Hi there! Home after an excellent holiday! It was a great hotel with very friendly staff. I travelled with my mom, and we were there for 1 week. This hotel is an amazing place to meet other young people. The entertainment was excellent. Paul(Elvis)!!! (= and Sara did a great job to entertain all of us - at day and in the evening! Thanks to you guys..

The area outside was very clean. But inside - the rooms - we got a little disapointed.

We were self catering, and the first morning we ate at the hotel. And! (Oh my God, I don't believe it!) (= It was a great buffet.

There were 4 pools. There was a great and clean! pool, a children pool, a very cold! pool (= and the last pool, was just round! (= There were a pool for every size! For the children there were a playground and a Kids Club. For the youngs and adults, there were tabletennis and tennis.
Through the day, there was music and games, and in the evening there were different activities for example, karaoke, bingo, spanish dance, and BABY DISCO!! But hey. It was not only the children who danced, it was also adults and teenagers! (=

The location was okay.. It was near centre, BUT there was a steep hill.. It could be quite hard.. (=

Last but not at least, I will say thank you to Paul and Sara for teaching me and the other danish girls, how to dance MIMICMAN!!!! I bouhgt the tape, but it is not the same text, so hey.. Go get it! (=

See you next year!

We (8 of us) stayed there in June 04. The location to the nightlife is great. Just a 2 minute walk down the hill (5 mins up) Great access to the beach too. The pool is always lively, but never over crowded. There is a bar for snacks and drinks that are not too expensive. As a group of young men we were all running round rooms at night, so families should choose wisely if they want to stay there in high summer. The hotel staff are friendly.

The entertainment is poor... Paul (Elvis) is shocking! although some people enjoyed it. The pool games are ok and there are a few activities available too (Footy, Air Rifle, T/tennis)

The maids can be a lazy lot. It's just pot luck if you get a good one....

Overall it was a good place to stay.

Stayed in room 214. This is one of only six larger rooms on the complex and the sea view was wonderful. The hotel had only opened officialy one week before we arrived so they where doing maintenance jobs all over the hotel. Lifts weren't working at all and we had no electrical appliances in the room. Second week was better. The lifts where working and the entertainment was very good both during the night and day. Christian was the best entertainer! Say hi from angela and garry if you see him...! He was great fun. The walk to Magaluf and Palma Nova was tough on your legs. The hill is more of a steep mountain which can be very slippy when raining, and walking back up is very good exercise but also very tiring. Overall th holiday was good and pirates is a must see. We though Marineland was very small but entertaining, and didn't do any other trips than those mentioned. Oh yeah on the last day we received out kettle and toaster (just a little too late) but there you go...

Don't be fooled by the name, this hotel is nearer to the very lively Magaluf than Palma Nova.
Hotel staff and entertainment were very good. We booked this holiday as self catering, but upgraded to half board. The public areas were very clean, but we were disappointed with the standard of cleanliness in our apartment. Be warned if you are taking children this hotel can be very noisy throughout the night, with people returning at all hours. This hotel is advertised in the brochure as being ideal for families, it is also advertised on the agents website, as being ideal for adults looking for a lively holiday!! We have only praise for Sara and Joe the Barcelo children's entertainers who kept our kids entertained whilst we caught up with our sleep!

When we first arrived at the hotel, we were shocked at the steepness of the hill, (although the brochure did say there was one).

First impressions going through the doors to the reception were great. Clean and spacious. The reception staff were great.

I thought the apartment was a bit on the small side, if we were at full capacity it would be quite cramped. The view from our balcony was a real let down. (Facing a brick wall).

The pools were ok but were really crowded.

Our son enjoyed all the entertainment, day and night, but we preferred to go out.

The brochure said this was a family hotel except for high season. but we were woken up several times during our week stay by people coming in 3,4,5 in the morning and we were there in early June.

Returned from these apartments on 28th Sept 02, excellent.
8 people travelled, 4 adults, 4 kids, all for 14 nights. Daily entertainment was brilliant for all so clappy clappy to animation staff (Maria, Virginia and Sergio). Spar just underneath aparts and Florida II, excellent food and service. The nightly entertainment pretty good too. A few groups of youngsters but no trouble at all . A few restless nights but not for long. Pool area cleaned every morning and no trouble for sun beds. All in all an excellent time had by all. Going back again next year. Pirates is a must, Son Amar alright but a bit squashed. Everything you could possibly need or want to do is within walking distance.

AUGUST 2002. the hotel is clean and offers good daytime and reasonable night time entertainment. dont expect the atmosphere to be too friendly as most people tend to keep themselves to themselves. the hotel is on the top of a very steep bank, and in the middle of all the nightclubs. on the way back to your hotel you get pestered by prs asking you to go to their bar. great for 18-30s but i think places like alcudia or sa coma are better for families. a good hotel if you arent expecting luxury. a good base for all the action of torrenova and magalluf

July 2002. An excellent hotel in a prime position. Rooms are spacious and are well equipped with kitchen appliances, air conditioning, tv and balcony. The pool is big with plenty of sun lounges along with pool side bar. Loads of games and activities put on throughout the day. Magaluff nightlife is a 2 minute walk down the road, however the hotel is not on the main strip so you don't get all the noise etc. Was an excellent stay and would definately go back again.

If you want a very clean aparthotel whats noisy during the early hours then this is it . We had to buy earplugs to try to sleep during 3 till 6 , the hotel is clean the staff superb but If you are looking for hotel service in the food department then this is dissapointing .It will b the first and last time we go in an aparthotel because there is a limited choice of food as there was not many guests eating in as most were self catering , the entertainment was poor after the kids bit and they played the same tape each night

The pool is poor with a deep part of around 6ft for a 2 mtre narrow part good sun beds

The Brochure warned about Groups of young people using the hotel, unfortunately some were near us & were very noisy returning between 5 & 6am almost every morning, apart from this it was a great holidy our son (10) loved every minute, the Hotel has a very strange layout beware if you like to request a high or low floor the Reception is on the fifth level, entertainment on the fourth & the tennis courts & kids clubs on the third, some rooms the balconies looked onto the wall which is the side of the swimming pool area others faced a wall which was below street level & others looked onto trees with little or no sun.

The only thing that would put us of going back is the noise during the night the security man never seemed to be around at this time & several other guests shouted at the young ones the odd one threatened them after which they shut up but the problem was you were already awake.
We thought the entertainment apart from the professional shows was a bit naff but our son loved the entertainment all the kids did they were all at the front of the stage.
If you are going here don't put up with the noise dial 9 for reception & they will deal with it we never did this until near the end of the holiday, a few people were warned & did make less noise.
