Small resort but with adequate bars/restaurants. Pretty much the same food everywhere so decisions made on location and comfort of seats !
Beach good altho found some glass from a broken bottle towards the back - lots of cigarette butts in the sand. Beds reasonably priced 10.5 euros for 2 beds and a brolly.
Went on the trip to the aquapark with my travel - complete chaos to get on the coach - 5 coaches turned up with reps and all had list of who should be on that particular coach so you had to find the rep of each coach and find out if you were on their list - about 200 people trying to do that at the same time !! Tempers got a little frayed. Other than that -excellent day at waterpark.
All in all - quiet resort, not much nightlife, beach ideal for kids, food pretty standard fare.

Cala Llonga is one of the quieter resorts on the island but is still well served with buses or ferrys to visit the other towns.
The town & beach is safe for children, and it's a nice quiet retret for couples. Not for the 18-30 crowd looking for all-night entertainment!
There are a small handful of shops selling normal tourist stuff, and a variety of bars & restaurants with reasonably priced food, though variety is low!
Cala Llonga's yearly fiesta is on Aug 11th which ends with a spectaular fireworks display - not to be missed.
The resort & beach is always clean, and we would definately return.

Cala Llonga is one of the quietest resorts I have ever been to. It is very clean and pleasant looking but there is nothing to do at night apart from visit the bars and restaurants. The only place that stays open until 4am is a supposedly family bar that serves drinks to underage kids (I cant mention the name for legal reasons). There is a jetty just along the beach where you can get a ferry to other parts of the island. Go to Santa Eulalia just up the coast as there is a lot more life there and shops too.
I'm sure that in years to come Cala Llonga will be a lot more lively or if you like peace and quiet it's ready now.
I would not visit this part of Ibiza again.

I can honestly say, I didn't see one piece of litter!! The beach is superb and has great facilities - pedalos, bannana boats, donut boats and great beach bars. The nightlife is great etoo, as this is a resort where you can definately say there is something for everyone. There are exotic restaurants for those of you that enjoy foreign food, or traditional english restaurants. There are quiet bars so that you can relax, or noisier ones that you can party the night away in!!! As for noise levels, most nightlife shuts around 12, so those of you that need your sleep will certainly get it!! I am returning to Cala Llonga next year too, and I booked it 5 days after I came home this year!!!

The area is excellent, set in a small cove, there are bars and a decent - not over populated beach. Ibiza is a small island and all areas can be accessed.
The best tour we went on was San Antonio Noche - which gave a boat ride around the coast of San Antonio, finishing with watching the sunset with a drink of champagne (fizzy wine!). All for 20 Euros. Well worth it.

Cala Longa is quiet, but a beautiful place, excellent if you want to wind down and do nothing but relax for a fortnight.

This resort is not for those seeking a clubbing holiday! It is far too quiet!
The beach is clean with soft sand, the water clear and gently-shelving (you have to go a long way out to be out of your depth; I'm 5' 10" and could stand up when at least 75 metres from the shore).
Entertainment is mostly centred around the hotels, though some bars/restaurants do have large-screen TV/Video/Music.
Although now in our 50s, my wife and I have been going to Cala Llonga either with our daughters or alone for something over 20 years. I would not hesitate to recommend it.
