Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

We found the resort very nice, with plenty of restaurants and bars. Not to keen on the back streets, found the people there a bit intimidating, but overall very nice.

We were located about 20 mins taxi ride from the main Naama Bay resort. Taking a taxi ride was like taking you own life into a ride at Alton Towers, absolutely mad drivers and not for the faint hearted!
The main Naama Bay was great in comparison to the hotel resort. Boat trips to snorkel off the red sea area are a must and was the best the place had to offer really. Armed guards everywhere, and even to get into some off the restaurants you had to go through metal detectors, so pretty safe.

Excellent beaches within reach and snorkelling was amazing.

The beach was gorgeous. Almost white sand and a lovely jetty which you could walk along and spot a different fish every day. The sea had it's own coral reef which was fantastic for snorkelling. The beach itself was very clean and also relatively quiet. Well, it was November and a bit chilly (80-85 degrees) ha ha.

The resort was spotless, but the beach was not what I expected, this one hotel that Joseph will not be going to again.

We would certainly visit Sharm again but we are thinking of staying closer to Namma Bay as we like a little ore variety of an evening. The hotel was a little far away for us.
The hotel and resort is great for children, we didn't holiday with children but would.
The snorkelling here is fantastic. We went on a trip to Ras Mohammed national park (we were supposed to be going to Tiran Island but the sea was too choppy and we had to change routes). The guide, Ahmed was very good. He made sure that everybody was comfortable snorkelling and pointed out lots of different types of coral and fish. He found us Nemo!
The beach is right at the side of the hotel and has a pier which was finished as we were leaving. The snorkelling from here is good but take a walk further along the beach to the next hotel as their pier takes you further out and the chappy (Robbie) at the end of the pier was very helpful and gave us snorkelling shoes (these are a must as the coral is sharp) for free! The strange thing about the sea is that you can walk out for 200 metres before the sea level gets above waist height. Very safe for children.
We had an excellent holiday, the weather was scorching, we couldn't believe that we were in such heat in November with a nice breeze.
For anybody that is to stay at the Coral Sea, do not worry! It is a lovely hotel with great staff and the weather and views are amazing. Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions.

We didn't venture in to Naama Bay as we went purposly to chill out. There is a chemist opposite the hotel, so should you get struck down with the Egyptian tummy go over and see the pharmist. Immodium plus won't shift it but the egyptian tablets will within 2 hours. Further down the road on the right hand side is a big supermarket. Everything is priced up so you don't have to haggle and its cheaper than the town. They have got all the souvenirs that you need!!!
The beach at the HSB is lovely, although it is small, the fish are amazing. Best time to snorkel was 7.30am when there are very few people in the water. We bought a cheap mask and snorkle from the supermarket outside the hotel.
We really enjoyed this holiday, it was very relaxing.

The sea is reached by a jetty from a very small beach area to protect the coral can get a little crowded at times when everyone decides to go snorkeling at the same time. It is well worth the wait to get into the sea the sights under the water are just amazing.
The fish are some of the prettiest I have ever seen it was like swimming in a tropical fish tank just could not get enough of it.
Soon dried off the sun was very warm in mid 80s every day saw a couple of clouds one day which was quite novel !
A few shops near the hotel but just tack shops really and a supermarket film shop etc but if you wanted anything more you had to into narrma bay which is a different kettle of fish, loud vibrant busy lots of hagglers but have to be firm with them and they get the message don't give eye contact otherwise they will capture you!!!!
Had a couple of meals out there very nice and very cheap 2 courses plus 2 beers each £22 caught the hotel bus there and back didn't dare risk the taxis not road worthy and they are not insured no insurance required in Egypt.
Went on a fishing trip which was sold to us around the hotel pool by Sayed cost us £100 for the two of us and he assured my husband it was proper rod and reel game fishing but turned out to be handling caught a few tiny fish which were cooked on the boat for lunch the dinner was nice and the full day out was OK but feel as thought we were totally miss lead regarding the type of fishing and would not have done the trip if we had known.
The most amazing trip we did do was and over land trip to Cairo staying overnight in the 5 star meridian hotel which is situated at the side of the pyramids the trip was fantastic and made our holiday it was very tiring 2 days but saw so much I could go on for ever an experience I will never forget and urge you to do it.
The pyramids are awesome the Cairo museum is great two but apparently if you looked at every artifact in the museum for 30 secs it would take you 9 months to see everything so has you can imagine you have to be selective in your 2 hours there.
My first visit to Eygpt but will not be our last lovely jubbly, Asda price and better than tescos.........
