The Espirides Beach was the best hotel we have stayed in, bearing in mind we had our two grandchildren with us aged 9yrs and 12yrs.
I had emailed them before hand to provide a birthday cake for my grandson and it was brought to our table with the evening meal.
The hotel was spotless with clean towels every single day and our cleaner very considerate, leaving a sweet on the pillow for the kids and a flower for me [little things mean a lot].
The bar waiter in the evening always kept a table at the front for us so that we had a good view of the show and boy we didn't want to miss that. The animation team gave 150%, and were very professional. My favourite being the fire show where they entered the swimming pool whilst carrying on the fire display.
The restaurant food was varied, something for everyone, it may have been a little monotonous but we all ate well.
Hotel well placed for water park and a small shopping arcade near by which had all you needed at reasonable prices.
Rhodes town was accessible by bus and boat both leaving right outside the hotel.
In my grand daughters own words ''What more could you want in a hotel'' The one thing I was really pleased about and that was that the children had proper beds [bunks] and sliding doors seperated their room from ours, great idea, also plenty of wardrobe space and really long drawers in room.
We hardly saw the kids what with the little fair, water slides, crazy golf etc.
One downside is the towels at dawn syndrome, even though my husband jogged at 7am every morning we only managed to get a sunshade and beds once round the pool in 14 days.

We Have just returned from a great two weeks holiday at the Esperides Beach. Have not got any complaints it well lived up to our expectations, even though the hotel was very large and busy our service was of a high standard.
Our room was cleaned very well everyday and fresh towels left everyday too, the restaurant staff were very helpful as were the bar staff and we even had a table reserved everynight with a good view so we could see the superb entertainment.
The animation team were great and deserve a medal for their shows they had great enthusiasm especially during the day with all the activities that were planned, my 8 year old son loved the hotel and wants to go again next year. Even my 16 year old son who was reluctant to come away with us really enjoyed himself, the food at the hotel was great.
We ventured into Faliraki a couple of nights, we did not feel threatened in anyway, lots of families were there, we got a taxi outside the hotel and it only cost 5 euros, if there was a downside at all about the hotel it was the sunbeds as I had to get up between 4-5am every morning to get a chance of any sunbeds by the pool !!
A great hotel would recommend to anyone !!

The Esperides hotel is an excellent choice for a family holiday. Although the hotel is mainly German/Swiss orinatated.
Both rooms and the hotel overall were kept spotlessly clean by the excellent maid service.
The food was varied although again catered for the German pallet.
The waiter's at Breakfast and Dinner were very polite.
The animation team were fantastic and my Daughter and her friend both left in tears after saying goodbye to Yakob, Raffa, Robbi, Irenie and the rest of the gang.
I would definitely return although earlier in the month as places like the water park had already closed.

This hotel is spotless. The rooms in the main building are newly refurbished and very nice.(TV- CNN & Sports channel only in English and fridge in room useful) They sleep 2/3. The rooms in the annex sleep 4 (twin beds and a bunk bed) These rooms are dismal and in need of refurbishment which has actually started at the moment so lets hope is done in time for next season.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The food, i felt, catered for the German/Scandinavian's (which made up the majority) The food was never very hot but we always managed to find something to eat.
The location was not a problem as the bus service was reliable, inexpensive and modern and took us to Rhodes town, Faliraki and Lindos.
The beach is quite rocky in parts and the sea/beach holds a Blue flag award. (The pebbles are a nuisance when entering the sea) There is a great range of water sports and at the end of the season the prices are reduced. This also applies to the ferry to Symi and Lindos which goes from the beach outside the hotel. This was an advantage of staying during the last week of the season and also a lot of the shops were closing down. This meant limited stocks but also some reductions to clear stock left. The disadvantages were that the water park had closed, a great disappointment to the children, the childrens play area, which included waterslides, was closed in the evenings and sunbeds were being removed from the beach outside some of the hotels making one feel that it was time we should go!
If the family accomodation in the annexes was made as nice as the main hotel rooms and the restaurant supplied hotter food and perhaps a little more variety in some areas eg. only 2 cereals to choose from at breakfast, then i would definately return at a different time in the season.
The entertainment team worked hard and there was lots on offer.

The cleanliness of the hotel is second to none. There is always a cleaner around somewhere. We even saw a cleaner cleaning the walkways outside!
The food has always been amazing. Although it does tend to get repetitive you will always find something you like. Up until a few years ago you were served by the staff and then you went to the salad bar for your side salad. You even have the facility to have your breakfast by the pool if you wish.
The location is perfect. It is near old Rhodes town and Faliraki.
The hotel staff will cater to your every need. The bar staff are especially friendly. We have had the same barman for 7 years. He always serves us well and he is yet to let us down. The staff in the dinning room are especially nice and friendly as well. They always seem to want you to eat.
Where do I begin? The animation team are just too good. Johnny and Ricky used to liven the place up. Most years we have been going we never left the hotel because the entertainment has been too good. Every year the animation team never fails to impress us.
We hope the entertainment is as half as good this year.

The Espirides Beach is a wonderful hotel for children. It is very family orientated and the animation team work extremely hard to help everyone have a good time. The children have their own bar, flumes, climbing wall, bumper cars, bouncy castle, mini golf.
The food was good but got a bit repetitive as hotel food tends to do. The dining room was extremely busy so the staff had a time of it keeping up supplies, which they did reasonably well.
There was a little square of shops and cafes about 5 minutes walk from the hotel including 2 supermarkets which sold water etc cheaper than hotel supermarket so worth the walk. Faliraki was about a 40 minute walk away but buses were about every half hour to both there and Rhodes Town. Rhodes Town well worth the squash on the bus as very historical (old town). At pier on beach outside hotel a little sea ferry also did trips to Rhodes for 5 euros per person (children free). Unfortunately the last trip was about 5.50pm. A taxi cost about 11 euros so bus definitely the cheapest form of transport at 4 euros for 2 adults and 1 child. Hotel almost right across from Waterpark which was well worth a visit. Hotel did free transfer (uphill) but easily could walk back (downhill). Waterpark 19 euros and 15 euros for children. Excellent value. We went twice we enjoyed it so much.
All staff were very friendly and hotel always being cleaned. Even toilets round pools were well kept. The animation team put on games for adults and children during the day and at night put on shows like Michael Jackson Experience, Phantom, Cats. They were all very enthusiastic and the team leader was a particularly good dancer.
I would add that Rhodes Airport at the minute is a nightmare. We were kept standing outside in the baking sun for over an hour while all luggage is put through scanners. The system is excrutiatingly slow and we had no sooner got through than our flight was being called. No time for last minute shopping at all.

The room altough quite small was really nice, VERY clean! Reception were friendly, cleaners were brilliant, very friendly, always there, (but not intrusive, if you want a lie in they come back no matter how late).
Animation team do brilliant job, hope they getting paid plenty, they really deserve it, they and the bar staff, never seemed to stop working brilliant.
People also very friendly, my 2yr old lost her pair of D&G sandals, found them the next night near the bar! ( wouldn't get that in England).
Area beautiful, plenty for everyone.
Only complaint was the food. Extremely repetative, pork, turkey or chicken, pasta, salad, ice cream, guaranteed to be out for dinner and tea. would go again but eat out as we did.

Fantastic-just booked again to go this year! All you could ever wish for in a family holiday. Fabulous location, great staff, great facilities and superb beach.
Forget you are located in faliraki with stories of drunken yobbery.....its a mile away and you won't ever know the place exists unless you want to see or experience it for yourself.
Everything you need is at this hotel or close by.
Tremendous!
