The resort is very simple with a couple of lively bars however no popular clubs were in reach (maybe the party season hadn't quite started?. The beach is lovely but there is a price on 10.50 euros for two beds and a brolly! It is still worth paying as the beach is immaculate and quite spacious. All in all this is a brilliant holiday for a familt or couple just looking to relax i would not recommend it to a group of lads/girls looking for late nights!

stayed 2 weeks all-inclusive,hotel very clean best location in the resort, staff always friendly and hotel always clean. we stayed in the annexe beside main hotel very quiet as only families stay in this block,view fantastic looking straight out onto the med ,go to sleep with sound of the sea on the rocks. food was good and always a choice of about 4 or 5 main meals and a small kids selection,breakfast either bacon eggs toast or cereal
with fresh food always being brought in.entertainment was not the best we have had but as we went out and about most days this was not too much of a problem,sunbeds were a problem if you wanted one you had to get down to the pool at 8am at the latest to grab one to stick your towels on,lots of beds reserinved for hours with no-one on them.
all in all a very enjoyable holiday at a very nice hotel at the best location in the resort,would have no qualms about going back to this hotel again

Resort is very small just a few shops and bars in the main square. There are three small beaches all very clean and the water is nice and shallow. A week is long enough in this resort as there is not much to do but i came to relax so it was perfect. I would visit this resort again in the future for recoup.

The resorts pavements are in an abysmal state with uneven stones and holes with lots of litter in public areas.
I noticed proprietors of shops brushing and washing shop fronts but simply brushing rubbish on to somebody elses property.
Also lots of empty and derelict looking shops.
Beach was kept clean but surrounding public areas were littered local authority dont clean.
Entertainment was both poor and unsuitable.

Small resort but sufficient shops. Only one tobacconists.

This resort is dominated by A/I hotels which has had an adverse effect on some of the bars and restaurants. The shops and bars are located in a square area in the middle of the resort and contain all you need and are not over priced.
There is a lot of new apartments and villas being built on the outskirts of the town and these should rejuvenate life back into the bars and restaurants again.
A good bus service to other towns is available and is well time tabled around the resort. A great resort for a weeks stay.

Cales de Mallorca has about 40 shops, 20 bars and 20 restaurants.
Its fairly compact man-made centre, but ample choices.
Couple of small sandy beaches.
Clean resort and not rowdy, but lively enough.

resort is quiet and most hotels AI
didnt partake in any entertainment out of hotel, but did see that all bars have live music/kareoke and sports on every day/nite.
saw beach behind hotel america, small v clean and lovely water with beach bar
ideal place to relax but not for a base

We had never been to Majorca before and we made a mistake staying in this resort its nowhere and we feel we didn't see the real Majorca.

Resort is nice - not too rowdy - has a nice square which is a 5 - 10 minute walk away. Lots of shops, bars, restaurants, mini-golf, pharmacy and medical centre.
There's a nice little beach in a cove at the other end of the resort to Hotel Chihuahua with plenty of sunbeds.
Pirates Show in Palma Nova is an excellent night out, if a little expensive. You are a bit bombarded with swords, bandanas, photos etc., to buy. However, the show is great with lots of audience participation and the kids loved it.
If you're looking for a wild holiday then this resort isn't probably for you! More for families with kids of all ages.
