These apartments have been renamed as Sereia Da Oura Apartments.
I thought these apartments were excellent especially for young children with the small pool. The spacious apartments were very clean & the staff friendly. I wouldn't recommend them to fanilies with older children or 18-30 parties.
I couldn't find any reviews on Seriea Da Oura Apts before we left & I believ this must be down to the name change howver I problay wouldn't have booked if I read the review about the mugging. Hand on heart we never experienced any kind of unpleasentness or felt under threat at any time.

The apartments were very clean and spacious. Pity about where they are located. We were mugged at knifepoint outside our apartment door!!!!!!!!! This was reported to the police and we spent two hours the following day at the police station but we have not heard anything since. We had taken a taxi home from the old town after dinner and could not have been more careful about our safety. ANYONE CAN ACCESS THE STAIRWAY TO THESE APARTMENTS FROM THE MAIN STREET. BEWARE!!!!!!!!PLEASE. Apparantly this is the most likely road in albufeira to be mugged and the receptionist told us the next day that there were "muggings" all summer.. I would not visit these apartments again due to the location with regard to "muggings, thefts etc". This happened on October 23 2003.
