Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Plenty of bars , restaurants in Naama bay area , not really sure what beach is like as we went down in evenings but from what we saw it seems ok. Only problem with naama bay its like running the gauntlet more or less as soon as you step out of your taxi, with shopkeepers trying to get you into their premises this can get quite tiresome & annoying, would I visit this resort again ? if it was'nt for the poor quality food on offer at the hotel & I'm not sure what other hotel food in this area is like, but I have heard mixed reports probably yes but to be honest I don't think so.

I found the resort nice, I never felt harrassed by the locals, we really couldn't fault Sharm & are going back in December & next May.

The resort itself was ok there wasn't much there but as I said earlier we weren't bothered. We were amazed at how the driver's drove at night with no lights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We went into Namma Bay and were shocked at the heat it was bouncing off the walls and floors. The hard rock cafe was fantastic if you come here go there it's wicked. We were a little hassled in Namma Bay however a firm no thanks seemed to do the trick.
The standard of the beach was amazing it was paradise. The only thing that concerned me, when we went to snorkel off the pier, there were loads of plastic bags in the coral where people were feeding the fish. This was a shame because they are so protected out there. The snorkelling is a must it's like an underwater paradise, fish you only see in tanks iver here.
For all of you going to the CSR you will love it. If you need any answers to any questions please fell free to pm me.

Sharm is beautiful!! We didn't want to leave. By day the beaches are busy and the streets are quiet, then at night the streets are bustling! Do try the Bedouin tents, our favourite was the Ali Baba, cheap and every night entertainment was laid on. Do remember to haggle when buying goods, never pay the price they ask for!
The beach is so clean and hot! We had the choice of using the Sonesta resort beach but preferred to use the Kanabesh beach which had easy access to a reef which was surrounding by gorgeous fish.
Lots of places to eat but having 2 kids with us we used mainly TGI's and Hard Rock, but there is a nice Mexican on the main road. If you're a party goer, Hard Rock is open till 4am and Pacha is too.
The Sanai Casino is opposite the Sonesta Club and worth going in even if you are not a gambler! Missing Sharm already and only been back 2 days!!!
Can't wait to go back!

loved the c.s.r ,it is a lovely place to visit and in the two weeks we where there we never got bored .i did a snorkelling trip with the booking hut on the beach by speedboat out to the jackson reef and putting it mildly it blew my mind i have never seen such a variety of fish and water so blue and clear .
we also did the quad biking/camel riding/beduin dinner trip with lenda safari which is 200 yards along the beach to the right of the resort ,and it was superb and also cheap after a bit of negotiating .
if you want a good a/i holiday this is the place

The closest resort is Naama bay which has it's own charm if you can escape the hassle of the street vendors/restaurant touts pestering you to "have a butchers"
There's a Hard Rock cafe providing passable food & fun with the staff.
The Camel bar is a long established drinking haunt with a nice roof top area.

Didnt get out of the resort as nothing outside the hotel beach is empty so plenty of sunbeds to be had and the beach guy BOB is the one of the few that chat and are friendly.
Beach very shallow so I would say great for kids but watch the sun as very hot and easy to burn.

We have just returned from the coral. We were very impressed with the standard and cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel staff all work very hard in keeping the hotel clean, safe and an enjoyable place to be. The entertainment team, were very friendly. Always working with a smile on their faces. The hotel is situated on a lovely, peaceful beach. Again the staff work hard, keeping the beach clean. Our room was a good size and was cleaned everyday, with fresh towels and bed linen. We will be visiting the resort again in the near future! KEEP IT UP CORAL BEACH

The resort is developing and there will be shopping centers ready there soon which will make it an even better place to stay, there is execellent diving facilities in the hotel which my husband took part in twice and i did the pervous year and the snorkelling is also good in area. A bus trip in to namma bay is worth doin to as the hard rock cafe serve a lovely meal and theres some bargins to be found around the town but u must haggle or be ripped off.
