Rooms with sea view or road view. We were quite happy in our roadside room but bay view must be best. Variable meal times. Good buffet choice.

I enjoyed the resort, but felt it was too busy for me. i shall be staying at Bora-Bora if i am to go again, as it has a far better beach- although when i was in Ibiza 13th-20th july, there had been an oil spill and no one was allowed in the sea at Bora-Bora!

we are a couple aged 35 and 32, we stayed at the playa bella mid july, excellent place to stay although we only went for the sun and not the clubs but you are far enough away from them. the resort was was excellent too and you have all you need on your doorstep shops restaurants bars and beach. This was our first visit to ibiza and i am returning to san antonio bay in september as i loved it so much.

We enjoyed our time on the island - we even took a trip to Formentera island for the day on our Wedding Anniversary.
The bars/restaurants all around are OK, our favourite was the Pint Pot - which is situated on the beach front a short walk along from the Rosamar heading towards San Antonio. San Antonio itself was ok too - the fountains at night are lovely to see.
We hired a car for the day and saw all of the major resorts on the island. We visited the Hippy Market (be warned - not good for getting a buggy around) and the water park in Playa d'en Bossa - which the kids loved - which is all that matters.

San Antonio Bay is lovely. You can either have quiet or be in the thick of it.
a visit to Cafe Del Mar and cafe mambo for the sunset is a must.
You can walk right round the bay and even to other resorts.
I would defintely go back but to a different hotel.

On walking around the area where Nautilus Hotel was situated we found a vast amount of pavements broken or unfinished, rather dangerous. Quite a number of properties shut or unfinished. The whole area seemed to be neglected, obviously work had been carried out, but never seemed to be finished. For example trees planted, but not staked properly, consequently falling over the pavements - what a waste of effort!

San Antonio Bay has plenty to do for everyone! the resort is kept clean and tidy. Its relaxing and fun and its not as mad as San Antonio Town, itself! We always had our first drink in the Jolly Roger, which served good food too! The Pink Panther a couple of minutes away was great for cocktails, and the staff are lovely. We had our breakfast every morning at the Pint Pot on the beach. Fab food, and friendly staff. The Bull Bars in the resort are great for people with kids. Although i can imagine getting through quite a few euros in a night out, with all the rides on offer.
The Beach is small, but is kept extremely clean by one guy, who hires out the sunbed loungers (4 euros each). He was up and down the beach all day, cleaning, etc. Friendly guy.
The only downside to the resort is the amount of 'Sellers' forever badgering you to buy sunglasses, or watches. There was a constant trickle of these 24 hrs everyday! Even shoving their 'wears' under your nose when you were eating!!
Most evenings after a night out, we would buy a Pizza from the Restaurant just below the Sunshine Apartments to take to our room. These were lovely. Again the staff there could not do enough for you.
We went across by boat to San Antonio Town about 3 times. Twice to the West End, and once to have a nice meal (which actually turned out not to be that nice, and quite expensive to boot!). The West End, is absolutely 'banging', and great fun for young ones. The only downside is the numberous 'Towts' which are forever trying to get you in their bar with promises of free shots, cocktails, buy one get one free offers.
You must visit the Rock Bar on the end of the strip. Although it was the most expensive bar of our evening for drinks, its well worth it, to listen to some great music! it had less of a feel of a 'cattle market'! If you understand my meaning.
Quite an eye-opener watching people selling drugs, openly. Even to the point of being asked if we would like to buy some!? Surely this is illegal? Anyway, we just ignored them. If you get a chance and some money left at the end of your holiday, have a go on the 'Sling Shot'. Expensive 25 euros each, but worth it! We even brought the DVD for an extra 10 euros! Was funny watching it back!
We would definitely go back to this resort, enjoyed it immensely.
