Nice reasonably size resort, bus service to Porto cristo quite regular, local beach gets crowded but nice and sandy. To and from airport can be anything from 45 mins to 2 hours. A good compact shopping area and things like towels, shorts etc very cheap not worth taking them out buy them there. Beware although the shops are very compact, prices for some things vary big time.
You can catch a local bus to Porto cristo for 2.15 euro’s (single) and from there is a good bus route to loads of places. The bus to Cristo and back, calls at dracs caves so no need to use tour prices to get there.
Also there are boat trips to other places along the coast one is for 24 euro’s return takes you several places, worth the money but you are on the boat a long time and also take your swimsuit because it stops for you to have a short swim.

Calas de Mallorca is a tired, quite unclean resort and it's small. Given the size there are too many shops vying to sell the same kind of 'junk'; the remnants of those that have failed are all too visible with shops lying empty everywhere.
The entertainment varies between karaoke bars and 'acts' that are a bit better than the holiday crooners themselves.
The beach at Cala Domingos is probably the resorts redeeming feature and, while you can buy drinks and ice creams at the beach side 'shop' you don't get fleeced. It wouldn't do the local council or whoever is responsible any harm to have the sand tilled of an evening as they do in other resorts. As with a lot of resort beaches the biggest drawback is the extortionate price you pay for a sunbed and brolly; with a group like ours you could pay £30 a day!

The resort was small and not much to do in the evenings. The beaches were lovely.

Nice feel to the little town. Second time we have been. Lots of nice little 'touristy' shops and bars.

The Cala Domingos beach is the main area of the resort with not much else there, other than a small collection of 'souvenir' shops selling the same stuff with vastly differing prices.

The resort of Callas De Mallorca is one of the more relaxing and quiet resorts on the island of Mallorca. I felt it was more family entoriated and not for gangs of lads or girls who are looking to go partying till the early hours.
Although there are 2 nice clean beach at this resort we found them to constantly be busy as they are only small.
There are a wide variety of pubs and restaurants avaialable within the resort but we found there to be no clubs or discos.
But there was a cocktail bar that also had a crazy golf attatched to it with a large big screen playing all of the music channels that people could sit out side and watch.
Me and my fiancee spent most of our time at this pub as we found the staff extremely helpful and it had everything we needed, pool table, air hockey, crazy golf and alcohol.
We also found that the majority of pubs did not get relatively busy as i think that most of the hotels in this resort are all inclusive so people tended to stay at the hotel for the entertainment.
But for a nice relaxing resort with all the essentials i would certainly recommend Callas De Mallorca.

Resort was OK, although the commercial centre had more than it's fair share of tat shops. Only one tobacco shop as well, which was odd.
Numerous bars, all of which seemed to be doing pretty well and the number of people venturing out from their all-inclusives made me think that not everyone wants to be cooped in the hotel all the time.
Overall, Calas was fine for my first visit.
