Rooms with sea view or road view. We were quite happy in our roadside room but bay view must be best. Variable meal times. Good buffet choice.

ask for a sea view as they allocated us a room over nothing although sea view rooms were empty

very dissapointed we stayed here 3yrs ago and it was great gone down hill since then most bars and resterants closed through the day very quiet were told its been this way for a number of years not many holiday makers going there now compared with few years ago.beaches were small but some nice others just sand skimmed over rocks.I wont be visting ibiza again.

The resort looked very tired and shabby.
There were some good bars in the resort.
The small beaches that we found were clean and relatively quiet.
I don't think we would visit San Antonio Bay again.

Plenty to do with lots of cafes, bars and restaurants in both the Bay area and San Antonio itself. Beaches are small but relatively clean and the promenade affords a nice stroll all the way to the town itself. Water taxis at 2 Euros per person stop right outside the Las Perlas if you don't fancy the walk and run until midnight. Try the Mei Ling chinese restaurant across the road for a great meal. Jackie Browns is ok but you may have a long wait (say hello to Tim one of the long suffering and hard working waiters if you pay a visit).

There has been a fair bit of work done on the bay area, the paths have all been widened, and there is a one way traffic system all the way down, which I thought a great idea. No more fighting the crowds along narrow pathways. There are pubs, clubs, resteraunts to suit all ages, you never have to venture far. The beach is nothing to write home about, very small very narrow and very rocky in the sea itself. We found a really nice beach about a 15 minute walk away. But if you are like us and prefer to laze away the hours by the pool then its all good. I have stayed in the bay now for 8 years running, and already booked up for next year, so it must be good. There is a fair bit of building work being done in the bay area, quite a few new hotels, money well spent I say.

Beach was clean, nasty smell on occasions, good choice of entertainment in surrounding bars, and yes would visit the area again

IBIZA was amazin overall, great nightlife, clubs and people but canny expensive.
The thing is if you are wanting to go to a beach during the day, get a boat and go somewhere like CALA BASSA...that beach is lush and you can almost ride the waves...the beaches on san an strip aren't that nice they've got quite a lot of rubbish on them and are imported sand, so if you wanna go for the beach expect to pay to go to a gud one. Its only like 6 euros for there and back...just make sure that you dont miss the last boat and its not gud for people who have sea sickness!!!
But if you there for the nightlife then why would you be bothered about the resort...it gets you tanned during the day and drunk by night...what more would you want....????
