Floors on level 6 or above are the better views but all rooms are sea view anyway

Make sure you stay in Sol Mirlos NOT Sol TORDOS. There’s two hotels and this is the most modem and has better larger rooms. Tell reception when you arrive.

Both Palma Nova and Magaluf beaches very clean many places to eat.The main difference was at night Magaluf clearly caters for the young clubbers many stag and hen parties all very entertaining to watch.
Palma Nova seemed less busy more quiet but I am sure the are places. Palma Nova restaurants slightly more expensive but not much.
The north end of Magaluf seemed dated needs a facelift.

Palma Nova is like Blackpool with sun. The beach is well maintained and appears to be raked and cleaned every day. For a resort of this type the streets and pavements were well maintained and surprisingly clean. Unfortunately the resort is frequented by the sort of groups of people that you would go out of your way to avoid. Loud noisy crowds of both men and women and not Club 18-30 many of them in their 40's - the sort of behaviour that, sadly, Europeans have come to expect of the British.

been to alcudia was excellent and im sorry if you are going to magaluf because it isnt a patch on other parts of majorca.

Magaluf, palma nova and torrenova all excellently clean. full of good entertainment for all the family (until after dark then more for the young singletons going clubbing!)with crazy golf corses, 2 water parks, pirates show with day and night shows, which are deffinately worth going to see!!
Nice clean beaches with water sports (more on the magaluf beach side); nice restaurants and snack bars there is some thing for everyones taste; unless your after a relaxing holiday in which case you've obviously booked the wrong resort!!

Palma Nova is a clean lively resort but not too lively. Mixed age groups and families. Plenty of places to eat and bars with live music. Play frames etc and things for the kids to do on the beach. Crazy Golf nearby was good. Beach and pavements clean and not too crowded. Would definatley go back but decided to have a change and try Alcudia this year !

The resort was very family friendly, clean and lots of places to eat and drink. Something for everyone. Beaches are safe and clean.

Night-life is fantastic!
Yeah you get people trying to get you in to bars,just chat with them and tell them you might and they'll leave you alone!shopping is great,all shops basically sell same but if you dont mind walking,try the diffrent shops for diffrent prices!
I paid 5 euors for a jewel butterfly hair clip and my sister got one,exactly the same,for 8 euors,not much difference but adds up!
Booze is cheap in the resort too. My dad got a litre of Jack Daniels for 17.50 euros.
Didn't really go on beach that much, prefer the pool. Resort very tidy I found!
Would definately vist again.

The resort is clean and was fairly quiet when we visited but having said that it was out of season and things were just starting up.
There are plenty of bars, restaurants, fast food outlets and clubs.
The beach is clean and tidy and has fantastic views of the bay and neigbouring islands but when windy can be a danger zone due to sand being blown at you which feels like shards of glass hitting you at a high speed. Magaluf beach is much calmer and warmer.
We would definately visit this resort again but not sure I would want to go in the height of the season due to Magaluf being just round the corner. You literally walk into magaluf without even noticing and then are constantly hassled by PR people trying to get you into bars
