Location
The hotel is only 2 minutes from the beach so for us this was ideal. It is a 5 minute walk to the nearest restaurants and another 10 minutes to the centre of the resort so not too bad.
We sampled the 'entertainment' on a couple of evenings (they hold various quiz nights, cross-dressing evening, Greek night, films etc) - it's fine but the music is a tad loud and echos through the hotel until midnight and beyond.
Overall a reasonable hotel and perfect for families. For teenagers there is little to do, however, and for couples who want to avoid kids then this is probably not the place for them!

Cleaners did come every day but only to empty the bins, clean sheets and towels were non-existent and the floor of the apartment needed a scrubbing brush and a bucket of bleach. We don't go on holiday to complain, moan and gripe we just spent as little time in the room and complex as possible.
Overall the Admirals were fine if you like being woken at 3, 4, and 5am by drunken guests screaming and shouting abuse at each other, and despite other reports there were lots of teenagers that seemed to group into large packs and take over the pool, subsequently banishing all the smaller children due to their foul language.
On the few days we did spend by the pool the towel brigade were there, reserving their sunbeds at 8am and not appearing until 2pm. However, warning to all you "towel" worshippers the Reps will not tolerate this and we found it very funny when one Rep scoured the whole pool area and removed towels from beds that weren't being used.
The part of Tsilivi that the Admirals are based in is the quieter end which we really enjoyed, there were enough good traditional Greek tavernas to keep us happy for the fortnight (forget about cooking and eating in the apartment) and 2 mins around the corner are the beaches where we spent most of our time.
We booked a boat trip around the island through one of the tour agencies (didn't use TC, 75 Euros) on the "Fastboat" and it only cost 50 Euros for 2 adults and 2 children, the day was fantastic and as well as having a couple of swim stops and turtle spotting we also got to spend some time on smugglers cove beach. Overall good day out.
We loved Zante (correctly called by everyone on the island "Zakynthos") but we definitely won't be going back to the Admirals again.

There was a little kiddies pool where our two year old tried to play, but it was soon taken over by big children using the railings along the pool as the net for water volleyball. Our two year old does not like being splashed so he had to come out, which was very unfair. There is a small playground in the top corner of the grounds which was well kept apart from cat poo in the sand.
The staff, most of whom are English, are very friendly, they show films in the main bar. The snack bar has a wide choice of snacks reasonably priced.
On the whole we had a good holiday. The resort is lovely, but the pavements are not buggy friendly. Probably though, the worst apartment we have stayed in yet, But it certainly did not ruin our holiday.

My partner and I like self catering so that we can eat out every night.
The location of the hotel was excellent, no noise at night and the cleaning staff were very unobtrusive.
The catering staff and the entertainment staff work their socks off to keep us holidaymakers happy!
Yes I would visit this hotel again.

The entertaiment staff were a full credit to the hotel and kept the children and adults fully entertained throughout our stay!

There was no respect for guests and the noise went on until the early hours of the morning with kids running around the hotel complex and getting drunk.
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and it completely ruined my holiday and has put me off ever going back to Greece.

We had never done self catering before because we had always enjoyed the security of All Inclusive.
When we arrived the room was very clean and beautifully presented. The check in was quick and the staff efficient and friendly.
The room was very basically equiped but we didn't intend to eat there much anyway.
What was very evident from day one was that the cleaning staff were constantly on duty, but not obviously, not only were the rooms cleaned regularly but all the pool areas were also very clean, when we checked out at 02.00hrs the cleaning staff were still hard at it!!
All the staff were friendy and approachable, the hotel is run efficently.
We only spent one evening in the hotel, it was a Greek night, the food was very good but the entertainment was not our cup of tea, however the other guests appeared to be enjoying it immensley!
We were very comfortable at the Admirals and would love to return.

The room were cleaned daily by very pleasant and friendly staff. The reception area was clean but the decor and furniture showing just how busy the hotel is.
The pool bar served wide range of snacks (cooked breakfast, baked potaoes, salads, burgers, pizzas etc).
The hotel was only a couple of minutes from the beach but we tending to go round to Tsilivi beach as we found that one nicer to swim in. That was just 5-10 minutes away - nice walk.
The staff at the pool bar were nice, reception staff smiled and carried out whatever you asked but hard to get into conversation with them. The bar staff were the life and soul of the hotel. They were also the entertainment team. Apart from the entertainment that they provided for those that sat in the bar with them playing Name That Tune, Bingo etc, the entertainment was a bit sparse. There was waterpolo in a pool that was too shallow and too small and football (that was the activities on offer) disapointed. We had one Greek night (BBQ followed by Greek dancers)and that was the only live entertainment. They showed films every night (which usually had problems because they were pirate copies and not very good.
The hotel had good points and bad points. The selfcatering facilities didn't really bother me because we had the intention to eat out anyway.
The entertainment was however a big let down, the brochure said regular evening entertainment which turned out to be name that tune, bingo and quizes.
I think i would stay at the hotel just for its location, few minutes from the beach and just far enough away from the club and bars not to be kept awake at night but close enough to be within walking distance.
