Stayed at Oceania Beach Club for one week May-June.Had some trouble getting the twin-bedded room we'd booked, although this was shown on our accommodation slip. They insisted we had to accept a single room, but finally agreed to give us a junior suite after I agreed to pay an extra E20 daily. (After discussing this with the tour operator representative they agreed to pick-up the extra charge for us) Other than this debacle we found staff helpful and friendly.
Food palatable but not five-star as far as choice was concerned - also people doing cooking of lamb chops and eggs etc need training.Unlike many people we found service and food in Asian and Italian restaurants to be quite satisfactory. Lobby bar does not open until 5.00 - if you require a drink before then you have to go to the beach or the pool bar- to reach the pool bar you have to walk past children's paddling pool and down several steps. Of course, as usually all the loungers around the pool are taken, you then have to carry your beverage to some other destination. The regular pool is extremely slippery. If you decide to use it, take very great care on entering.
Don't be fooled by the 'seaview' supposedly available from every room. The first room we were given looked out onto another building, and the sea was only visible by standing at the edge of the balcony and peering down to the left where one could catch a glimpse of it. If you're booking tell them you want a 'sea front' room.
Most of the time only one out of the three elevators in the main building were working. Dirty glasses and empty bottles from the rooms were left on the ledge of the wall lining the corridor for days.
I'm sure thast when the hotel gets the glitches ironed out,for example trained cooks, and greater variety of foods in the dining-room, opens the lobby bar at a reasonable hour, arranges for regular transportation to and from the beach, resurfaces the pool so that entering it is safe etc. etc. it will be good. Right now it is having 'teething problems. On a positive note, the rooms are clean, well apoointed and usually made up at a reasonable hour.

We stayed at this hotel in May of this year, to our understanding it had only be open about a month or so.
The only complaint really we had was that the staff were new to there jobs and this did show! but we was on holiday and had developed the laid back approach so really it didn't affect our holiday.
We found the hotel spotless, we had a large terrace (ideal as we have an 18 month old), which had a beautiful sea view.
There were plenty of lifts so even though the hotel was spread amongst six floors it really didn't cause us any extra work. The hotel backs on to the beach (literally 2 minutes walk) which was beatiful, very peaceful and gorgeous white sands. There was also the opportunity to do various water sports.
There was a large variety of food options every night including greek salads, chicken, fish, breads, cheeses, loads of desserts. Breakfast was english and continental. The food was perfect can't fault it.
I would go back to this hotel * but * only if it was in a different location, there was just not enough to do in the area, fortuneatly we was only there a week.
