You get a different colour all inclusive wristband for each hotel. We actually stayed in the Galeon but spent all of our time in the San Miguel beach club because there was plenty going on and it's right next to the beach. On our first night, I was horrified to find out that because we stayed at the Galeon, our all inclusive finished at 11pm while the other 2 hotels went on until 12. So we were asked to pay for a small plastic cup of drink while everyone else around us were getting them free. Considering the place is one resort owned by the same company, I just couldn't work this out and neither could anyone else. The worst thing is that all drinks are served in a plastic cup similar to the type you wash your mouth out in a dentists !
During the day, the bar staff literally threw drinks at you. Giving you 2 or 3 when you only ask for 1 and refusing to serve you a soft drink and giving you beer instead for a laugh. But come 11pm the fun stops and you have to pay for it. Obviously we just stacked up on drinks just before 11pm for the rest of the 2weeks, but it was a pain because your drinks just got warm or knocked over or drunk by other people !
The actual hotels and grounds were in desperate need for a good makeover. Paint was falling off the walls and there were lots of broken tiles and slabs on the floor. The toilets absolutely stank for the whole time we were there, and considering that the worse ones were right next to the Western Saloon food bar, it didn't do much for my appetite.
The food was ok, but after 2 or 3 days you realise that your going to be getting the same all over again for the rest of your holiday. The lunches and late snacks were actually the best meals of the day.
Everyone raves about the entertainment and Zorro and his crew. They were right on this account, they were fantastic. Most evenings were brilliant but unfortunately finished at about 11.45. The staff then started cleaning up and actually taking your tables away to be stacked before you had finished your drinks. The bar shut about 12.15 and you had to go to the Galleon to get a late drink...untill 1pm ! Then it's like a ghost town.
If you get this holiday for a real bargain next year and you know what to expect, then you will have a great time. But if you pay full price and expect a fantastic clean holiday then you will be trying to book an early flight home.
This place really is Butlins in the sun, except Butlins is probably more cleaner and certainly don't smell as much !

Entertainment is great and as previously mentioned, Boogie Nights is not to be missed. It would be difficult to find a better animation team than Zorro, Stan, Ollie and Natasha. Shame Stan is not returning. Our two daughters both took a friend with them this year and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Plenty of choice of food and top marks to the maid who cleaned our apartment as she had 4 untidy teenage girls to clean up after. The rooms were always spotless when we returned from the pool.
We will go back to the resort again, but may try somewhere different next year rather than make it 5 years in a row (will probably wish we had returned though!!)
Highly recommended

Hotel staff, food etc were brilliant special mention for Zorro, Ollie, Stan and Natasha without the hard work they put in the holiday would just be ordinary they are the reason we keep coming back thanks guys.
Boogie night was fantastic we won the kiwis we'd come prepared this year and sported green hair.
We may be back next year discussions are under way.
Thanks to everyone at the hotel.

They were awful considering they were guaranteed 3 star. There was mould on the walls, the sheets smelt damp, there was a mosquito nest on our balcony roof, the night we arrived I found a spider in my bed!
The couple who were next door told us on the flight home that the hotel staff were painting over the mould in their rooms as they were leaving!
To top is all off my boyfriend had his watch stolen from our room and no one seemed to care. We spent our last day driving around in a taxi in Ibiza trying to find a policeman who we could report it to before our flight left.
The food was shocking! I ate salad and chips nearly every night as there didn't seem to be much in the way of veggie food.
I stongly recommend staying at the Hotel San Miguel and not The Beach Club. Our friends rooms were much better and they had fantasic views over the cove.
On a good note the entertainment and the people we met were fantastic. Zorro was fab - thank god for him! We were gutted the bar wasn't open later as everything closes early.
If you are under 30 you may go out of your mind here! Got a taxi to Space in Playa d'en Bossa on Sunday and took us 20 minutes, so you can escape! Not suitable for a young couple unless you have little ones.

We stayed in the hotel it was spotless.
The food was fantastic somthing for everyone.
Entertainment brilliant my sides ached laughing at Zorro he is the funniest person I have ever seen. All who work at the resort are fantastic everyone of them. Can't wait to go next year will get in shape for the dancing this time though.
If in any doubt about booking this resort don't be its got everything for everyone unless your an alian.

The hotel and all it's staff were excellent. Zorro & his team had us in stitches once again & we have all put on weight because the food is of an exceptional high standard. My children said that they would like to live there. If your children have a good time then you do too.
I will definately go back again, if not next year, then the year after. The best holiday at a good price.

I've seen other comments about the food saying not so good, however we found the food fantastic, many different choices on offer so sure to find something you all like, and it was always hot too! Granted, Western Saloon food was sometimes a bit overcooked but mostly was freshly done. Can't fault the hotel restaurant at all.
Evening entertainment was brilliant, the wonderful Zorro, Gorgeous Stan and Ollie putting on a fantastic show, kids also loved Nana the clown and the dancing.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to families wanting a cheap and cheerful family holiday that is safe for the kids.

The hotel is so clean.
The food - although not gourmet standard - is always fresh and hot, there is a wide selection, at least 3 choices plus salads, fruit etc - not a bit of stale bread in sight as has been mentioned before.

The hotel is a little dated, but is well maintained and cleaned regularly. The maids cleaned the room daily and left fresh towels.
The food was good, especially in the hotel restaurant, but not fantastic.
The location was ideal for us. The resort is secluded with just a few shops, bars & restuarants (try the Port Balansat if you like seafood). The beach was clean and never seemed too crowded. There a lots of fish in the bay, which you can feed. If you like a lively resort with lots of bars, discos, etc.. then this is not the place for you.
The nearest cashpoint is 5km away in San Miguel village, so be prepared.
We made good news of the canoes which are usually available most of the time. If you want to sail or windsurf, you may need to book in advance, but it was only half a day to wait.
The hotel staff were great, especially Jose and the rest of the guys in the Western saloon. Be careful of their measures though as they can blow you head off.
As for the entertainment it was fantastic. Early evening the clown kept our three year old before Zorro at al took over to keep the adults entertained. It was all good fun and they are mindful that there are still lots of kids running about so it does not get too rude.
