As i am only 10 i had no choice if we were going orb not but when we got there i thought they'd made a great choice. i found the water arobics and beach exersizes were very good. the staff were very very friendly&helpful.
The cleaner was very helpful, he made animal and all sorts with the towels. One morning i went back to the apartment whilst my parents were in the pool bar and i accidently locked myself in the bath room, luckly there is a phone in the bath room as well as the bedrooms so i phoned the reciption and they sent someone straight away.
There was very good air coditioning and they view was wonderful.
We are going back there soon.

The service there was excellent and everyone was so friendly so that by the time i had to go home i didnt want to leave all my new friends that i have made there. Infact i cant say a bad word about it. Everyday clean rooms service with a smile even on the bad days and the shell disco was out of this world. Every evening my mum and i went onto the beach and onto the peir it was absouletli beautifull there. Seeing all the bedwin people near the resort made me realise how lucky we all are. i am still in contact with all my friends there including chole who has also written a report about here and they all still txt me and email me to make me happy when im sad! This was the best ever holiday i have been on and i hate england and cant wait to get back there!

The hotel itself is quite isolated but has its own row of shops and a bank from which anything you may need can be obtained and also the usual gift shops. The hotel grounds were lovely, clean and well looked after as was the beach and pool areas. The beach was used only by the hotel guests and towels were provided daily for beach/pool use. Although the rooms were simple the beds were comfortable and the room was clean. There were also separate villas which were more spacious and better positioned for pool and beach.
We went on an All-Inclusive basis although this is not obligatory and the meals were actually quite cheap. However, I do think that the drinks were more expensive. The meals were good and there was a wide choice. The waiters were very helpful and the dining room clean.
As we went out of season the entertainment was quite low-key. Activities took part on the beach such as volleyball, darts and belly-dancing and were enjoyed by many people. There are kayaks and pedalos available for guests and the area is good for snorkelling. A family of four dolphins were regular visitors to the jetty. At this time of year there did not appear to be many children but the hotel provided a range of activities for children including a good park area on the beach.
In my opinion this hotel would not provide a good base if intent on taking in the sights of Cairo or Luxor as both these areas are some distance away, especially if only on holiday for a week as we were. There are local sights to see such as St katherins Monastery and Mt Sinai where Moses received the 10 commandments.
In conclusion, I would go to this hotel again as we had an extremely enjoyable, relaxing holiday with good service in clean surroundings.
