These apartments were very nice and comfortable to stay in.
The pool was great having a seperate section for kids with plenty grass around for doing some sunbathing if all sunbeds were taken.
Bar served a great selection of easy made food which was handy for snacks.

It was excellent...The staff were the best thing, Paulo the barman is a treat...and Victor is always a good laugh,'Figo', as everyone knew him, was an excellent host, and always made time for people...He also organised a football match that involved the staff members and anyone else who liked to join in...
The facilities were also 1st class and the the beach was only a 5 minute drive, and is was the hotel who brought you Staright there, and picked you up.
Overall I would give it a 9/10...I sincerely recommend this as a holiday, I also intend to return whenever possible.

We booked a last minute holiday, and haven't been to Portugal before, so didn't really know what to expect!!
I've got to say it was one of our best holiday's, totally relaxing, accom, very good, staff really nice, food was spot on for a snack bar!!
Kids were very happy with swimming pools and snooker table for on-site entertainment. I would recommend hiring a car to go to watermarks etc;
Alburferia is only 10 euro's in a taxi, well worth it for a livelier time and excellent places to eat!!!Portugal itself is fantastic we were so impressed with the cleanliness of everywhere we visited. Enjoy!!!!!!

We stayed in 2 one bedroom appartments, and the hotel placed us next to each other so we could be together. The rooms were very clean and a good size. Although the cooking facilities were a little limited they were sufficient for our needs. The food available at the snack bar was excellent value for money and good quality.
There were plenty of restaurants/bars around the hotel for eating/drinking out and again we found the quality very good. The kids loved the pool and there was a seperate pool for adults if they wanted a quiet swim.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was even a staff v customer football match.

These self-catering appartments provided us-a family with 3 young children-with the perfect portugal experience,we were there during the euro 2004 and the atmosphere was unbeatable. The 2 bed appartments that we stayed in were kept at a very high standard when it came to cleanliness-this cannot be faulted at all-also we were in room number three, which meant that our appartment lead straight out onto the very inviting adult and the childrens swimming pool. The staff were all great especially the bar staff. The evening entertainment was limited, but we were more than happy to sit out on our patio all evening with the children in bed as we were able to use the bar which took about 10 seconds to walk to!!!we have already looked into booking this hotel again for next year-so that will give you some indication as to how enjoyable our stay was!!!!ten out of ten!!!!!

Part of our party stayed in studio accomodation and part in an apartment. Although cooking facilities were basic, simple meals were easily prepared. Snacks and light meals were available from the bar between 9.30am & 9.00pm.
The cleanliness of both the accomodation and the complex could not be faulted. Rooms had maid service 5 times a week, towels were changed midweek and toilet rolls were also supplied. A stove top kettle is provided, however electric kettles, toasters & irons can be hired from reception for a reasonable charge (e.g. 5 euros for a week's iron hire with a returnable 15 euro deposit).
There is a children's pool adjacent to the pool nearest the reception however there is no lifeguard in attendance. Ground floor apartments near here open out on to the pool area and children can easily be kept an eye on from here.
Sky TV could be viewed on various screens in the bar including a large screen. The bar had entertainment 3 nights a week including bingo, vocalist/comedian and karaoke. The children's playground mentioned in the brochure only consisted of a slide but the tennis courts also had goals in which provided an extra playing space for children.
The hotel is located in a quiet area, which was just what we were looking for, but there were a handful of bars and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We particularly recommend Lagosteira
which does a full english breakfast for 4 euros including bread, jam, tea/coffee and fresh orange juice.
The 'local' beach (about 2km away) Praia Falesia is lovely but there are a lot of steps down to reach it which would cause a problem for those with walking difficulties.
There is a local bus which will take you into Albufeira and costs 2 euros 10 cents each way but keep hold of your ticket if you want to travel to the old town as you have to change buses at the bus terminal and your ticket covers this extra trip. Also check the bus return times as they are not particularly regular, for example, when we were ready to return around 2pm we found the next bus wasn't until 4.15pm. As there were 5 in our party we found it cheaper to get a taxi at 10 euros, however this involved the child in our party sitting on one of the adults knees.
We hired a car for 5 days of our stay. Shop around for some good deals. We got 5 days for the price of 3 which cost

we shared a studio appartment which i already expected to be pretty basic.i had read not to expect to much so wasn't suprised that only a 2 hob plug in cooker and a fridge/freezer was available in the room.
the room's were spottless when we arrived and cleaned every other day with fresh towels and toilet paper supplied.the clening ladies were very friendly and loved our son to bits, even when we disturbed them every time dirtying ther freshly mopped floors.
we found it cheaper to have breakfast and snacks in the resort bar which were good value and supprisingly nice!hotel staff were nice especially bar staff who we had a right laugh with each night.the entertainment was average some night's better than others, but this was a place we'd visit again.

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. The staff are friendly & the place is clean but the studios are very basic.
The beds are not the comfiest & the kitchen is situated at the end of the bed so the fridge is very noisy. The studios (on the first floor) are basically all in one room with a separate bathroom.
The kitchen equipment such as toasters & electric kettles have to be hired. The only cooking facility in the studio is a 2 ring electric hob that takes a little while to get going once you figure out how to use it!
The bar is small but pleasent and the pool area is clean. All in all if you want a holiday that doesn't involve cooking & staying in the studios a lot then it's fine but it wasn't for us as we wanted to be able to cook. After 2 nights we upgraded to another hotel that was great & we had a brilliant time in The Algarve.

We has a wonderful week and would definately return, well worth the money ok the self catering facilities were quite basic but we managed and the food that was available at the bar was very reasonable, my son ate there every day, the complex was very clean and during our stay very peaceful. OK so you could hire a toaster, electric kettle etc at an extra cost, but when you work out the cost of the holiday this also was very reasonable. There is a mini bus that takes you to and from the local beach and what a lovely beach it is, very clean and beautiful sand, and for 2 euros each will take you to alberfuria or the strip twice daily. The location was the only down side but if you are prepared to hire a car, use public transport or walk this also is not a problem.
