Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Naama Bay is the town centre and is made up of a couple of shopping arcades, bewin bars, restaurants and shops. It is fairly large and buzzing at night, there are cleaners and security guards everywhere looking out and making sure the area is safe and clean. You get harrased a lot by people but you just need to ignore them or say No. The whole resort is like a desert with a townc entre and hotels.... hotels are spaced out and you can only see desert from your hotel, this isn't a problem though because there's everythnig you need in the hotel. The airport is very tiny and could do with expanding... the resort is up and coming and the airport is extremely poor and struggles to cope. Different type of system there whereby you go through security before check-in which in a way makes sense, this is mainly to stop you taking corals home. The main road in Sharm is called "Peace Road", however, this is extremely ironic due to the fact that cars do not have speed restrictions, insurance and there aren't any traffic lights, get my drift? a two lane road with 5 cars across... very different way of life! Overall the resort is adequate but needs a lot of work done to it if it wants to compete with the Med. The airport needs expanding and something needs to be done aboyut the people harrasing you, it is very off putting.

We only went into Nahm Bay once. Very lively, friendly place. Great for young people. Good choice of places to eat, Hard Rock is a must.

Nabaq Bay will in a few years be very full of hotels and very crowded. The number of new hotels being built is huge. Visits soon before it becomes more like Spain.

Beautiful resort, the sand is very hot so recommend beach shoes for this reason only, you are not supposed to walk on coral.

The resort of Naama bay is a lot bigger than I expected. There is so much to choose from you would need a month to try all the restaurants and bars.
You get hassled quite a lot from the people trying to entice you into their establishment but they dont get nasty so you get used to it. they always want to know where you are from and your name.
My favourites were Camel Bar (roof) very cool and chilled with large couches.
Little Buddah, great chinese with a nice bar area upstairs
Hard Rock of course!! need i say more.
Fawanes- lebanese food very cheap but music would drive you to drink!

Naama bay is a mixture of cultures, you have a very Mediterranean looking set up but with Shisha cafes and Egyptian music playing you know you are somewhere different.
In August its hot, 45c most days and 35c at night, so drink plenty of bottled water to avoid sunstroke/heat exhaustion. Plenty of good places to eat, all have been mentioned before, we found one Shisha cafe opposite KFC that served ice cold bottles of local brew for 90p a half litre, other more European looking bars prices around £1.90 per half litre.
Seven of us had a meal in Hard Rock and with drinks and cocktails, two course meal only came to £90, great value, be warned that the prices on their menus do not include taxes. Beaches and snorkelling were brilliant, sea temperatures were 28c, like swimming in an aquarium, biggest fish I saw was a Napoleon fish, must have been 5ft in length!!
Airport was ok, still need to be more efficient. Overall one of the nicest places I have been

Sharm El Shake is a lovely resort - despite the problems they have had they just get on with it - and show high spirits.
Security is brilliant so there is nothing to worry about.
Sharm centre is rather quiet during the day and very busy during the evening.
It is worth a visit - i would go seperate times for shopping and a night out.
The hard rock cafe is very lively and the food was excellent value.
The little smoking dens in the centre are worth visiting and the one directly oposite the Hard rock is recomended.
There is aslo a Pasha nightclub which was a experience but again worth a visit.
Nahma beach is very nice and the beach front is lined with restaurants and cafe's.
There are plenty of places to shop but need to bargian hard and look around alot.
All in all its a very nice place.

Entertainment in Naama bay cannot be faulted.
Arabian nights (fantasia) is worth a visit, belly dancing, shops and much more.
Some excellent restaurants - Hard rock cafe (staff dance around the tables), Mexican, Indian, Camel roof top bar.

Naama Bay has many varied restaurants and gift shops where you can spend your money cheaply. Off the main drags it is run down and dirty. I saw very little in the way of entertainment for famlies.
A couple of casinos and a smattering of discos. Two or three visits at night and you have seen it all.
The beach at our resort was clean and safe for the kids with excellent snorkelling etc.
