Location
Room cleaned every day with fresh towels every other day, staff very friendly. Room easily large enough for 3, air conditioning was a blessing as temperature was in high 20s all week.
Hotel food did lack variety but was of a good standard and there was always plenty of room.
Just a short walk from Port Alcudia beach, which is very shingly and a little smelly, but if you turn right from harbour and follow beach you will come to finer sand and here the sea is lovely, you can go out quite a way just paddling.
Entertainment was disappointing, only went once as strong men and parrots aren't our thing. Smugglers bar next door has better.

Location is excellent and air conditionning is really useful!! All Brits here in the hotel - mainly family orientated and late breakfasts and dinners are quite hectic!!
Food is o.k but worth going out for Tapas a few nights!
It is worth going to Smugglers bar next door for cheap (large) shots and then out to the resort before returning late to the hotel bar for the cheesy entertainments (Rod Stewart, parrot show, hypnotist, American line dancing / wild west show!! etc.
In summary, a good clean typical Brits abroad holiday type hotel - but don't rely on the reps for much help!!

there was always something to choose.
The pool I agree was small and in the shade till noon.
The Compere worked his socks off (can't mention his name) and the entertainment was excellent.
The only fault I

Everything we were informed & asked for we didn't get, for example we asked for a quite room with a view / sea view, instead we got a view into a back street alley over looking a noisy bar which went on to 3 in the morning, not good for the kids whom had to suffer with the foul language every night coming from below.
Food, I don't think those whom have commented that the hotels food is good could have ever gone to this hotel, & must have been talking about a different hotel, all paid for passing good comments. The food was the same for breakfast & dinner, apart from every other morning they had boiled sausages, which didn't taste much cop.
This hotel was meant to be half board, & therefore we only took so many euros. Thank god I took my cards as it cost me a fortune in meals during the day to satisfy the holes of hunger that we had already paid for, & should have got, instead of the same boring rubbish with no Varity. The head chef reminded us of the guy from hells kitchen, shouting at his staff for petty things.
The kids liked the pool, solely as it was there, but there was nothing to it, so they got bored easily & could only spend an hour or so before wanting to go to the beach. Which was always a relief as the outside was so small that you couldn't swing a cat.
Entertainment was rubbish, your better of going out for the evening. Luckily the kids made friends otherwise they would have been screaming at us all the time that they were bored.
If you want my advice, DON'T GO TO THE PISCUS.

There was a large selection at meal times and could not fault anything with the dining room. Our rooms were cleaned every day and towels changed every second day clean bedding twice a week.
The location was good it was only a short walk to the main shopping area and a short bus/taxi run to the local market. Chris the entertainer was fantastic, he catered for everyone from the small children to the adults later in the evening and the acts that are brought into the hotel were also good something different every night.
All round fantastic holiday. Thank you to all at the Piscis for a great holiday.

The hotel is spotless, the rooms being cleaned every day.
Food is okay lots of variety but sometimes you get bored of eating in the same dining room every day.
Staff were excellent, very friendly; the waitresses loved making a fuss of Milly.
The hotel is also in a great location, it doesn't seem much when you first arrive but take your first walk and once you walk 30 yards and turn the corner you're right in the middle of things. We recommend the bar called Caliu right at the end of the Alcudia Mar, great location it seems a bit posh but the lunchtime menu was very reasonable (cheap) and the drinks too. It is worth taking a walk to the old town about 15 mins especially on market day.
The only gripes we have with the place are the size of the pool area is a bit small, also the entertainment was a bit naff. The head entertainer was like something from a working men

The food at the hotel was very basic, however got nice salad every night and chips. Not much chioce for children and fish was always on the menu. Can't comment on the cooked breakfasts as never eat them. Dinner can be a bit chaotic as never know if the dining room staff are going to sit you or if just have to find your own seat. Warning though-drinks at dinner time can be expensive for what you get, 1.50euros for a pepsi although you can get a 2 litre bottle at the shop round the corner for just over 1euro.
The location of the hotel is good, not far from the beach. Went to Hydropark one day and took a taxi as the buses are very unpredictable, this cost just under 5euros. Can't comment on the entertainment as just went for walks at night time around the beach and the shops which are open late.
The majority of the reception staff are nice although two of them really need to learn how to smile.

The position of the hotel is great - 200m from the beach. We went mid-july and the beach wasn't busy AT ALL so it really is a good location. The hotel is towards the end of the beach and if you keep walking you can find another 8 miles or so of beach if you want.
Theres plenty to do on the beach too - pedlos, watersports etc.
The actual hotel was really nice too - rooms cleaned everyday (well most days! eg if you were sleeping they weren't) towels changed every other day. The rooms were quite small but nice enough!
We had 4 rooms and although they were all the same size, the bathroom sizes changed. I stayed in a room with a small bathroom and a big room but other people were the otherway around. All the rooms now have air-con too which is always good!
The meals were good too. The breakfast only seemed to offer sausages every other day (don't know what that was about!) but the selection for dinner was always good - about 4 different meats eg beef pork fish chicken. Then pasta salads, chips, salads etc. I can see why vegetarians would complain though. We ate out twice as we arrived late and one night wanted a chinese so can also recommend the chinese overlooking the beach.
The pool is not really that good. The problem is that is nearly always in shade! unless you get there really early you know that you'll be in the shade until 2pm or something becuase there are buildings all around the hotel!
And the actual pool is usually in shade, and when it isn't its cold! they need to heat it! but its still a nice place to sit by. A LOT of lilos in the pool though. We tended to stay at the beach.
Its only a 2 star but its better than a lot of 3 stars i've been to!
