We stayed in these apartments for two weeks in July. Stayed in a two bedroom apartment which was a good size for the three of us. Only fault we could find was there is no real sitting area, and rather uncomfy beds. Had an apartment in block B which was nice and quiet and had a lovely sea view. Air con was very expensive, but as we were there during a heatwave it was well worth it.
The apartments were cleaned everyday minus sunday, and the grounds were kept immaculate. Pool area, and pool bar were always clean and well maintained. The onsite shop was well stocked with both english and greek products and provided everything that was needed within the apartment.
Although we were on a self catering basis we ate at the pool bar most mornings, and found no fault with the food. The bar staff both day and night were very friendly and always happy to help.
The location of the hotel was good, the apartments have their own access to the beach, you do have to pay for the beds but if you get a bed by the pool then its easy to walk down to the beach for a dip in the sea. Also its an easy walk to the town, no more than 5 minutes from the hotel.
overall really great holiday wouldn't hesitate to return. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed in here the last 2 weeks in July 07 and I couldn't really find anything major to complain about. We arrived at approx. 6.00am and the sun had just come up - we had a quick walk around the complex and it looked just beautiful in that light and very peaceful. After a powernap we ventured to the pool bar for breakfast - very good value & a swim. The pool was very clean and pretty large for a hotel of that size. We always found the staff to be friendly and helpful at all times, with the exception of Reception. We were greeted by the grumpy night porter who was not the best advertisement but he was on night duty so I guess that explains things. The female receptionist wasn't much better though - never smiled and not overly helpful but fortunately we only needed to go to reception once so it didn't matter. The shop is very well stocked and although slightly more expensive than in town, worth it to be able to buy a lovely filled roll and wander down the beach. The beach beds cost 4Euros each but considering we spent the whole day there, I didn't mind and found it worth the money to be honest. The water on the beach is so clear I regularly just sat on a large rock with my hat on and a book in my hand and watched the fish swimming around my toes - bliss! I would agree that the aircon is a little expensive and we were there in July so had no choice really than to have it because it was scorching the 2nd week. I do understand that it probably costs a bit to maintain, but think maybe they are taking advantage of people. Again, the safe deposit was quite pricey, but I'd rather pay for peace of mind. We found the walk to and from town lovely in the evening and tried quite a few places to eat but ended up going back to Engima about 6 times as it was just so good. Fantastic food and really reasonable and my other half said that 1st Mythos in the evening at Enigma was heaven! I would highly recommend you take a trip to Lindos, either by taxi, bus or hire a car. You can't park in Lindos but there are various car parks around the outside. The little cobbled streets and shops are fabulous and there are lots of restaurants to choose from. If you are feeling adventurous, I'd also recommend Rhodes town - especially in the evening. We hired a car from a place in Pefkos town which was less than half the price of First Choice. Despite what they tell you it comes with full insurance and the cars are brand new. We took the drive up the cost and stopped at a fantastic beach near Kalithea for the day and then drove into Rhodes town at about 5.30pm for dinner and a wander and then drove home late. It is worth it just to take in the sights and sounds and people watch. Also worth a wander around the harbour to see the nice yachts. If you have a car or fancy doing a trip, prassonissi on the southern tip is fabulous to. Not much there other than beach but it's where the 2 seas meet so one coast is calm and one is perfect for windsurfing. I would say the only thing I didn't enjoy was the entertainment but that's more about my taste than anything else, I can't sing and Karaoke isn't my thing, but for families I would think it's probably fun. All in all, this was a fantastic holiday and I can't praise this hotel enough. I've stayed in lots of Greek hotels and this has to rank up there in my top 3. In fact we have just booked to go back in June 08 and can't wait.

we stayed at the Lindia Thalassa for 2 weeks self catering but ate round the pool, snacks and meals some of our party had the special english breakfeast on several occasions. The rooms were kept spotless and the towels and sheets were lovley and clean room ladies very polite, we stayed in A block B block and C block. The apartments were a 10 minute walk into the town the older ones in our party found the slight inclines a bit much but they were aged 75 and 76. The staff were brilliant anything you asked for was there straight away they couldn't do enough for us. Stavros and Kostas were great and Lolos and Eri were just the same but Lolos was the star of the holiday. The pool area was spotless every morning and always pleanty of beds. Enterainment on a night was good some out shone the rest but couldn't fault it. We will be going back in September for a week just my husband and myself for a relaxing holiday as there were 10 adults and 2 children on this holiday. The rep Michelle was very good and very attentive, big thanks to Louise the wedding co-ordinator who made my daughter's special day go without any problems. Thanks to the management for the wine and chocs for the wedding couple and the wine for my 50th birthday.

