This was our second visit to a Fiesta Hotel. Location is good as only 10 minutes transfer from airport. The waterpark is only 5 minutes away and all the sports facilities are on the doorstep. It is a 10 minute walk into town centre and the beach can be reached via the back entrance of the hotel.

Rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed daily. Maids worked very hard to maintain the high standard. Pool area was spotless and very pleasant. We never had a problem getting a sunbed.

There was a good variety of food for adults but not much for children. I expected chicken nuggets, fish fingers etc. but this was not the case. Our kids lived on sausage, chips and savoury rice. The puddings were very nice.

Hotel staff were pleasant and entertainment team very friendly. My husband took part in all the sports which he really enjoyed. There was lots for the kids if they wanted to take part. Evening entertainment was very mixed. The games were a bit long-winded but some of the shows such as Moulin Rouge were very good. There was a kids disco every evening before the entertainment started followed by (yes you guessed it) bingo!

I would visit this hotel again as it was ideally situated and very friendly. We met many families that had been here 4 or 5 times.

The hotel is lovely.Rooms were clean,we had clean towels everyday. The bar staff cleared up quickly.

The dining room was clean and the staff were quick to clear away your plates when you had finished with them. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. The food in this hotel was great, plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner.

I would recommend that you upgrade to all inclusive drinks it is great value for money. The entertainment in this hotel is very good, the fiesta fun team work very hard to keep you entertained, the shows that they put on are great. The team are very friendly they go out of there way to talk to you.

The hotel is a bit out of the way but it is better than being in the busy bit of Playa, there are plenty of ways to get to Playa or Ibiza town, you can get a bus which is cheap,a taxi is also cheap, you can get the train from the front door of the hotel at night it is well worth getting it is a great laugh and quite a experience.

We would go back to this hotel it was great.

Just returned from a 2 week 4*AOA holiday to the Fiesta Bahama Beach Club. The first thing that struck us was that this did not appear to be a 4* hotel. The reception area was dated and in need of refurbishment. We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs to our room (no lifts) and the room was quite basic (e.g. no aircon). There was a stream of aircraft flying overhead to land at the nearby airport. I was stung by a jellyfish on my first dip in the med, the beach was covered in fag ends and on one day the a storm dumped 6 inches of rain on the island flooding the local area and the hotel and leaving 10 foot piles of sea weed. So did we have a rotten holiday?

No, not at all, it was great! And that speaks volumes about the hotel, the food, our fellow holidaymakers and the entertainment team.

We had a good view from our room which overlooked the pool and the entertainment area. We had a lovely maid (as usual) who kept the room perfectly clean and tidy. The aircraft were no problem, I even turned into a bit of a plane spotter (I'll get my anorak). The food was excellent and, as with most Spanish help yourself buffets the meal is often as good as you make it. We took advantage of the Fiesta concession and dined out at two other hotels - the Algarb and Palm Beach next door- they were both just as good as the Bahamas and even a little better in some ways (good views from the Algarb). The house wine was fine, a generous 1 litre bottle for 5 Euros.

The storm flooded the pool area and the ground floor apartments but the staff were not at all phased by the disruption all around and set about sorting everything out and all was back to normal by the next day. We were somewhat concerned for those with flooded apartments and the people next door at the Palm Beach which was completely flooded but assume that Thomson sorted everything out - didn't hear any grumbles or complaints! Heavy seas cleaned the beach and washed all the fag end away (at 12 Euros a day why don't the sun-bed hirers keep the beach clean?). The sea weed was more like sea grass and the piles looked like they were due to be cleared away fairly promptly. After the storm, there were millions of mostly dead jellyfish on the other side of the island but never saw another one at Cala den Bossa.

The hotel was a bit out of the way but you could be in charming Ibiza town, with good access to the rest of the island, within 20 minutes on the 4 times an hour bus service.

Finally, the entertainment team were fantastic. We are heading for the Golden Oldie age group and could be forgiven for not being that interested in the mini-disco and party games. But we never failed to watch them from our balcony if only to admire the professionalism and enthusiasm of the kids team. And when the whole entertainment team came together for the show nights (Mama Mia, We Will Rock You, etc.) they were so polished and enrgetic (with a few 'characters' thrown in) it was easy to feel that you were watching something a bit special. We were pleased to be able to catch Boris (the Master of Ceremonies) just before we left to thank him for all the work he and the team had put in.

This was our first holiday abroad with the children and did not know what to expect, we stayed on a half board basis with plenty of variety of foods to eat, we upgraded to all inclusive for drinks when we got there which I would say would be a must if you have children.

The rooms were cleaned every day with new towels left if you needed them, the maid staff I found were very honest as we left money out without realising and it was put safe on the table.

The location of the hotel was not brilliant but never the less you can't have it all if you only want a 10 minute transfer from the airport.

The entertainment was second to none, the whole team put on excellant shows in the evening and there was a mini disco for the kids first which my eldest of 3 loved.

This hotel is definately worth a visit.

This lovely Hotel was 4 minutes in a taxi from the airport which cost us 7E. The hotel was very clean and tidy, but could possibly do with a refurb. The staff were friendly, informative and polite.

