After spending an amazing two weeks holiday here i can say it was a truly unforgettable holiday. Situated right near the golden sandy beach of halkidki with a clear calm gorgeous sea.The hotel itself was very well looked after and clean. The room standards was as expected and was o.k. Each room was cleaned out very well but only a few was givin air conditioning and being given one of the best rooms in the apartments we was fortunate and had a/c .The maid service was great and they was very friendly. But what made my holiday so great was the staff they are so friendly and willing to help all the time. They were very funny and willing to make you laugh all day every day. The food was nice but being self catering i only tried it a few times but each time it was lovely.Aswell the two pools was great nice and walm and not to crowded and the sixe of them was great. The only put backs are were it is situated but this was no problem for me at all because everything near the hotel was superb the mini market and the beach was only like 5 minutes away. Also a taxi was always waiting which would take like 5 minutes to go to the towns of paliouri and hanioti which was great.Around the apartments was a lot of things to do but the entertainment was not that good. But still i nvere got bored.I have only been back for 2 weeks and im missing it so much i want to go back and im sure i would love to live there when i am older!

Firstly, the transfer was nearly 2 hours. Don't listen to anyone who tells you different! And that was without any stop offs at other hotels!
Check in was fine, the apartments were clean and spacious. Our apartment slept 4 - two beds in the bedroom and 2 pullouts in the living rooms. It also had a television. Each apartment had a balcony area and double doors (although ours didn't lock).
We originally booked a self catering holiday but within the first day or so realised it would be more sensible to go all-inclusive as it would be expensive to either eat in the restaurant/get a taxi to the next town/buy our own food from the mini-market each night.
The apartments were not well equipped for those wanting to go self catering with just a hob, toaster, fridge and a few bits of kitchen equipment. Plus the only shop within walking distance is both badly stocked and under priced.
All-inclusive is ok value for money and great for kids as there is always something for them to eat, even if its just chips! They also make an effort to provide a different menu every night. Plus you get drinks and snacks all day. However, by the end of our two week stay, we were sick of eating the same flavours every day. And we didn't get good quality drinks eg if we wanted a diet coke, we just got it out of a bottle that had been sat in the sun.
Sunday is Greek night, which means dancing and a barbeque - that's good fun.
The entertainment was poor - bingo, which promised a two week holiday as a prize but which delivered a cd!!
The two pools are fantastic - the lower one is full of families and kids, the upper one is more quiet. Both have a bar, althought the upper one is only open during peak months.
There is a kids club - the leaders were good and the kids enjoyed it during the day. However, the evening activies were less popular, especially the pizza party which involved ordering in pizza then trying to get the kids to fall asleep in front of a disney DVD!
The beach is less than 10 minutes walk away and has pedaloes, banana boat etc. Is very clean and nice to swim in.
All in all, the resort was fine, but in the middle of nowhere so not suitable if you're looking for the type of holiday where you go out every night. Great for families though.

My friend and I have just returned from Chrousso Village Hotel, and although we originally booked self catering, within a day we were fully inclusive - VALUE for money.I am now in the process of booking another holiday there. The staff were all very polite and helpful, some more than others. Our favourite place was the main pool bar. We spent many nights of fun with the staff, who are to be admired for working such long hours.
The entertainment (when available) was hilarious. This venue would do with more entertainment.
The Sunday Greek night was ok, or would have been if staff could have stopped visitors standing in front of the tables taking unnecessary photo's.
The shuttle bus was a God send. Although we had heard stories of Greek drivers - the driver of the shuttle was fine, we felt very safe.

My husband and myself spent a week at the chrousso village and although it was out in the sticks we found this to be very peaceful, this was helped by the hotel having two pools one of which was for adults only, we only ate at the restaurant twice but on both occassions the food was of a very high quality.

First arrived after 1 1/2 hr transfer in a very hot coach at 1am. Eventually got into room around 2am only to find no fans in the rooms.
The rooms are VERY basic, not very well maintained...electric sockets hanging out of the wall, and hardly any storage.
The 'village' is very rural, ignore the welcome meeting speech as Pilouri is not 10 mins walk away, more like 45 mins walk and there's hardly anything there.
Unfortunatly(or fortunatly!) we were self catering which was impossible in the room as there was only 2 small rings and no pans.
We did pay for 3 days half board instead but after the first night asked for our money back as the food was not good, the childrens meals(kebabs and chips) were cold.
We then paid for a taxi into Hanioti, approx 5-7 euros each way but there are some lovely restaurants there and shops.
Entertainment was fairly good but not every night in the outdoor theatre area.
Three of our party got ear infections which we were told was not down to the pools but we did see them being tested later in the week.
The walk to the beach takes about 20 mins through the woods and the beach is lovely but beware of the stinging jellyfish in the sea.
If you are able to get the holiday cheap (we paid
