Hotel very clean & friendly children's play area is very good & kept all six of them entertained.
Swimming pool also good & rooms were good size.
Shuttle bus was reliable so never stood around for long.
All in all really enjoyed ourselves & would stay at this hotel again & would very much recommend to other people as it offers excellent value for money & food we thought was very reasonable & gift shop was brill for buying all our pressies

The bar area is clean, drinks very expensive, pirate ship and soft play area are great for kids and gave mums and dad peace to enjoy a drink.
Pool if a little small was good fun for kids with 2 water shots.
Would not eat evening meal in hotel, expensive for what you get. Breakfast was adequate the lay out of the self service area was not good and involved queueing for bread, then for cereal, then for drinks etc., tables not cleared fast so difficult to find somewhere to sit at busy times.
The shuttle bus provided was regular, at times very busyt but free. In summer would be a nice (20 mins) walk to Disney from hotel.
Paid less than brochure price for this hotel and would stay again but not at full price.

The staff were friendly and efficient, a couple of small problems with our room were dealt with within minutes.
The breakfast was continental self service and there was plenty of choice.
There wasnt any entertainment in the evenings apart from New Years Eve although the pool stays open late and there are good play areas for the kids.
The free shuttle buses to Disney run every 15 or 20 minutes although they can be busy, be prepared to stand!
We enjoyed this hotel very much and will definately go back.

Unfortunatley when we landed at about half 10 at night we found that the last disney bus was at half 7! after a while we managed to finally book a minibus for 140 euros ( luckily down from 240 euros!!) to take 9 of us to the hotel. it wasnt the best start to our holidays when the 3 and 7 year old were tired and hungry after hanging around airports all day.
When we finally arrived at the My explorers the staff were more than helpfull. They explained to us all about the hotel, the facilities, and the timetable for the disney bus back to the airport!!
We were totally amazed at the hotel, after checking in we went round to the seating area and saw a fantastic pirate ship to which the 7 year old had woken up and was running up and down on.
Behind it was a large soft play are and next to that was a large swimming pool with a fantastic slide. There was also a small arcade.
Next to the balcony seating are was a bar. under the grand stairs was the plantation restraunt where breakfast was served and meals.
As it was 2 members of our group birthdays we had ordered 2 surprise birthday cakes. unfortunatley there was a note left under the door of one of the persons who was recieving the cake to explain there was no sponge cake available!
However, we could only have the cakes if we had a meal which was slightly dissapointing at 18 euros per adult and 10 euros per child.
The choices were starter & main or main & dessert but the options weren't great. I ended up choosing the childs option because of the off putting food for the adults choice!
By the time we'd paid and eaten our starter the main course was cold! The cakes were fabulous however! Lights were turned down in the restaraunt as the cakes arrived with singing staff to the 11 year olds delight!
The bus to the parks arrived every 15 mins and didnt take long. On friday we managed to do the whole park as it was dead so make the most of that if you are there during the week as the weekends can be horrendous!
Staff would do everything to help (some more than others however) There is a tv in the main reception area where the 7 year old often sat whilst we nursed our drinks during happy hour ( we advise you to make the most of this as drinks are usually very expensive!) as soon as he sat there staff came over to him and put on a dvd for him.'
The hotel was clean and there were always staff cleaning it thorougly. If we ever came back to DLP we would certainly return here it was great for the kids and a realxing clean atmosphere.

The main restaurant (buffet) in the evening had a strange idea: you had to decide whether you wanted a 2 or 3 course meal then you had to get all courses at once, cover hot food with special covers to try to keep them warm and pay for everything at once!
The hotel was situated just over 5 minutes ride on the courtesy bus from the disney parks.
There was no entertainment but the heated swimming pool with slide and towel hire and the indoor kids soft play area were very good.

We had a room with a bunk room connected. It was clean and spacious and provided everything we needed. The bathroom was small, but modern and comfortable enough.
Do NOT eat in the hotel, especially the self service buffet - the food was poor quality and a total rip off. The take away pizza is nice enough though, so if you must eat there, get that - I would say a trip to Disney Village is much more worthwhile.
Breakfast was a bit of a farce. you're given a time slot which could be too early or too late in the morning, hope you get a decent time slot. Hard to find cutlery and many times we would wait ages to get a spoon or a glass etc, which is annoying when you have a day planned down to the last minute!
Pool area looked nice, unfortunately, it was closed whilst we were there for maintenance, however, I was informed of that before booking, so that was fine with me. Can honestly say though, I do not know when we would have had time to fit it in anyway!

We were 19 and 17 when we went and would especially recommend it to young couples or families.
The pool was excellent, the rooms were spotless and the food was above average. eg. cereal and toast was provided for kids as well as full English breakfast.
the only problem was the hotel was based 5 mins away from the park so we had to get a train there every day. There are bars and shops on site but no real evening entertainment.
The staff all spoke very good English and were very helpful but could be slow on departure and arrival days.
All in all this is what you would expect from a disney hotel- it is very expensive but well worth the money.

The hotel itself was amazing although with a rather strange layout which meant certain lifts only went to certain floors and as our party was now spread around the hotel there was lots of lift changing and walking to get to each others rooms. The children loved the swimming pool although we found it hard to find the time to fit a swim in. The rooms were clean and well equiped, and there is a good bar and small shop.
Now, the breakfast... It is a total bun fight and I use this term wisely. You have to try and get to the breakfast as early as possible to get a chance of finding anything to eat - they start running out of basics very quickly. Also they don't seem to have enough staff to cope with the numbers of people so the self-service area starts to look like a bomb site and the tables are not cleaned. It is also therefore quite hard to find somewhere to sit, especially if you are a largish group.
Lastly location... DLP was only a short (10 min) bus ride away and the buses went very frequently. This seemed just as good as any of the "in the magic" and was never a problem.
Overall, the staff did their best in uncertain circumstances - didn't always seem to know what they could and couldn't do. The hotel had only recently opened so I hope that more recent visits will have gone more smoothly and some of the early glitches will have been resolved.
