As I am a 50+ woman, it's 30 years since I first visited San Antonio and like most resorts which have been around for a long time, it is now considerably more pleasant than it was in the 70's. A lot of the bars have beautiful chill out style furniture and the 'Sunset strip' is lovely. The food is a good mix of categories and you don't have to eat burgers and chips all the time anymore. Can't comment on what is in the West End as I only had a quick walk round for old times sake and didn't stop long! Noticed that some of the bars I was frequenting in the 80's are still busy (used to love Joe Spoons!)

would definately visit this resort again as its got plenty to do for all ages. plenty of bars with entertainment for all ages too. its not too far from the main san antonio clubbing part either which makes it good if you want that kind of holiday but the peace and quiet also.

only went to san antonio bay, as it was the cheapest deal flying out in the next 24hours and we were desperate for some sun!

had a great time though, kids loved it and the beach was very sheltered and safe for swimming and floating about on lilo's.

Really enjoyed San Antonia, Particular favourite bar of our's was the Irish bar Joe Spoons.

went to the Water Park, on the local Bus, had to change buses in Ibiza town, to get bus to playa de Enbossa, but relatively easy to do.

Also went on local bus to Santa Eulalia, took about half hour, buses really packed a lot of people standing, but air con so not too bad.

Beaches were not very big, but clean and had life guards.

San Antonio bay Resort cleanliness was OK but pathways had missing slabs and holes everywhere- you had to watch where you were walking.
Resort entertainment consisted of 1 long strip with bars/2 fun fairs and the same shops. No good live shows with a couple of dance rooms with hardly anyone in them.
Beach - rocky at the Milord but the further you go round the bay the sandy it gets.
Buses run daily but only to San Antonio bus station.
Beach entertainment:Jet skis/padlows/banana boat/1 small tunnel slide. One jamaican bar on the beach near the Milord Hotel.

The area was kept as clean as possible with all the bins emptyed daily, the beach was cleaned every other day by tractor.

We hired 4 sunbeds and 3 umbrella,s which cost 27.50 euros for the day!! needless to say we were not going to be paying that every day, so the men wandered down to the sister hotel Ses Savionnes(excuse spelling!) and as you approach along the promenard there is a small wall with a small gate it looks as if it belongs to the small house but it does belong to the hotel and has sunbeds on a small sandy beach so this is where we went for the rest of the holiday.

We were about a 10 min walk from all the hustle and bustle of San Antonio ,we enjoyed walking down of an evening and sitting at one of the many resturants, we never encountered any problems and everyone was very friendly.

We caught buses to Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia which were very reasonably priced(1.75 euros)and all air conditioned and were very regular.

We would return to Ibiza but try Santa Eulalia next time

Staying in San Antonio I expected to find a lot of places to party and get drunk and thats exactly what I got. Some of the bars and the big clubs offer entertainment inside.

The best part about the resort was the value for money...yes the clubs like amnesia and eden are expensive for drinks but if you go in the westend first the drinks are really cheap.

The beach was excellent. There was no litter, people regularly came round selling cold drinks which was a bonus once your own bottle of water became warm.

I would definately love to come back again and I probably will in the near future.

Beach was very narrow with 50% of it rocky. A couple of near by beaches a lot better. Water is gin clear, perfect for snorkling, fishing or just floating about in!!

The resort of San Antonio Bay is ideal for family and groups of friends looking for a lively holiday with plenty of entertainment.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants that are available to try out. These range from smaller clubs for friends to mini theme parks for families.
The resort has a nice clean beach that is constantly busy with plenty of people taking up the sunbeds and parrasols, so be prepared to head there early.
We found that none of us were ever bored in this reosrt as we were constantly entertained with something to do either by playing pool, ten pin bowling, or even nightly quizzes at many of the bars.
This resort is ideal for lively people looking for entertainment at night and relaxing days by the pool or vice versa.

ive been to ibiza loads of times and will continue to go, it has everything that you can possibly want, i recommend hiring a car though to get around because taxis are a fortune, although there is a bus service but who wants to sit on a bus in july temperatures!! a car gives freedon to the island. the beach is a touch poor but there are many beaches close by that are brilliant, the entertainment is widespread depending on what your after, from clubs like eden and es paradis to great pubs like cafe mambo, del mar and savannas. they are classy and very popular, with the sunset seekers.
ibiza is a great place for all ages and only a short flight, so with that in mind....a great choice.
