Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Beaches

The resort was really just the hotel as there were only a couple of shops nearby.
The beach was always very clean, although the shingly sand is a bit hard on the feet.

A beautiful resort - well kept, litter free and certainly one of the nicest I have been to on my travels. Central Naama has plentiful shops bars restaurants to suit every taste and we found it have a lovely happy atmosphere even considering the recent bombing. To be recommended!!

The resort is still being built and there is active work on buildings but nothing that we ever heard or disturbed us. You had to haggle with the locals over prices and taxis are always callin gout to you if you are walking, just put your hand up and say no thanks.
The sea was gorgeous and saw laods of fish snoarkling, although it's like a beach up a cliff then you walk down some steps to a jetty. We were at the end of nama bay.

The area around the pool was spotless, with staff constantly clearing area. Water in the pool was always clean and fresh towels were available at the poolside every day.
Resort entertainment was good for the young kids, but really nothing at night, but the weather was so warm during the day, everyone was heading to bed early anyway.
The beach area was immaculate. Again fresh towels available on the beach. Water was warm and clear - snorkelling is a must!!
Cant wait until September when we are going back!!!

Naama Bay - We visited to eat. Not our cup of tea at all. We did not use the beach as we only visited at night.
We would visit Sharm el Sheilk again, the hotel was lovely, people nice, sea amazing. This would be the draw back to Egypt (along with the Pyramids etc) not Naama Bay.

sharm is lovely, and one sign we saw said it all, it said,"egypt will not be beaten, please come back," it made a lump in your throat, apart from all the shop people tring to get you into the shops, we loved naama bay,the taxis are a different matter, you take your life in your own hands, they all said, dont worry, we is called schumaker, and make sure you have the right money, as they never have change, all in all, fantastic.

Although this is a area built for tourists and not the "real" Egypt, everwhere you go is clean and well kept.
Naama Bay is the only place to go in the evening outside the Hotel complexes but it is not to be missed with it's restaurants, bars and shops. Although it was built for the tourist trade it still comes over as very Egyptian. Don't forget to barter for your goods, they expect it!.
The beaches were very clean and lovely and sandy.
We will be returning to Sharm El Sheikh.

Stayed in Nabq bay about 15 mins from naama bay by taxi. Some aircraft noise, some very loud planes but generally dont notice after a couple of days. Area has loads of building work in process does not interfere or ruin anything though, apart from maybe the view!
However at night it can be quite desolate with unfinished pavements and no street lights do not advise to walk along this road especially females. Shops are limited within hotels go to naama bay for shopping loads cheaper if able to haggle. Access to sea via jetty, difficult to climb up steps for some, also sea can be quite choppy and its very deep therefore not suitable for children, weak swimmers and amateur snorkellers go on boat trips-dont miss out, the fish are amazing.
Unfortunately not all tourists abide by the rules we regularly saw people walking out on the coral picking things up, even walking up to edge, ignoring the shouts and whistles from the lifeguards. Entertainment is purely hotel based and relaxed in this area but a taxi to naama bay is very cheap if you feel like shopping or a night out.

Our hotel was not in a resort yet as the area was up and coming, Nabq was the local area but there is not yet a Centre. I have entered scores for Naama Bay in Sharm El Shiek which was lovely and quiet in the day, a great sun trap with little wind.

Whilst the Coral Sea Hotel was clean, Egypt in general is not. Public toilets are a true nightmare, with agressive toilet attendants demanding a tip for the use of a fly-infested filth-pit. This includes the facilities at the airport. Watch out too for 'fake' First Choice reps and trolley touts there. Taxi drivers too are very assertive, and you may have to physically fight them off whilst making a mad dash for the coach.
The beach at the Coral Sea Hotel was very clean and the water clear, but the sand has a high shell content and is a little sharp underfoot.
A useful tip: Take plenty of alcohol hand-wipes with you. You'll need them.
