Location
The whole place is geared more towards the Germans, there was at least three quarters of them in the hotel, all the food was labeled in either Greek or German and quite frankly was undescribable, all the meat used was obviously the cheaper fatty, gristly cuts.
In the ten days we were there,we had only one nights entertainment,a Greek night (when you've seen one you've seen them all).
The all inclusive drinks are very limited,so we ended up buying our own.
This is one hotel I will never visit again!

Admittedly we were apprehensive having read several negative reviews. However we were pleasantly surprised. In our opinion the food was varied and tasty and catered for all tastes...veggie options, healthy options,Greek specialities etc.
We did not see evidence of the acclaimed 'stories from hell' that we had read about! All-inc drinks are great if you are a beer and/or wine drinker. And we loved the cakes/biscuits brought out at 5pm (on the dot)! The pool was clean and big enough, with plenty of sunbeds.
Staff were mostly friendly, esp if you made the effort to be pleasant to them. Entertainment consisted of Cretan dancing (with guest participation!)once a week.
Location was good as taxis to Hersonissos or Stalis (worth going to) were about

Hotel staff were friendly and rooms were cleaned every day including fresh towels daily. The food was well prepared and although the menu was repeated over the fortnight the range of Greek specialities and other food was good enough that this made little difference to us.
Although there was no entertainment whilst we were there, music was played in the poolside bar in the evening where it was nice to sit and have a few quite drinks. We went into town a couple of nights where a lively night out was easily had.
A final word on the all inclusive local drinks and soft drinks tea and coffee were available from 11 am til 11 pm. With afternoon cakes/biscuits served every day at 5pm prompt until 6pm.
Overall a very enjoyable holiday.

Predominantly German, food was disgusting, flies over it and extreemly limited. Imagine a pregnant daughter having to eat dried bread for breakfast because the only other thing available was eggs mixed with fish (eat fish at your peril, eat fish with flies on and you are dancing with death).
They had to pay for orange squash because the only soft drinks were fizzy. You have to pay for everything but basics. You have to pay for air con, water, fridge and safe.
Entertainment was non existant (people sat around playing cards and you had to buy the cards from the hotel!). The all inclusive package is a total rip off, they survived on a 12 euro taxi ride and buying food in town in order not to be severely ill.
When you have to buy basis water needs how can that be all inclusive? We were told "5 mins walk to town" - well it's a good 30 mins. Beware, the company does not offset the remaining duration cost against the inevitable upgrade pleadings you inevitably would need to demand.
This is not a 4 star, at best its a 2 star suitable for backpackers. This hotel was sold to me on misdescription and I am so dissapointed in myself being conned and sending my wife and daughter to a sheer hell hole, they were in constant tears to me over the phone pleading for help. I kid you not, do not go to the Mediterraneo Hotel - danger, danger danger!!!!!

We had lots of fun playing table tennis (part of the all inclusive deal) as well as being provided with a gym if you had enough energy (it was so hot even at that time of year).
During the evening we spent time chatting with other guests and were provided with background music. Perhaps on a couple of evenings it would have been nice to see some traditional greek folk providing us with traditional dance and music.
Staff were helpful and we really enjoyed our time in this resort, it was a pity that we couldn't have stayed a bit longer and yes we would happily return.

We got what we had paid for and what we were promised. If we wanted a 10 star hotel we would have gone somewhere else.
Value for money is what you get there and much more. Food was great, rooms spacious with fantastic view, clean and the two girls at the reseption extremely helpful.
With the all inclusive system we spend apsolutely nothing.
Anyway its holidays relax and have fun!

Beware that none of these facilities are free and the swimming pool is in fact sea water!
As an All inclusive the food is diabolical, the meat is the lowest quality possible. One day the chef was cooking chicken remains (which was the remains of chicken after all the good bits like breast and legs had been removed). The chef was cooking the bits using a tong pulling the raw pieces out of a bucket placing them on a grill and then serving cooked bits with the same blood dripping tongs - Guaranteed food poisoning.
We were forced to eat out!
After speaking with several people staying in the hotel we agreed it was certainly not worth a 4* rating - at best 2.5*
It offered nothing in terms of evening or daytime entertainment.
Because of the hotel it was the worst holiday i have had. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

No entertainment so be prepared, otherwise your being forced to travel to town which is a good 30mins walk along dirt tracks.
I wander how things would improve if the reps stayed in the hotel
