The apartment is just next to the beach which was great. The beach was a 'shingly' beach so I'd recommend paying for the sunbeds! However, it was really clean and beautiful. There were pedlo's and plently of things to keep everyone entertained on the beach.
There wasn't much to do in the evenings as the resort is very small so we got the bus into San Antonio. The bus takes you into San Antonio every day and its very cheap too. On Saturday's the last bus leaves San Antonio at 1am, other nights the last bus leaves at 11pm.
I only stayed for one week and think i'd probably have got a bit bored if I stayed for 2 weeks due to the lack of bars and restaurants in the resort.

Resort was clean and tidy, you could see it had just opened.
Internet terminals in the excursion shop over the road from the Beach club.
Beach spotless, hardly anyone on it.

The Resort is only small with half a dozen restaurants, there is a nice fish restaurant on the beach, and an english pub - happy friars -which serves good grub and is open till late.
A few supermarkets and souvenier shop make up the rest of Puerto San Miguel.
There is also an Excursion shop run by an english couple who really helped us out, we were recommended to them by a family who had booked a package, and had done a few trips through them so we went along to the shop and booked 2 days out, one to the water park which the kids loved, we went on a thursday as this is when none of the tour operators are there, which was great as there was no queueing at all. The other was on the Catamaran to Formentera, which was a fantastic day out, and also 20 euros per adult cheaper than what one of the reps in the hotel wanted.
In general the resort is quite but pretty and has all you need for a weeks self catering family holiday.
Would definately go back.

Resort Quiet small, you will need to get out and about.
However everyone we met in the resort is friendly and helpful.
Beach beautiful.

If, like ourselves you tend to find sitting on the beach or by a pool all day a bit of a bore, there is a shop in the town selling a wide variety of excursions.
We took a trip over to Formentera and had a day at the water park, which the kids loved! The prices were also much cheaper than the rep at the hotel was able to offer us.
We had such a good time we're planning on returning for another week in September.

The sandy beach was let down due to the amount of fag ends left behind,but the sea was lovely and warm and with a bit of bread the fish will come and feed from you.We all went on the banana boat for 4 Euros each with a ticket from reception and our 5 year old was allowed in the speed boat as his ride.The free canoes were great,much better than the pedloes.The weather for 1st 3days was overcast but still warm at 23C,the rest was 26-27C sunny and hot! not bad for mid october!We would come back again.

This could have been a beautiful quiet resort but the beach was spoilt by huge numbers of cigarette ends lining the sea edge. The reosrt can be covered in less than 10 minutes 5 minutes there and five minutes back. No water sports were available as it was too windy so it meant there was nothing to do. You do not have to pay the tour company's prices for trips as there is a fantastic small english run trip office next to the bureau de change. The guy who runs it took us in his own peole carrier for the duration of our trip to Es Cana. He was friendly, a good driver and very reasonably priced.

Small but very pretty and very clean.

San miguel is a quiet resort best suited for families.It is not for clubbers or shoppers.We personally love it as it does not attract gangs of youths.There are a couple of shops that sell everything you may need a couple of restuarants and 2 pubs.The only down side is there are no cash points or chemists but they are only a short distance away.The beach is beautiful.It is cleaned daily and there are lots of water activities.For a small charge you can hire sunbeds and parasol's.The local's are very friendly and helpful and some even remembered us which was lovely.We have already made plans to return thats how much we love it.
