Just returned home from Club Marthas it is in the Cala Egos resort but walking distance to Cala d'or.

Room was cleaned every other day and clean towels every other day.

Only stayed in hotel one night for entertaint but it was very good. Snack bar was very good and nice food.

Would definitely go back again.

We stayed here though no choice of our own, and stayed for 11 nights. Here is what we thought:

The hotel is mainly German , or Dutch occupied, partly English.

The rooms are spacious and clean, the pools are great for the kids, the entertainment for the kids was good, apart its in three languages.

The food is a no go area, very basic, have sprouts one day , they are in a salad the next day. Very busy at meal times, we did not enjoy the food at all.

The staff were friendly , some didnt speak English, the location of the hotel is close to Cala Egos, so good location, about 200 meters from the small beach.

We wouldnt go there again, even if paid.

We went self catering which on the whole, once we had sorted everything out was to say the least, basic!!, 2 rings on the cooker, just wide enough for two smallish pans. We did get a kettle and toaster and a microwave, which were not in the room when we arrived, as we went with Thomas Cook we were allowed to have these free of charge, but if you went with anyone else you had to pay for them!! Any ladies going please note that you do not get hairdryers, you can hire them at 9 euros a week though, we bought one for 7 euros an an iron is again 9 euros a week, we bought one of these too for 8 euros. You also have to pay for the remote for the tv (5 euros deposit) but you do get this back. Fridge is quite adequate as is the cooking and eating utensils, but they are basic

The apts are on the whole quite spacious and all seem to have a very large balcony, and they get the sun for most of the day which is great. As others have said, you get 2 sunbeds and a table and 4 chairs, although the cleaner must have forgotten that any of the apts had balconies as ours was only cleaned by us, and over the two weeks we were there, the floor was only mopped once, only because I asked her to do it as I was in the apartment at the time. Don't know why Thomas Cook class this as a 4* complex as the 4* places we have stayed in are far superior to these. The good points about the apartments are: decent sized balconies, good power shower, decent bedroom with loads or storage space, towels changed every couple of days, sun all day on your balcony, bad points: basic kitchenette, plug for the kettle next to the sink, sofa beds not suitable as beds, very thin mattress,

The hotel in general was quite clean, and they cleaned the pools every day and the paths around the pools too, which seeing the mess that people leave around the pools is not surprising, you would have thought though they would have cleaned up in the evening rather than the mornings. The entertainment for the kids was ok, and they announced what was going on around 10am, but it was only after we complained to the entertainments crew that they actually started to stick to the times that they advertised. If you enjoy going to Butlins/Pontins, this is the place for you, we don't!!!!!

All in all, it was a very cheap last minute deal, and it was relaxing, and thank god we hired a car from the airport for the 2 weeks, or we could have died from boredom, we have stayed in both Alcudia and Palma Nova and there is more going on there out of season that cala D'or has in season

We booked this as a last minute deal and it lived up to expectations. The room itself was large and spacious and the balcony was excellent capturing the sun for most of the day.

The air conditioning in the room isn't switched on until May time. Before then it just blows out hot air which is a shame because we needed cool air (22

This was our fourth visit to Club Martha's and we've already booked our fifth for this Septempber.

Its obviously a great place for families due to the amount of entertainment and facilities put on for the kids, but even if you're there as a couple then its not a distraction unless you're a bit of a grouch with kids about.

We've never eaten in the main restaurant as we prefer to go into the town for evening meals but have tried the snack bar and pizzaria a few times and found them good value and the pizza especially good.

I can't praise the staff highly enough, as we now book direct with Club Martha's rather than go through a tour operator we get the same room each time if we want and they even include all the extras for free that are usually charged by the day i.e. TV, Toaster etc.

We have just returned from Club Martha's and had a fantastic time.

This was our first holiday with our 18mth old son.We stayed in the Ses Cases Appts within the Club Marthas complex.

The appt was very clean with maid service 2/3 times a week. It also had air con both in the bedroom & living areas which was invaluable! The cooking facilities were more than adequate for our needs (who wants to be stuck in the kitchen all holiday??!!) We ate outside of the complex every day (just because we like to get out and about) but the food looked OK (especially the pizzas!)

The location of the complex is ideal as you are right in the centre of Cala Egos, close to the beach & only a short walk to the marina. Cala D'or centre can be reached either by taxi (about 5euros) or the tourist train which is a fun way to travel!

Ses Cases appts are in a separate block with its own pool which was much quieter than the main pool area - ideal with a small child.

Just a final word on the staff - they were always friendly & polite but a special mention must go to the entertainment staff who did a great job & put on some fab shows.

We are already looking forward to next years holiday as we will definitely be going back

We decided to go in early September when it was slightly quieter and children had gone back to school(No offence).

The complex has masses of facilites that it was a great place for families with all the facilites that they offer.

The hotel cant be faulted its clean has lots of activities especially if you have kids.

The apartments are of a good size. A disadvantage of being a couple in a studio is sleeping on a single sofa bed with a pull out camp bed may not be the best way to spend your time together.

The hotels food looked great but we only tried the pizza which was massive.

I you want to see and entertainment show then I would recommend Grease for a laugh.

P.S the wonder is a swimming pool in the rocks.

Apartment and balcony were spacious and clean. Maid 3 times per week. Balcony had 2 sunbeds, table and chairs. This is very much a family orientated hotel.

Wide choice of food for breakfast but evening meal choice was limited. Snack bar and pizza bar were good value.

There were 2 good swimming pools, the larger one being rather busy/noisy with regular water games for children. Molly Club was well organised as were the entertainment evenings which catered for children and adults.

Only downside, we travelled with infant and you have to hire the cot at 30 euros per week (toaster, kettle, TV remote control have to be hired too). If we were self catering, the kitchen facilities are fairly basic.

We stayed in Club Marthas and would advise any couples to stay well clear if they do-not want to here on the hour every hour what is going on within the complex.

Adults/ teenagers/ kids in three languages. Stage is in the middle of the complex- and you cannot avoid music / loud voices of entertainment? Staff letting you know whats on as if your deaf.

Garden area is good if you want to miss this/ will take every penny for hiring out basic electrical items you need if you can cook a meal on 2 rings this is the place for you/ even the remote for the t.v. you have to pay for.

Maid service is twice per fortnight/ poor maid she was the only 1 we spoke with in a fortnight/ she must look forward to the end of the season.

If you like noise please book early !!

We have just returned from Club Martha's and had an excellent family holiday. In our opinion this is very much suited to families although couples were there.

The complex is set in beautiful gardens. Our room was in the 'Calione' section and had sea views from the balcony and the pool/entertainment view from the front door which also has a balcony.

Rooms are clean, 1 bedroom twin beds, 2 sofa beds in lounge. Fridge, 2 burners, air con, sat TV (kettle, toaster, TV remote have to be rented if required).

There are 3 pool areas. Snack bar, pizza takeaway (all excellent) and buffet restaurant (didn't use). Full/Half Board/BB is available with offers if booked for 3 days.

There is daytime entertainment for kids/adults and evening entertainment every night(very good)provided by Martha's animation team and professional acts.

All staff were very helpful and friendly.
