Cala Llonga is a very small resort, but beautiful.
Unfortunately, we visited in early season, and it was very quiet, with many places not open.
The beach is amazing. It is by far the best beach I have ever been to.
It has been sculpted, so the water is very shallow for a long way out - in fact, I had to go out quite some distance to swim without kicking the bottom. It must be one of the safest beaches for children anywhere.
There were pedalloes available to hire on the beach, most had a slide on them. As the water is so shallow, it's safe to go a long way out, and have some great fun in safety.
The main street has a number of very reasonably priced stores, and some lovely restaurants (I can heartily recommend the Ghoulash at the Italian on the far end of the main road, and the Chinese restaurant on the road out).
The shops are mainly the same as throughout Ibizam with the obligatory "Art" superstore, which has some excellent prices.
Close to the beach, there's a small mimi-mart with pretty good prices, and a souvenir shop that gets the british newspapers in.
As we left, there was a small funfair setting up - evidently it's there most years.
Away from the main street, there's a pharmacy with very helpful staff, and a couple of restaurants and bars, along with a car hire firm.
Each shop, bar or restaurant we visited were very reasonably priced, and the staff were always very friendly and helpful.
You can get the ferry to various locations from a jetty on the side of the cove, with very reasonable prices, although you can also use the taxi rank (rates are very cheap compared to at home), or the bus which is extremely cheap.
I would recommend the resourt to families with young children and couples, older children may find there's a lack of "things to do" - although it may be livelier later on in the season

Cala llonga is itself ver nice. I have been before and nothing really changes and the beach is as nice as always. Try Ses Veles for a good hearty meals and they also do children's meals. Bit of advice - is get there before 8pm as it does get busy. The AthenaBar is good if you dont mind youre kiddies wandering off through the tunnels. They do a Eat as much buffet which was nice and you can sit in or outdoors.7 euros in a taxi to Santa Eulalia which has a long promenade to walk down and shops as usual.Nice for a change of scenery.Didnt really get to eat in many restaurants as had a young child but all looked very nice

The resort is beautiful with lovely scenery and is kept spotless.
The entertainment was mainly in our hotel, the resort is a small cove which you can walk around in ten minutes and considering we went in high season there wasn't much happening beyond the hotel there is a few quiet bars and one or two with entertainment which again is suitable for younger children.
The beach is a lovely cove with pine clad hills surrounding it. It is a quieter laid back resort more for families with young children or couples looking for a relaxing or romantic holiday.

I would visit the resort again although it is quite quiet. The beach was lovely and it was very clean.
The resturants were nice and there was even an English one.

Cala Llonga is a lovely quiet place to visit for a relaxing holiday. Not much nightlife though so younger people may get bored. We took our 8 year old who wasn't impressed on an evening as not a lot to do.
Beach was lovely and clean and only a few minutes walk from most of the hotels and apartments. Hippy market in Cala Llonga on Thursdays is nice to look around.
Would go back without children as not much for them to do.
Water taxis to Ibiza town made a nice change from catching the bus.

The resort was very clean and looked after.
There was plenty going on in and around the various bars within the resort.
The beach was kept very clean with a specially designed tractor each morning that sieved the sand and picked up any rubbish from the night before.
We have been to Cala Llonga 4 times now and would not hesitate to visit again in the future.

The resort was fairly clean and tidy with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas.
Not much entertainment, with a few shops and bars.
The beach was ok, but I have been to better.
This holiday has put me off ever staying in a Fiesta hotel and I will not be going back to Ibiza again.
