Beautiful small family type resort with some nice beach bars across the back of the beach. Enough shops and a good handful of bars. Some of the bars had singers on etc. there was also a childrens roundabout (fairground type) which the kids loved in the evenings.
A good variety of restaurants although nothing really local, you would have to go out into a village for something like that.
Beach excellent for kids, shallow and clean.

As we were all - inclusive we did'nt venture out too much, but when we did, we were glad that we had gone all-in, it is a very quiet resort, although quite friendly, but we did'nt see much to do in the resort itself, i think if we had been self-catering i would have been unimpressed with the place, for a couple on their own it would be ok, but for a family with kids like ourselves it would'nt be a place where i would choose, although i would go back to the hotel we had, as it was lovely. All in all we did have a really nice time with no complaints!!

Escana is quiet not for those yougsters who expect dance music all night and day, there is one disco but was never in it. Beaches lovley and clean, small amout of shops, lots of nice walks.
es cana is a very nice clean place with plenty going on all the time.there s alittle fair for kids, lots of shops, mini stalls and the weekly hippy market a brilliant place for families.
Es Cana is a lovely quiet old fishing village- no yobs and families are safe.
It isn't full of night clubs so beware if that's what you like!!

Es Cana beach itself gets quite crowded, however, if you follow the coast around for a short way you will come to Cala Nova. This takes about 15-20 minutes walking at a steady pace.
If you are feeling a little more energetic, you can walk past the famous Hippy Market around to Punta Arabi, and then on to S'Agramassa...the latter being a lovely little beach with many water sports to offer. This will take approx 35 mins.
The resort of Es Cana is lively, yet not rowdy. It offers a good selection of bars, restaurants and shops and there are various activities provided for nippers, such as a small fun-fair.
All in all, if you want a week in the sun and are on a budget, you could do far worse. Plans are already being made to return next year with a group of friends.

Resport is excellent, nice and clean, lovely views and everything to hand, beach is just across the road and plenty of shops to browse.
Es Cana is the little bit of heaven that is Ibiza! the beach is always clean and full, the bar staff in its many bars are always friendly and helpful and you would have to be a right old misery to not find any entertainment to enjoy.
It is a very safe resort for familys and not too noisy late at night. Es Cana is a good point to be based also if you want to investigate the beautiful isle, there are plenty of good hire cars and driving around the area is not too daunting. The is good shopping too and although I would always recommend a visit to the weekly Hippie Market being honest, once is usually enough!!!
There is also quite a large ex-pat community in the area many have been there for many years running bars and so on, and are a fun and friendly bunch, we hope to continue visiting Es Cana for many years yet!!!
