Wow, what a fantastic hotel! So glad to see the hotel has now got the 4* it deserves without bumping up the price!!!
Rooms are equipped with everything you could possibly need like hob, microwave, fridge, fantastic shower (+ bath) and the best of all cosy beds!!! They are so immaculate (except for our own personal mess!!)Towels and bedding seem to be changed often but if not to your liking you only have to ask. Toilet roll re-stacked each time too!! I had towels on demand, and when my son had a nose bleed in the night the next day they came and sorted it out, with clean, crisp sheets!!
The pool was sparklingly clean. No complaints what-so-ever. There would be someone sorting it out (and checking out the surroundings for damage/cleanliness etc) before 9am and after 7pm. A man came about 3 times a day to do a pool water check each day too which was really good to know.
The bar staff were fantastic(Kike, David, Raffael, Bar Manager Jose and Chef Dolly)....only too pleased to help and when your kids go to the bar with yet another Euro they are only too willing to help them too!
The food at the bar was good but a little bit more expensive than the local bar/cafes but that

Pool is clean not too big but nice, the rooms are big. didnt have a very good view from our room as we were over looking the car park but friends had a pool view and it was lovely.
Didnt eat in many nights. 10 Min walk and you were at the best place to eat ever, Jackie Browns. We went there nearly all the time.
Rosamar is mainly for young couples as thats what were mainly there when we were.
Definately go back again. Great place.
The beach wasnt too far to walk and the shop is just down the road which sells most things you would need. Not far to walk or taxi to the west end or the big clubs.
Koppas bar in the west end is really good, get a cd if you go. Es Paradis the best big club, nice roman style and top tunes playing until 6.30am.

Food was very basic typical British food but not bad. Location pretty good for shops and restaurants on the bay with most supermarkets selling a good variety of British groceries.
Staff were very polite, Thomson reps did there best. Entertainment was very limited so if you wanted a decent night it was best to go out to the many bars available. I wouldn't advise any people with young families or wanted a decent nights sleep to stay, although advertised in brochure for young couples and families it was full of young clubbers who came back at all hours of the morning swearing and shouting abuse, which also happened around the pool during the day. Only reason we stayed here was as it was advertised for families. Would definitely not go back.

It was a laid back hotel and the rooms were spacious, and the air conditioning was an absolute dream. It was advertised as a family hotel but when we got there we found there to be a lot of other young like minded people. It was far enough from the noise but near enough for when you wanted to go in to it.
I loved it that much that I am going back this year in august, cannot wait. Definately go to Moby Dicks and for tasty barmen go to sgt peppers II, they were the best!!!

1, Its self catering but the bar meals are very nice and reasonable prices.
2, The hotel is Very clean, infact as you walk in the main doors you think you are entering a 5* hotel.
3, We thought the location was OK,a shop just at the bottom of the road for most things, even the paper.
4, Hotel staff very nice and pleasant.
5, Our children are aged 12 and 18,not alot for them to do,but the youngsters aged 3-9 looked to enjoy themselves at the kids club.
6, If we visit Ibiza again we would be looking to stay here again.
7, A few places to visit....across the road "The Smugglers" very nice meals.
To the main road and turn right...10 min walk "Jackie Browns" nice meals too.
Next door "The Jolly Roger" decent live music.
If you like a Chinese..next door to Jackie Browns go upstairs, great choice of menu.
Cant think of anything to whinge about...but if you want me to, then the main road can be very busy..so watch your kids and dont expect everyone to stop when you stand at the zebra crossings "cos they dont"
and the pavements are bad if you have a pushchair or wheelchair.
Hope this helps you all.
1 happy chappy.

The pool area was lovely (although the only criticism I have was that there weren't enough shady areas or any parasols as we took our 9 month old daughter and kept having to move things around to keep her in the shade most of the time. The pool was extremely clean and is where our 4 year old spent most of his time!
The location was great for families - lots of the bars and restaurants nearby had play areas for the kids so that the adults could have a bit of relaxation time. The food was very English-based (but I didn't expect much else). I'd definitely recommend the bbq at Moby Dick's for good value and a change from chips and also the Doble Dragon Chinese which we visited twice (spare rib heaven!)
A definite must is to see the sunset from the beach at Kumharas - it's paradise (and within easy walking distance of the Rosamar).
All in all a most enjoyable holiday for all concerned.

The Rosamar was very clean the staff were helpful, friendly and welcoming they really couldn't do enough for us. The entertainment wasnt that great then again we did visit at the end of the season!
They have a cafe/restaurant which is open all day and drinks and food were reasonably priced and was nice.
The rooms are very spacios the bathrooms are also quite big which is always a good thing!!
The location is really good aswell you are near to shops and bars, you are not far away from a small beach and from this beach you can get a boat over to san antonio town and this is cheap which again is a good thing!! So if you are thinking of visiting this area of ibiza then stay at the rosmar you won't reget it i certainly didn't!

We loved the fact that the Hotel was far enough away from San Antonio Town to be peaceful yet still close enough to comfortably walk there (Though probably not if you had small children). We hired mopeds and were able to travel to some of the more secluded beaches as well as explore the caves and make a trip to Ibiza Town. If fact we did tend to spend most of our days away from San Antonio itself.
With a small supermarket just up the road providing plenty of fresh produce we were able to make excellent use of the self catering facilities. (Which was a god-send as most of the food for sale localy was deep fried English style, sausages and chips type meals.)
We didn't stay around for much of the hotel entertainment as we really wanted to explore the island. We did however use the pool tables almost everyday. (although a little worse for wear they definitely were fun to have a couple of casual games with friends) The bars, clubs and restaurants close by and in the town were great and we had a wonderful night at Mardi Gras. We also went to Cafe Del Mar and watch a wonderful sunset to fantastic music.
The hotel was extremely clean with friendly maids coming into the rooms daily to make up the beds and change the towels. If we needed anything they were more than happy to help with a sense of humour that broke the language barrier. We had a lovely view of the ocean to our right and the mountains to our left and the pool area just below us.
I would definitely stay at the Rosamar again and to all of Ibiza's critics I would say that the island is what you make of it!
