I work in the travel industry and have sent many people to the Sun Palace, all have returned with glowing reports, so I thought it was time I checked it out for myself. I travelled with my husband, two young children and my mother & Father-in-law.
We had a fantastic holiday on all accounts, the hotel was clean and the staff polite and approachable. It is probably only a 4 star by Greek standards but that is what I expected.
To those I heard complain about the food I would say this- don't go to Greece if all you want is British food stick to Blackpool. My party, even the children, enjoyed the food very much. Yes it got a bit boring, but that is par for the course on an all-inclusive holiday and is not a reflection of the standard of food provided.
The entertainment team were a joy, Giancarlo we love you, Camilla a very funny lady and sweet Flor who stole my 4 year old son, Sam's heart. We got to know them all over our fortnight there and were full of admiration for the work they put in not to mention the hours!
I would go back in a minute, my only fear is that it would not be as good, they've set the bar high. So my advice both personal and professional, is go go go I will certainly be recommending it for a very long time.
Finally a big hello to everyone we met there, maybe we will see you there same time next year!

We loved our holiday because it was spotless and the entertainment was brilliant! Especially Giancarlo who I miss very much! I am only 7 and my brother is 4 and we didn't want to come home. My mummy told me that some people said some nasty things about the animation team so I wanted to put this message on to say how wonderful they were. I hope to see all the animation team next year.
Also the food was brilliant and so was the peach tea!

Wow!!! We travelled in late October (20- 27). Didn't really know what to expect. We were immediately impressed. The weather was fab, hotel was great......
The room was spotless and had a ground floor balcony overlooking the wonderful pool (where my son James spent most of the week with his amazing friends). The food was really good with a mix variety to suit all. The hotel staff & entertainment were 'second to none '. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We travelled in a group between the ages of 18-30 and stayed at the Sun Palace hotel in Falaraki. Being a last minute deal and relatively cheap we weren't expecting a great deal, however we were wrong.
We had a fantastic time, we ended up going into Falaraki every night due to the hotels excellent location after the entertainment at the hotel had finished. Of course to make the most of the free drinks before hitting bar/club street!
The Animation team were superb could not fault them they worked extremely hard to make sure that everyone had a good time, a couple of members of our party got to see what goes on behind the scenes as we were in the cabaret show, and there is a lot of hard work that goes on to make the shows as entertaining as possible.
The only complaint that we would have would be the choice on the food especially for vegetarians. Also the soft drinks were watered down sometimes you couldn't even taste what they were meant to be, this normally happened on the outside bar during the day.
The hotel rooms were cleaned everyday and all other areas in the hotel seemed very clean, the staff are all friendly too, and make you feel welcome at all times.
All in all we would definitely return, everything was great... A definite winner with all our party.. See you next year Falaraki!!

Sun Palace hotel was absolutely fantastic there was loads to do most of the staff were extremely friendly. The entertainment was brilliant they have a mini disco for all the little ones and after for the older ones would be different sketches.

I am Sean (Mr. Falirakis son) and I had a great holiday at the Sun Palace hotel. I liked doing Water aerobics with the animation team the best, they were all really nice to me and I am only eleven years old. I am trying to get my mum and dad to take me and my little sister again next year!
The hotel is very good situated for the beach and waterpark but not for the town centre.

For an all inclusive holiday the food was excellent, plenty of choice and vareity. The drinks however were very poor. The beer was good but all spirits and soft drinks in the pool and main bars seemed to be very weak or watered down and didn't taste like they should.
The rooms are basic but clean but we did have a problem with ants but once we informed them it was sorted straight away. The staff there are really friendly and helpful.
The entertainment was great for the kids and families who wish to join in, the animation team worked hard and well together but the night shows were like Butlins abroad which meant we had to go outside the hotel for the evenings which was quite costly as drinks are expensive in the bars unless you look around for the offers. This was due to us being misinformed by our tour operator who said there wouldn't be many families there from the 25 aug onwards as they would all be returning home to start school. This was not the case and the hotel was overrun by kids in the first week. You couldn't play pool or have any peace and quiet as you had screaming kids all the time.
The pool was also overcrowded with kids and their fascination for inflatables. You couldn't get a lounger anytime after 9.30 around the pool as the families were keeping them all day for friends etc. You couldn't swim in the pool for the amount of inflatables and the constant screaming and pushing of kids in the pool. We again had to spend money on sunbeds and resort to going to the beach for the first week to escape the noise. In high season there definately are not enough loungers to cater for the full occupancy of the hotel.
As a couple, this is not the holiday for us but we would recommend it to families who like to get involved in the family activities at the hotel as all the families there seemed to enjoy it.

We stayed at the Sun Palace hotel for 2 weeks on an All Inclusive basis, and were amazed by the hotel on our first impressions.
The Location was spot on, and the cleanliness of the hotel is second to none.
We arrived late on our first day, so we ate from the snack bar, and were instantly impressed by the food. The following day, we found the meals even better, such high quality and wide variety!

We travelled to the Sun Palace as a group of 18 year olds just finished our A levels and wanting to have a relaxing but lively holiday. We found this at the Sun Palace.
The food was nice and there were different things every night but these did get repeated throughout the week which is to be expected.
The hotel was always extremly clean and tidy with the staff always polite and friendly.
The Sun Palace met all our requirements as it was relaxing during the day to sunbathe by the beautiful pool or head to the beach, but was also close enough to town to walk in for a night out.
As I went in a group with my boyfriend on the nights we didn't want to go out the hotel was lively enough to stay in but never noisy after midnight and we couldn't hear any noise from the town centre.
All in all it was the perfect holiday for us at the time and catered to all the parties needs!
I would definitely recommend it!!!

When we realised we were staying in Falaraki we were a bit anxious but when we arrivede at the hotel we couldnt of wish for anything better. The room was very spacious with a fridge, tv an controlled air conditioning. The room was cleaned everyday which made it a plesent place to retreat to.
The hotel food was great!!The choice was very wide and there was something to cater for every nationality!!
The hotel location was perfectly placed only a short stroll away from the beach and a 10 minute walk from the clubs and bars which give falaraki its name.
The hotel staff were very friendly an helpful especially the entertainment staff who worked very hard eveyday to keep everyone occupied!!
overall i enjoyed my stay at the sun palace hotel an i would defeninatly visit again.
