Beaches

The resort was very clean but 2 burst waterpipes on the main road were only filled with stones and not tarmac'd. Entertainment varied to cover all needs from Greek nights to live music or just football on TV. Quiet bars and tavernas were also available. There are 7 beaches along the "main drag" and the Makris Galios (long) beach has blue flag accreditation, water sports are available at some beaches, all beaches have at least one bar/restaurant/taverna. This is certainly a resort we would visit again

The tavernas in the resort were excellent. We ate somewhere different nearly every night and were not disappointed. The beaches are georgeous.
Hiring a car is a must. The island is beautiful and the costal road is breathtaking. Can't wait to go back!

lassi is a small resort with a fair amount of bars and restaurants. drinks here we found to be expensive 3.50 for a beer and up to 6.50 for a .cocktail.ate in a few restarants . would reccomend mystic gusto, cant say we really had outstanding food in this resort, just ok.beaches are really nice here, there is around three to chose from in this resort, cost around 7euros for sunbed and brolly. If you use your credit card in the supermarkets to buy ciggis and tabbaco you will get charged 2% of the bill. you all so get charged commision for changeing money. overall we felt kafolnia was a rip off, will not be coming here agin

the resort was what one would expect from a small greek resort.there are enough bars and places to eat and the supermarkets stock everything that you could possibly need during your holiday.

I found the resort of Lassi fantastic despite me feeling aprehensive about it being purpose built. It was a fab location and central point for all the things you want to see on your visit to kefalonia. Tour companies offer very good, value for money and informative trips on clean, sir conditioned buses or boats. From Lassi you can visit Argostoli and travel via ferry to lixouri (every half hour). We hired a bike and travelled to Myrtos beach in about an hour (Tip - hire a car for longer journeys). An island tour took us to Drogorati caves, Robolla Winery, St Gerasimos monastary, Mellisini ,lake and other fab sites. The restaurants and bars at Lassi were plentiful and served mainly gorgeous food at reasonable prices. Some had entertainment and others fab views. Recommend Il Tramonte, Sto psito and Taverna Sirtaki. Exclusive bar had reasonable priced cocktails, lovely staff and very good entertainment. Toilets were spotless here too. At archeological wonder katovatres there is a beautiful and chic bar and restaurant which is ideal for watching the sunset over the water and behind Lixouri. Kefalonia is absolutely stunning. Lassi is a good base to visit everything. Tip - Read (not watch) Captain Corelli's Mandolin prior to going. It'l all make sense... Kefalonia and the novel!

Lassi is a lovely quiet resort with just enough going on to not get board. We were there for 2 weeks and ate somewhere different nearly every night. We only returned to restaurants because we liked them, not because we had run out of options. It's very family orientated so don't go there if you want discos and nightclubs. The beach is also lovely with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas reasonably priced. You can walk to Argostoli the Capital which we did, but we had a taxi back at night and it was only 6 euros. The Capital is buzzing which locals and plenty of places to eat and drink. Lots of shops too!

We were having a great time at Lassi, it is really a beautiful island, all the restaurants are really nice especially the Panorama and the Phaedra. I would definitely recommend eating at these, the food is exceptional and the staff are really friendly and cannot do enough for the customers. There is a lovely coastal walk to Agostoli which takes about 2 hours or the shorter route takes about 30mins. In Agostoli there is a ferry you can get to Lixouri really nice place and costs only 2.20 euros (20 minutes trip) It is worth the 2.20 just to watch them get all the cars/lorries/buses on the ferry. We did all the tours except for Sami by night and they were all nice trips.

Lassi is a superb resort, there are great choice of resturants, I highly reccomend Panorama as the food is yummy and has great views!
It is only a short taxi ride from Argostoli which has some beautiful resturants and shops!

typical abroad the roadsides are cluttered with litter, a few bars had greek nights, ZORBAS or OSCARS, went to zorbas, not great foob but the music and entertaiment made up for it,another nice place to eat in lassi was da veronica's, value for money and large portions. a nice place to eat in arostoli is portside, 1st class all the time.
