Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

The entertainment on an evening was not very good. There was one guy singing the same songs in Egyptian night after night.
Any other entertainment put on by the anitmation team was also in Egyptian so could not understand a word.
As Naama Bay is so close to the Hotel it was really good to go in town as the place was jumping on a night.

Reef Oasis has 670 rooms and I was concerned about the amount of people that would be there. I had nothing to worry about - the place seemed empty. The complex is extremely quiet and peaceful.
Entertainment Team made everyone feel welcome and could all speak English - and did.
There were people from all nations there, I could not say that one group of people were noisier than the other.
We had a two storey apartment which over looked single apartments, which were built with towers on their roof which lit up of a night (very romantic when sitting on the balcony of a night).
Sun beds were always available - even at 9am !
The beach was clean and the sea fantastic.

After my son and his mate visited Naama Bay, we decided it would be best to stay in the resort.
They got off the early hotel shuttle bus at 7pm (having been warned not to go in the daytime), to find themselves surrounded by aggressive young men trying to get them into their shops. The harrassment was constant, probably because they looked young and niave (theyre 19), and they were unable to just look in the shops. They were approached with a lot of different techniques.
They were asked questions about themselves, 'are you single?' 'do you like girls?' These questions led to being offered prostitutes (young Egyptian girls) and cannabis. At one point they were locked in a shop for a few minutes to force them to buy something. They finally escaped to a MacDonalds restaurant which they called 'the British Embassy'. Prices up on the wall, people standing behind the counter and leaving them alone.
As it got later, and more tourists arrived for the night, things got a little better, and they were able to walk twenty feet, instead of two, without being accosted by salesmen. There was nothing for sale except souveniers, they said.
We decided not to go, because having two little girls, we felt we would be held hostage - middle eastern men simply pick them up and flatter them, talk to them, and short of snatching them rudely back, we would have been at their mercy.
My son said he would never go back to Egypt because of his experience, and he's not at all shy.

Resort has a lot of building but was never disturbed by any noise at all. Found Naama Bay very clean, restaurants very good average meal in Chinese restaurant 3 course 2 drinks £6.00. Plenty of shops have to learn to haggle though or you will pay over the odds Egyptians have good sense of humour. Found a good bowling alley with pool tables. Beach is clean the fish are amazing like an aquarium only need to go knee deep to be surrounded. Plenty of excursions to do the dolphin swim was worth every penny. Night ride on camels or quad bikes through mountains to bedouin tent was good. A trip in to Old Sharm by taxi £3 was interesting cheaper goods than sharm el sheikh. Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

sharm is the mecca to divers as even snorkelling on the beach you will see most species of fish the divers do including blue spotetd rays, lion fish etc.
The bay is wonderful at night but very touristy
bargains to be had believe it or not are medical. You can buy just about anything from the chemist inc inhalers at £3 each half price from home.Belts, t shirts etc are worth haggling for and fun to do. All the shopkeepers expect it and love it so try it.
Where else can you go in late september on a 5 hour flight and have 38 degrees? Wish i could live there!

There is nothing else at the resort where the coral sea is located. You need to take the shuttle bus to Narma Bay especially in the evening. It cost £1 english pound per person each way and the cost can be added to your room bill at the end of your stay. There you can find all the bars and restaurants gift shops that you could possibly want. Its totally pedestrianised and the high numbers of tourist police make it a very safe place to be.The local beach at the resort is very shingly but you can buy slip on shoes from the small shop to the left of the hotel on the beach for £5 english. you can then walk into the sean and snorkel around the coral without hurting your feet. If you want action packed holiday, dont go here, if you want to relax and unwind, its superb

This was one of the furthest hotels from Naama Bay so you need to book the shuttle bus or get a taxi to the town. The journey takes about 30 minutes and you get dropped off at a sister hotel where it takes another 5-10 minutes to get to the main shopping area.
The beach is very clean although not golden sand and you are not able to access the sea direct from the beach, to do this you need to walk about half a mile on a wooden jetty, not really safe for children or anyone not particularly fit. The snorkelling at the end is well worth the time it takes to get to the sea.

Lots of shops, and lots of men trying to sell you things. Generally we worked on the priciple that everything was 3 times overpriced and so the art of bartering became common place to us both. Very hot and quiet during the day, much more to see and do in the evenings.