This was our second year back at Lindia Thalassa. We met up with lots of friends (12 of us in all).

Our stay was of course wonderful which made for a completely flawless holiday.

Our room was in D Block, ground floor which put us in pole position for everything.

Many thanks go to our good friends and hosts Stavros and Kostas (early shift)(Thank you, Kostas, for having tea ready for me every morning even before I ordered it. Where else is the service this good?), Lolos and Eri (late shift)(Lolos, you are "the man"), Fondos and Maria (all the time) and all the hardworking staff who made us feel part of the family again.

Thanks go to our maid, whose name we never got but who kept our room immaculate. Thanks also to our tour rep, Michelle, who took care of us all.

At least 8 of us will be returning again next year for another two weeks.

The entertainment was much improved this year but I will have to get in training for next year if Kostas gets me up dancing again at the Greek Night, which is immense fun.

I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough.

If you have young children, BE WARNED! These are not "apartments" in the normal sense in that there is no table inside to eat meals nor any seating area apart from your bed and outside on the balcony!

We booked Lindia specifically to avoid the hotel room situation where you're perched on the bed once the kids have gone to bed and we ended up with exactly that plus not even a table inside. And the balcony is very cramped for seating four people around the table unless you're on the ground floor where they are a bit bigger.

Not quite sure what you're supposed to do if you want to serve up a meal during bad weather??

If that's OK, then otherwise this is a very nice resort - not quite 4-star but still very clean, nice staff, nice pool complex.

We returned last week after spending 2 weeks at the Lindia Thalassa Apartments and it was one of the best holidays we have had.

We stayed in Block C which had a side sea view (although you couldn't see too much). Apartments were clean and spacious apart from the kitchen area which you can just about prepare a sandwich in (which is all we wanted to do). No table or seating area inside the apartment, but balcony had a round table and 4 chairs which we sat and had breakfast at. We couldn't eat lunch on the balcony as it was south facing and far too hot!! The balcony is quite small.

Plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas around the pool which was lovely. Must admit, the music could get on your nerves especially if you are there for two weeks!

Well stocked supermarket on site. Not too expensive.

We found all the staff that we spoke to very friendly.

Air conditioning was very expensive, therefore we did suffer in the August heat.

If you go down to near block A, there is a viewing/seating area which overlooks the bay. Wonderful views and ideal photo opportunity.

Probably one of the best apartments we have ever stayed in. Would love to return.

Before we booked this years holiday, I checked this website for other peoples reviews on the hotel which I had never done before.

I was so impressed that we booked it and thanks to other peoples advice, we requested block A which was supposed to be a sea view - we never thought we would get it, but we did and the view was amazing. I have to thank the other holiday makers on this website for that.

The location was excellent for the all the bars and restaurants. The pool was great, especially the swin up bar and the beach was just down a few steps near the our apartment. It was on these steps that my boyfriend asked me to marry him, so as you can imagine the setting was perfect - I said yes!

We were so impressed with these apartments, it made our holiday. Since returning home, I have raved about them.

This hotel is fantastic!!!!! I have never stayed in a place where I have not had to complain about ANYTHING!!!

The room was modern, clean, bright and spacious. The view we had was fab, overlooking the sea!

Although we were self catering we did use the pool bar cafe and the food was lovely.

The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Lolos was a bit mad!!!!

The entertainment was ok. There was a singer there called Kevin who was very good and there was karaoke a couple of nights a week. The music played at the pool was a bit naff for a while, 70s and 80s kitsch, but after some telling Now 64 was introduced and played to death!!

Definitely recommended, and I would love to return.

A brill holiday with no stresses. Thanks.
