Do not go to the Greek night at Oasis.. Not re-commended. Hotel is slightly out of town so if you can hire a car.

Salt & Pepper at the end of the road is excellent for food. Although most of the restaurants are good.
Highly recommend English breakfast at Jimmys as that kept us going most of the day.
Do not miss the BBQ starter, main and desert absolutely delicious.

All rooms are clean and tidy. Food is great and breakfast is either full English with cereal and fruit juice, Greek breakfast or just toast and coffee. The swimming pool is large and spotless with plenty of sunbeds. Location is close to everything you need in Sidari.

Beaches

Really enjoyed my stay in Sidari and would definately go back.
Beaches were clean and plenty of sunbeds available. The main strip was full of bars and restaurants and although you had the usual people touting outside they didn't hassle you to go in.
All the places we went in to were very clean and modern and spacious and staff were very friendly. There was something for everyone-everything from karaoke to drag queens, tribute acts to quiz nights to quiet meals by the sea. The canal d'amour area was lovely, if you walked into the sea you could walk a good way before the water even reached your waist.
All meals we had were of high standard and would definately recommend the breakfasts at Fagins. B.E.D had great food and staff and a lovely view overlooking the sea-very romantic if you like that sort of thing!
Mosquitos were a huge problem-even using insect repellent, mozzie plugs and keeping the doors closed all night didn't deter them. However, this didn't put me off and I will definately be going back to Sidari sometime in the future.

The whole resort was clean even though there is still a fair bit of building work underway. All of the restaurants, bars and shops were very clean inside and out.
There was plenty of entertainment on offer from quiz nights, karaoke, films, traditional greek and night clubs.
We only went on the beach to the north of the resort which was lovely soft sand. However there are some clay deposits off shore and in the cliffs, which some people refer to as "Mud".
Do not think of this as the stinky mud you get in UK estuaries and ports, it is a grey clay, more like china clay.
We even saw some locals rubbing a small brick of clay and covering themselves with it, like a mud pack/skin cleanser.

Sidari is a one street village with a mixture of shops, tavernas and a variety of resteraunts. The Oassis resteraunt, which is run by Gregor and his family has just been voted the best in Sidari and the 3 Little Pigs run by Gregor's brother is a close runner up mainly because of the traditional Greek dancing during the evening. There are quite a few travel agents on the main street all offering a variety of day excursions, the best of which we found to be Princess Travel not far from the main crossroads on the road to Corfu.

Canal D Amour is just down the road from Sadari, and has a few bars and shops for the essentials water, newspaper, booze LOL.
The beach is very nice, and has a few bars that are on the beach, and they will come to you to get your drink/food orders. The sea here is Walm up to should height, it is like stepping into a bath, so refreshing.
Sadari is well know for its stray dogs, but they are loverly, we got to know a couple, and they are such charaters, if you visit Sadari, then please visit the roof top garden resteraunt, and buy one of their calanders for 12 Euros, as this money is spent on feeding the dogs when the resort closes, without this money the dogs would have no food and would die.
There are a few Pool Bars, where you can go all day and laze by the pool, so long as you buy a couple of drinks it is free.
The only smelly part is when you go over the bridge when heading into Sadari, but saying that it cant be that bad as the river is full of big fish's.
Car hire is cheap, we went to the place next to where you book the trips, and it was 96 Euros for 4 days, this is so cheap.
Eating out is cheap as well, we spent for 4 of us 2 adult and 2 older Kids, with 2 rounds of soft drinks and 2 bottles of red wine between 45 euro and 65 euro (cheap as chips).
Canal D Amour is a loverly place hassle free, and soooo relaxing, so if you want a resort that is ideal for adults and older kids (12 and 15) then i would recommend this no problem.

The location is quite isolated and don't believe that the nearest shop is a "five minute" walk because it's not! (Especially in the midday heat)
It's a taxi ride into town for about 5 Euros each way if you want to find any bars, clubs or restaurants.
We hired a quad bike for two to get about on which made things much better as there really isn't much to do apart from sunbathe and drink.
Would come here again though if looking for a relaxing quiet break.

As i said before, this is our 3rd year visiting Sidari.
The overall cleanliness of Sidari itself it good. The beach is also kept clean and is a great way to spend your days topping up your tan!
The entertainment in Sidari is also really good. There is something for everyone. The bars and clubs are good, aswell as the entertainment for younger kids.

The resort is excellent for all ages, the entertainment is brilliant, The fact that you can stop at any hotel and use there pools (which is good when walking back from shopping and your hot) the shops are reasonably priced, I loved it and would definitely go back

The main part of sidari is a lot cleaner than previous years, the smell at the bridge is still there but not as bad, might get worse in the better weather, but once you have crossed the bridge the smell is away. The problems with stray dogs has improved due to local ex pats collecting money to care for them and getting the dogs nuetared.
Everyone in sidari is very friendly and makes you very welcome to their country.
