You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

The resort is spotless.
Entertainment very poor. Go into Naama Bay.
The beach is spotless and the sea and the marine life is breath taking.
You get haggled a lot by the shopkeepers but i just made out i was mad!!

Our hotel was is old Sharm which is 10 mins away from namma bay by bus. We liked staying here as its quieter than namma bay. Lots of shops and restaurants about. Very safe as there is always police driving about. If your going for the pubs and dancing then get a hotel in namma bay but for a taxi from sharm to namma bay its only about £2. In namma bay you have MacDonalds ,pizza hut, hard rock cafe etc. Both resorts are very clean. They are always out cleaning the streets.Loved Egypt and will be back again

The beach itself was huge stretching about a mile long one half the next door hotels but no barriers or anything so bags of room for everyone, plenty of sunbeds even though some were a bit dilapidated compared to the next doors hotel, but i suspect there will be a refurb soon and watch the price go up.! Plenty of amenities on the beach area, food drinks etc (non AI) except for a small beach bar, but all really friendly.

The resort was very clean. Lots of action on the streets . Lively bars and discos. The main street has seating, bars and restaurants along the entire length.Drinks and food slightly cheaper than UK but dont expect rock bottom prices.
There are lots of egyptians on the streets trying to sell their wears, dont be afraid to chat to them but beware the offer of guestbook signing. A polite, but persistant NO usually works.

We only visited NAAMI BAY to sightsee and shop. The resort is very clean, bartering with local shopkeepers is expected.
The Duty Free shop can only be used to buy cigs.within 2 days of arriving in Sharm. You don't need it cigs.are only £5 per carton in normal shops.
We will definately go to Sharm again,a VISA payment is not required if you are only visitng the SINAI peninsular, just write Sinai only on your Visa form.

We only visited the resort at night and I thought it was a mixture of Sunny Beach and Olu Deniz!
The shop keepers try and get you into their shops but we just said sorry we are going for dinner and they left us alone. We were told to say we were from Greece if asked and this worked.
There are lots of good resturants at amazing prices and we only visited Dananeer as we loved it.
There is a large modern shopping mall in the resort and we found these shops better than the smaller shops.

We visited Sharm center a couple of times via the free shuttle bus from the hotel which must be booked 24hrs in advance-and you dont always go when you want-be quick! Sharm is very nice-not much in the way of entertainment-loads of souvenir shops, restaurants-and McDonalds!-much cheaper than home too. Overall we found the local very welcoming-we did feel safe and would return.

Sharm is a great place for couples families or groups.
The people are very friendly yes they do mither you to buy there stuff but it shouldnt bother you i never expected the food to be as cheap or of such good quality and anyone worrying about security shouldnt as they are very security concsious its safer than going to Manchester shopping !
Have fun Im sure you will.

Sharks Bay is a lovely area & the snorkeling is absolutely brilliant. Just keep to the jettys and dont walk on the coral or you'll get a man blowing his whistle at you & he will call you over & tell you not to walk on the coral. They are very proud of the way they are preserving the area & it's a shme that a certain few will try to ruin it.
