only went to beach once pebbles were a bit hard on the feet and had to get over rocks before you got in the sea.

We were a bit disappointed with Faliraki, expecting it to be livelier and busier, although to be fair, we only made it into the centre once because of my wife's broken foot. The two restaurants we used, Manolis and Charleys X were both superb, with helpful and entertaining staff. The pavements, although many were clearly new, were too rough to push a wheelchair on, so we had to use the roads. The beach looked well kept and clean, and the area surrounding the resort was full of charming villages. Sainsbury's is the No 1 supermarket for me, and th carhire company opposite were also very good.

the resort was very clean and the entertainment outside our hotel was very busy, the beach was very nice but we only went down there once because we had such a good time in the hotel and we will be going back vey soon.

We have been going to Faliraki on & off for 15 years. Why have people got such a bad opinion of this resort.? My wife & I are 60+ and in 2009 are retiring to Faliraki we love it so much

Faliraki, much has been said and written but i find it lively these days without going over the top, its full of bars, eating houses and for the young plenty of night life. you wont find a better beach its clean and about 2 miles long the locals are the tops for friendliness and service. Faliraki is also a good base and handy bus services take you into Rhodes town which is a must for any visitor to the island.

Went to Faliraki out of season so that it was quiet and we were not disappointed. It had loads to do and plenty of places still open. Beach was nice, but not as clean as it could be. Would not want to be there in the main season though. Good public transport and more mature travellers should not be put off by it's reputation.

The bus stops right outside the hotel, and is only a couple of euros to the Rhodes Town. There is a shopping plaza with shops and bars right by the hotel. The lady who sells trips has a shop in the plaza, but can be found on the beach early afternoon. she is very pleasant and not at all pushy, but they are half the price of the Thompson trips.
