Location
Our rooms overlooked the Son Matias beach and had a lovely sea view. The balcony door catch was broken, which we reported and was fixed quickly.
Also the light at the end othe corridor outside our room was faulty. This wasn't fixed during the two weeks we stayed there.
The pool was good and there was plenty of sun loungers.
There wasn't much entertainment on,just the radio in the day in the pool area.
We were staying half board but didn't try it as we prefer eating out.
All in all the Tobago is a cheap and cheerful base in a nice location, close to Palma Nova and Magaluf.
Only downside to the holiday and no fault of the hotel, was the collapse of the main drains on the road outside the hotel. 5 days of Diggers, sewage trucks, Jcbs and compressors 24/7.

The food was terrible, the sheets were changed after a week, only after we complained. We were there for 2 weeks and the linen problem was the same both weeks.
The towels were like rags and very grubby.
Most of the evening entertainment was cancelled because of the football, not everbody wants to watch football.
We will not be going back again.

The room was tidy but not very clean, the bathroom sink looked like a map of great britain it had that many cracks in it, and the bathroom door looked as if it had been stripped of all its paint, still at least we had a good shower.
There was also a not so good smell coming from the toilet. The balcony door did not shut properly and only had a hook for a lock.
The food was awful (we ate out). I think this hotel needs to close for a winter season and do a good refurbishment like lots in Palma Nova do.
The only good thing about this hotel is that you only have to cross the road to get to a fabulous beach.

Food was disgusting. Same things every night, and greasy cheap cuts of meat. The hotel was full of spanish pensioners, who shall we say could be very rude and noisy on occasions!
The hotel staff left a lot to be desired and would all benefit from courses in inter personal skills.
One of our party of 4 women slipped getting out of the shower ( no mats) and cut her face badly, we rang down 4 times to reception for a doctor to come, and if we,d not physically taken our friend to the medical centre ourselves i think we,d still be waiting !! She ended up with 7 sutures in her nose, and when she tried to get the hotels insurance details she was rebuffed
every time she asked.
The only good thing about this hotel is the view from the balcony, stunning views of the beach and magaluf bay.
I wouldnt visit this hotel again and i,d advise anyone thinking of doing so to forget it, there are plenty other nice hotels in Palma Nova and Magaluf.
Will be visiting Magaluf again next March but staying somewhere different next time.

We travel a great deal around the med every year, but can say without doubt that this hotel has the worst food we have had in the past year. Breakfast consisted of cold beans, cold bacon left lying in a tray of oil, cold fried eggs [how anyone can turn an egg into a lump of rubber is beyond me]. One day we even had what looked like the cold buffet meat from the night before fried {cold ; but fried}. By the end of the week they brought in a pair of microwaves so you could warm up your food.
The place is full of Spanish old folk from the mainland even they had complaints about the food. One day we had green been and there was what looked like a pubic hair in them, anyway it was short, thick, black and curly when we told the waiter he shrugged his shoulders as if he did not care and just walked away. Plus when you come out from eating your clothes smelt like you have spent the night in a wet fish shop...
The cleaners were great they came in every day and the place was fairly spick & span...
The internet service is paid for by the half hour I could not access my email account as it was not set up to access AOL for some strange reason.
TV in the room has to be paid for but they don't tell you it's either the world news or world sport. The movie channel was rubbish the rest was in Spanish. I was ok with that but my wife can not understand Spanish so it was a waste of money....
Night entertainment was a bloke playing records nothing said he just played records all night..
Rooms were drafty as they don't have double glazing. The windows to the balcony rattle in the wind and wind belts in down the gaps between the doors...
All in all we would ever go back to this place a full report has been sent to the owners of this hotel. Do yourself a favour - don't go.

The reception area is well decorated and includes several Thai statues - worth a look at in themselves.
The restaurant is situated in the basement, and has a sign declaring that the hotel has been awarded an award for good food hygiene practices, however we were concerned about the temperature and quality of the food served at both breakfast and dinner.
The reception staff were extremely helpful, assisting with parking charges (3euro per night) and loaning us a remote control to operate the car park gate ( for a 30 euro ) deposit
We did not use the hotel pool due to low temperature and did not use entertainment. Hotel was being used by Senior Mundo for subsidised holidays for Spanish senior citizens.

The rooms were basic but very habitable. The location was brilliant, most rooms overlooking the sea, the beach just a stonesthrow away. The hotel staff were very friendly, curtieous and helpful.
The only let down was the food,it was a bit mundane and very repetetive,we ate out often.
Wouldnt visit this hotel again, purely because of the boring meals,we stayed at the Hawaii last year (just over the road) where the food was much better, probably go there again next year.