We bought all inclusive bands out there for our drinks which cost about 40.00 per day(I think) but we did not go out a lot and well saved us money, as they can be used in any of the 4 bars between 10am and 12midnight.

There was loads of entertainment and activities going on all day for the adults and kids, I have an 8 year old and 1 teenager and we all loved it.

The entertainment team were fab, Boris and Mariella were excellent leaders of the team, but they were all great. They did some fab shows, Mamma mia, we will rock you, sister act, the lion king, etc.

Food gorgeous, good selection buffet style.

Pool massive and spotless clean, loads of free sunloungers and chairs, only down side no air conditioning in room just a fan, was v hot, left patio doors open a little most nights until heard that a women had money/phone stolen doing this, on 1st floor, hotel right on beach so people could possibly wander in from there in night.

Good location though for this in daytime. Loved it, excellent holiday regardless, would recommend it.

Fiestaland up the road to use as well as many other fiesta hotels to dine in if you wish to.

Our sixth holiday in this hotel, and as ever, loved every minute. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly, but have noticed that the service on the terrace during evening entertainment is not as good as it was. Some nights I only got served once or twice in a whole evening, come back Gordillo and Pacquito!

The food is great, especially the trays of whole poached salmon that are wheeled out one after the other every Wednesday, think that's my favourite night!

The entertainers work their socks off and are so friendly, only one disappointment is that some of the shows they did last year such as starlight express were not done again, however lion king is on every year!

Ideal if you are a couch potato and just want to soak up the rays while your partner or kids want to work off some steam with half a dozen different sporting activities throughout the day.

Location is superb, right in the middle of fiestaland, with the waterpark nearby, right on the beach and only 10 mins from the airport. Although this means some noise, you generally don't notice after the first couple of days.

All inclusive is always good value, even on days out you can request a packed lunch to take with you.
Counting the days until our next Bahamas visit.

Yet another excellent holiday spent in this hotel chain. Since 1986 we have used the Fiesta hotels in Playa den Bossa, this was our 4 continuous visit to this particular hotel.

The hotel cleanliness has never slipped, the cleaners work from 8.00 am in the morning and are still cleaning all the rooms mid to late afternoon, the supervisor in charge is "on the ball".

Hotel food is excellent, good choice, always hot, well presented and the dining room is alway kept clean and tidy and well run. Hotel location is "far enough away but near enough to" everything.

We have from time to time taken the little train for a couple of euros which the children enjoyed (and us!!!) It's about 10 min walk into the town with all the bars etc. You can hear some aircraft noise but it has never spoilt our holidays as it does depend which way the wind is blowing!!!.

Hotel staff are excellent very friendly, helpful and curtious and the life guards they have on duty are piece of mind. How the entertainment staff keep going we do not know! They start at 10.30am and are still going strong at midnight, when everything finishes, except for the bar inside which is open until 1.00 pm.

We will be returning to Playa den Bossa again in 2006.

Can't wait.

What can I say, a fab hotel with an exceptional entertainment team!!!!

My husband, my 9yr old granddaughter and myself booked this hotel on the advise from our travel agent. With a young grandchild I always worry that we won't be able to keep her amused for 2 weeks. How wrong could I be?? The crew were the best that I had seen and worked tirelessly to keep the children and the parents entertained. They put on relatively lavish musicals within their restricted area with true professionalism! They encouraged the children together as a group and as a result we often worried that we weren't spending enough time with her!!

The food in the hotel was excellent with a wide variety for both adults and children alike. A good mixture of salads/pasta/meat and fish dishes made sure there was at least one dish that you would like.

The hotel is directly on the beach and has its own beach bar.

The only thing that I did find a problem is that there was no option to have a fridge in the room. This is no problem if you are going all inclusive but if you are not you either have to buy the drinks at over-inflated prices at the pool bar or buy them cheap at the shop and drink them warm.

Overall, an excellent holiday, made all the better for the outstanding entertainment crew.

Just returned from 14 days at the Bahamas Beach Club.

Hotel very nice, very clean, rooms big enough for a family of 4, with plenty of wardrobe space. Rooms cleaned every day. Pool very large and clean. Pool area large with plenty of sunbeds chairs etc. Public areas were also clean and comfy. Food was ok, good selection at breakfast, mixed selection at dinner.

Recommend the all inclusive drinks bands as Playa D'en Bossa is not the sort of place you could spend a lot of time in and it's a fair walk to the centre (or a 5 euro taxi ride). Hotel location is quiet as it is at the end of the resort, although close to the water park which is well worth a day out.

The hotel is very nice and I couldn't say a bad word about any of it, and it's right on the beach which is also clean, good for the kids and there is loads of room.

The hotel is practically at the end of the runway and takes around 5 mins from the airport - great if you have kids. The planes do fly low and you will see a lot, but they are not round the clock, and didn't cause us any sleepless nights.

Overall our party of 13 had an enjoyable trouble free relaxing break in the Bahamas, but I won't be returning to this resort.
