Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

Puerto Pollensa is a very clean, friendly resort with lots of restaurants. Good beach. Good links to alcudia, palma with buses stopping on main rad. There is a variety of shops too.
Puerto Pollensa is a lovely place if you want a relaxed family or couples holiday, no lager louts in sight! The beach was really clean, my little boy loved it.
There was a good selection of restaurants and bars. We also found an amazing Kebab Shop only a 3-4min walk from the hotel. Just turn left out of the hotel then your first right and walk straight until you get to the square which hasd all the restaurants and its just across the square. Great to go for a late night kebab after the entertainment had finished at the hotel.
