The hotel was clean and had a nice pool area, although a bit noisy for my taste.
The rooms were basic but clean and were perfectly acceptable for our stay. We didn't eat in the hotel during our stay, although the facility was there if you wanted it. Other guests said the food was generally ok but had the occational bad meal. We felt there were better and cheaper outlets elsewhere.
The hotel staff were friendly and always chatty. My main complaint was that the childrens entertainment did not include our daughter at all. She is only 3 so I do appreciate that she is too young to be included in many of the day time activities. However in the evening they did a childrens disco and she wanted to join in and she seemed to be looked upon as an inconvenience. The children in the hotel bar were not being supervised at all and were running around knocking each other over, fighting and it seemed to me only a matter of time before a child hurt themselves. My daughter was shoved out the way on a number of occations so we gave up and went for a drink else where.
The music in the bar was also so loud you couldn't even hold a conversation.

My family and i stayed at the tsilivi admirals in october 2003, and must be honest in saying that we had such a great time there, that we have booked to go back there again on the 9th of september this year.
Last year we booked 2 rooms, which were situated on the ground floor overlooking the pool, which was great for us because we have 2 young children aged 6 and 8. The other room was occupied by my 18 year old daughter and her friend, who also had a wonderful time at the admirals. The rooms were very clean and spacious, as was the bathroom, with plenty of hot water. The maids came in every day and always left clean towels and put clean sheets on the beds. The patio was very spacious too, with nice chairs and tables to sit around and have a nice relaxing drink after we had participated in the family entertainment in the longe bar and finally put the kids to bed.
The entertainments staff were really good with the kids. We had regular bingo sessions and quiz nights - BUT BEWARE OF BEING THERE AT THE SAME TIME AS MY HUSBAND, AS EVERYTIME THERE WAS A QUIZ, WE WON IT!!. The prizes were not bad either, usually consisting of a voucher for free drinks. It got that way that we ended up making lots of friends because once it became apparant that we were winning the quizes on a regular basis, everybody wanted to join our team.
Lastly, but surely not least - the chef ''Nicos'', his food was absolutely spot on and he always went out of his way to make everybody feel welcome. He sold various snacks, cooked english brekkies, chips, salads, and huge baps which were all deliciously mouthwatering. His weekly barbeque's are also not to be missed. Plenty of food for everybody with seconds and thirds served up too. It was well worth the 24 euro's that we paid to feed all 6 of us.
The pool area was always kept nice and clean and there were plenty of lilo's and inflatables for the kids to play with. There were plenty of sunbeds too and also plenty of tables and chairs around the pool bar.
This september will be our 4th time in Tsilivi, and our 2nd time at the admirals. We have chosen to stay at the admirals again because our kids were entertained all the time. There was always something going on for them - childrens club for 2 sessions each day, mini disco, musical chairs, pool tables etc. I wouldn't say that the admirals is a place for middle aged or elderly couples, as it is very much catered to the needs of families with children. In all honesty though, even though loud music could be heard in the lounge area of the hotel, we never experienced any noise when we went to bed. Overall it was a lovely place to stay.

We stayed in this hotel in the last few weeks of the season so it was quite quiet.
The hotel and rooms were kept spotless, the food and beer were excellent.
The entertainment even for this late in the season was good.
The beach was just a few minutes walk away and so was a few restaurants. It was a good walk into the town centre, but worth it.
