The resort would suit all ages as it does not have a really noisy nigtlife but does have a good selection of bars to go to after the hotel bar closes, which is good for families with small children. The two small beach coves were always clean and really beautiful to walk along especially late on at night. If you do want a more hectic nightlife most resorts are only short and cheap taxi drive away.

The resort was very quiet dont go if you want to party all night. Went to Puerto Pollensa one night and it was such a relief to get back to the quiet.
It also felt very safe we didnt mind letting out teenage girls go to the shops (although these a very limited) on their own or for a walk.
The area is gorgeous some very nice expensive villas, how the other half live.
Well woth a visit.

The resort its self was only small but always tidy, if you fancy a change go to the market in Puerto Pollensa(excuse the spelling) from a bus just up the road for one euro each.

The big beach was quite pebbly so we used the small one, this is a nice quiet area and very good for snorkeling as me and my 9yr old daughter found out we would go back here again like a shot.

Lovely resort, very quiet and popular with the Spanish (no football shirts thank God).

Nice little restaurant called Pedro's near the beach (great grilled squid).

The beach is small but lovely and is cleaned every evening - highly recommended.

The beach mainly consisted of cigarette buts. They where supposed to have a flag system but the flags where very rarely changed

Didn't venture out of the hotel complex so can't comment on the rest of Cala San Vicente. The beaches next to the hotel were excellent. Clear, warm water full of tiny fish to keep the kids busy. You could swim safely out for miles in the sheltered cove with no strong tides. Or hire a pedalo for 10 euros and go even further out. The beaches were not too busy and the secenery was fantastic. The beach was cleaned every morning (We could see them from our room). There was a mixture of people on the beach - not all guests from the Don Pedro. Sunbeds and straw shades could be hired at 3.50 euros each.

The resort is mall with two to three coves, some shops and a few restaurants. It contains all services needed but better shopping in Alcudia where there is a big market.Good sea views but no lovely sandy areas to sunbathe except some small zones that were crowded. Good for a quiet holiday or for kids if using the main hotels and they have entertainment. Not too bad from the airport and taxis to main towns are abetter alternative to the buses.

The shop keepers within the resort kept the area immediately surrounding the shop in a good clean condition. When the entertainment at the Hotel doesn't meet your taste, there are other Bar's in the area that do have entertainment at times. There are a couple of beach area's were you could top the tan and laze about all day. I would visit the area again but would be staying at the Don Pedro for a 2nd episode of Faulty Towers.

There are beaches at either side of the Don Pedro but there is a better one called Cala Molins which is round the corner. The beaches are clean (with the exception of hundreds of cigarette tabs - yuk !!!). There are only a handful of bars but we were All Inclusive so we never went into them. It seems a very quiet resort but be warned it has a lot of steps and is quite steep so if you don't like hills, don't go !!
