Faliraki primarily consists of two streets. One full of bars and one full of restaurants. Its an interesting experience to walk down town in a morning and see the bar owners cleaning up after the night before! Great beach and plenty to do but avoid it at night!
Faliraki is well situated to visit some of Rhodes historic sites...rent a car and visit Lindos and Prasonissi...its well worth it.
Don t be put off by the press stories about Faliraki and Rhodes...the island is fantastic and well worth a visit.

Kalithea is a quiet resort with a few bars a couple of tavernas and a small shopping centre. It's the sort of place to have your first/last drink of the evening, or a quick snack.
The beaches are lovely and sandy and the excursion boats call here every day, going to Lindos, Sami and a few other places.
There is a good bus service both to Rhodes Town and Faliraki. A taxi into Rhodes Town was about €6 in 2003

when we where there, not many clubs open therefore quite which for us was brilliant, lots of nice places to eat, epecially the orion restaurant the food was lovley and the owners even nicer (Maria, George and hercules). There was only one thing which ruined things a little was when on the beach the first day, my husband nearly stood on a buried used needle in the sand, thankfully he didnt, but that was the only thing. a must is GEORGES BAR really good to the kids he would put movies on for them and crisps and there was never a worry about them running around and making alot of noise. see you next year lads.
Stayed in the resort of Faliraki in Rhodes.Def the best place to stay. There was two main streets which were called Bar Street and Club street. The bars were class and they played mostly RnB but had a few dance bars. You were even allowed to dance on top of the bar!! The best bar was called Destiny. The DJ was a black guy and he played the BEST music in the town!!! We bought one drink each and got free shots and a free fish bowl(they are the best drinks). The only thing was at about 1 the bars had to turn down their music because of the new license and it looked pretty dead. The clubs opened at 12 but were slightly dearer (5 euro's a drink) Not dear but they were very crowded and warm. The best club was Bed club where the foam parties are held.It was a great night. We booked through our rep Chris for 18 euro's.Better price than the door. The foam went on for hours!! The Flinstones bar Bedrock was also class. There is a George Michael lookalike who serves you and a real Flintstones car!!! Drinks were half price til 12. Sinners was also a good club with three rooms with different types of music and a pole for any daring people!!!
During the day there were a few trips. We went shopping in Rhodes town which was great for presant for home.We also went to the water park which is a must!! It has brill slides and a lazy river and wave pool.Got a bit sunburnt !!!
Rhodes is an awesome place. The only thing that put me off was the airport coming home (crazy crazy place). Going back soon and def staying at the Dias Studio's.xx

Faliraki is Brilliant! There's loads to do, Go-karting, water sports, boat trips...the list is endless.
The night life is crazy, bars and clubs are blinding, Q Club being one of the best!
There are loads of restaurants and shops to take your fancy too.
The beach is good and very clean
I`d definitely go back to Faliraki again!

Faliraki superb for shopping, bar and restaurants. Greek people very warm and friendly.
Very clean, looked beautiful. Plenty of pools, playground for the kids, with bumper cars, bouncy castle and more. Really is enough to keep children occupied for 2 wks (took a 2yr old and a 7 yr old). plenty of sun loungers. really no comlaints what so ever. beach was fine but dont forget to wear sandals, or expect pain, (talking from experiance). Entertainment was brilliant, had the same songs on for half an hour, (brilliant for the kids to memorise the words and dance moves)then a different act each night.
