The hotel is a great place to be based, you can get anywhere on the island with ease. Plenty or eateries and bars to choose from and the beachs are very clean.

Wel out hotel was in the middle of Pisaldi and Kos Town..!
spent most of the time in kos town though as not alot is in pisaldi area..!
the resort was clean most of time time however a few times all rubish was seen all over roads and it was there for a few days so it was a lil bit smelly..!
rther disapointed with the resort entertainment, shenanigans was the best place to go to as thy had regualr events and also the 4 roses..awsum place..!
this town really does need a boost in family entertainment..!

Kos town is very clean, and the beaches are well looked after. There are lots of varied places to eat dependant on what you fancy. Chinese, Indian, McDonalds, Traditional greek tavernas, Kebabs, the list is endless.
Lots of drinking establishments especially down Bar Street.
Walking on the pavements is a challenge, its like an obstacle course, but as long as you watch out for cycles and moopeds and cars parked on them you should be fine.
Anyway it all part of going to a foreign country, just enjoy yourselves and you'll love it

Kos Town is small, quiet but very friendly. From here, boats go across to Turkey on a daily basis. We went over on the Tuesday which is Market Day in Bodrum using the Maria Star which charged us 20 Euros each plus 4 Euros each for the Port Tax, very well organised. This we picked up from the Harbour whereby you can also go on a three Island Cruise, Karoline seemed to be the most popular. As for Restaurants, there are too many to mention but they are literally all over the Town but here are the ones we used:- Ambrosia, Broadway Cafe, Caravan(twice), Kapilio, Mummy's Cooking and The Wolve's Nest.

We visited Kos town as an escape from Kefalos where we had been staying and were impressed by it's cosmopolitan atmosphere and the amount of tangible history that can be experienced within it's walls.
The road network into and out of the town is well planned and easy to follow and car parking is free and plentiful.
The man made harbour is imposing and bustling with local boats offering day trips across the bay to Turkey which is within sight, or to other neighbouring islands like Rhodes and Patmos. There are also fishing boats , and large liners on mediterranean cruises.
Another noticeable fact is the number of bicycles within the town - the area is very flat and it lends itself very well to cycle travel- hire shops abound and holidaymakers and locals alike can be seen cycling everywhere.
Aktikountouriotou street runs the length of the harbour and has the usual shops , bars and restaurants along it's length, we visited a lovely taverna called The Fish House up some white steps from a small square along this street- there we sampled freshly caught fishes and seafood in an Octopus Stifado and a Prawn and Chilli Saganaki which was lovely and not beyond our budget.
There are many antiquities within the town- all within walking distance - te Roman Agora, Hippocrates Tree, Loggia Mosque , Castle of the Knights , Roman House (Casa Romana)and baths and Odeon, to name but a few and all can be visited and closely examined. Eleftherias (Freedom) Square is a nice place to sit at a bar and people watch , there are also plently of not too tacky gift shops selling fake handbags and sunglasses etc. if you want souvenirs.
The beach is quite small but sandy and clean with sunbeds available. We were very impressed by Kos town's cleanliness and tidyness and it's general relaxing welcoming atmosphere and will certainly consider staying there again in preference to a resort.

The resort was clean special the kos town, there are a lot of bubs, bars, restaurant accross the resort and very near to the hotel. We did not visit any beach, because the atmosphere at the pool area in the hotel was great.

The old town itself was beautiful but very dangerous underfoot with broken kerbs and pavements.
The harbour area is stunning as is the old town. The most wonderful boat trips to other Islands are available every day for just 20 euro's and that includes a meal.
The beach is lovely but not well maintained and by the end of season it is amazing and disgusting what shows up.
Jackson's Bar offered free sunbeds, a huge saving over a 2 week period, and a waiter service second to none. What luxury to lie in the sun with the warm waves lapping around your feet and a beer or vodka and lemon available just for the wave of your arm. Absolute bliss.
There are many truly wonderful resturants to choose from but for value for money stay away from the main roads and use the back steets. Not so senic but the quality and value is superb.
As a party we would return to Kos yet again, but would definately avoid the Anastasia Apartments at all cost.
