Calla Longa is a very quiet resort, as we were all inclusive we only ventured out once at night and had a meal in Flippers restaurant which was nice. Beach was nice
and not too crowded.

The resort is beautiful, we usually stay in Portinax further north but Calla Llong had every thig we needed. We especially liked the Pirates Bar and Can Marios for the BBQ and cocktails

The location is perfect, it couldn't be in a better spot! The majority of the rooms are looking over the sea which are fantastic, if you have been more than once ask about becomming a vip as you can then choose your room!
As most of the hotels are now all inclusive there is not alot of variety in restraunts and bars so I would reccomend going all inclusive!
The beaches are very child friendly acept in some seasons you get jelly fish, but the life gaurds are very good so don't be scared to ask if your a bit anxious!

Cala Longa is very remote but beautiful, probably too overcrowded in the main season. The bars and restaurants were only just opening up.
The beach is very nice but can be pricey if you hire Sun beds and Umbrella's every day, so if you want to keep the cost down, take a towel along with your sun cream

Loved Cala Llonga so quiet and relaxing. On a night there are some bars with entertainment or bars for a relaxing drink. Drinks are expensive at the moment probably due to the weak pound to euro. The beach has lovely clear water and quite shallow. All in all good hotel and location. Don't know if we will visit again as each holiday we like to try different hotels and locations.

This resort felt like a miniture version of Puerto Rico in Gran Canaria but only a quarter the size.
It looks like the resorts as developed as it's going to get and the amenities surrounding the half dozen main hotel complexes are just about adequate.
A sleepy hollow and complete contrast to San Antonio - I'd imagine. Never actually got over to visit S.A. as it would involve 2 buses and you'd have to club through the night to catch the early bus back - if you had half a mind (!) to do such a thing

Cala Llonga is fairly quiet with about four or five supermarkets, some gift shops including the "Art" commercial centre which appeared to have some bargains, and a range of restaurants and bars. As we were AI we didn't eat out in resort, but prices appeared to range from a set menu for 9 euros to a la carte with fillet steak listed at 19 euros. There were 2 British bars outside the main gates of the Playa Imperial which appeared very reasonable, we spent a pleasant Sunday aftenoon in one of them - the Mediteraneo - which has Sky TV on big screens and shows sporting events, soaps etc. We had the bar to ourselves whilst watching the F1 grand prix, with John Smiths bitter only 2.5 euros and a large glass of nice white wine only 2 euros! Nightlife is pretty low-key as far as we could tell....
The beach is beautiful, and kept very clean - when a load of seaweed was washed up after some stormy weather they had bulldozers and lorries working non-stop until it was cleared again. Likewise the resort itself was very clean, and there are some fabulous views from the headlands above the resort.
I'm looking for flights for next year.....

The resort is quite small but there are a few nice shops, bars, plenty enough for us as we were all inclusive. The beach is great, and we didn't see one jelly fish

This resort is very clean. There are enough shops to browse through. We did not go to any entertainment in the resort because we had it in our hotel. The beach was spotless, it was cleaned every day. We are hoping to go back next year. This resort is nice and flat.

Cala Llonga is a small resort with a few shops, bars and restaurants so will not suit anyone who likes a lively busy holiday but is ideal if you want to relax and just get a bus or taxi some days to bigger places. On the subject of restaurants we ate most nights at Flippers. The food was really good and well priced and the service was excellent. No hesitation in recommending it. I would advise everyone to steer clear of the restaurant to the left of Flippers (don’t know the name). We had one meal there at the beginning of our holiday which was very average then made the mistake of going back a second time because two of our party wanted to try the baked shoulder of lamb. It was absolutely disgusting. The “lamb” was very mature to say the least and tasted as if it had been cooked the week before. The veg was so overcooked it was like mush in your mouth. I ordered grilled salmon and got swordfish swimming in oil with soggy droopy salad. Avoid the place at all costs.
If you like a nice milky coffee and a very friendly face go to The Madison bar just beyond the apartments near the bus stop and see Pepe.He made you feel as if your custom really mattered and it was very pleasant to sit there and watch the world go by.
All in all I would certainly recommend these apartments for a nice relaxing holiday.
