Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

The resort was very quiet when we were there (1st week in March) but the island was experiencing its worst winter since 1981. This was unusual as we have been before in March and had temperatures in the high 60's.
There are lots of nice walks in the area and good bus links to Pollensa town and Alcudia town both of which are worth a visit.

The Puerto Pollensa area suited us very well, it is a very pretty resort with a marina and Pine Walk sea front, and mountains surrounding the area, very picturesque.
Entertainment was fairly quiet but this may have reflected the time of year for traveling in October. The beaches were quite clean and nicely kept and the resort did seem to be fairly litter free.

The resort itself was very clean although the beach could have done with someone checking for left rubbish. Things such as plastic bags and occasional cans were evident on a daily basis.
There were plenty of quiet little bars to enjoy a drink after an evening stroll along the pine walk.

The resorts entertainment wasn't too bad but we only ventured out to the bar across the road from Pollensa Park which had quite a good singer 1 night and there's a nice english bar down from that.
The beach looked lovely white sands and clean.
I would consider visiting this resort again but not stop at the same hotel.

Excellent selection of bars and restaurants, beach area pleasant and well maintained. If you have a hire car parking can be a bit difficult but you will always find a place.

Eating out - We ate out on 2 occasions at the Dakota restaurant (PPs version of TGIs) & the Tango restaurant. Both were in the main square & catered well for the kids.
Supermarkets – We used 3 supermarkets in all. The beachfront Vora Mar, the Spar (both 200m away) & the large Caprabo which was a 5€ taxi ride away. The Caprabo was the cheapest & had the biggest choice (2L Pepsi @ 0.99c) but was a 10€ round trip. The other 2 were much the same & usually open until 11pm.
Excursions - As our kids are young, we only did 2 small excursions.
The 1st was a trip to the Old Pollensa Sunday Market. We made the mistake of taking the overly popular public bus @ 1€ each & had a free game of sardines thrown in. The market itself was split into 2 sections. The main square sold fruit & veg. The narrow lanes leading up to the 2nd square sold mainly gifts ranging from handbags to wooden toys to jewellery, etc. Most of the main shops were open too. The return taxi cost 13€ .
Our other trip was a boat ride from the Marina to Formentor beach & back for 7.50€ & 3.75€. You can stay on the beach for the day as the service runs hourly but we just did the ride.
Summary - Puerto Pollensa & the Puerto Azul hotel are ideal for young families. I saw not one group of drunken lads or British pubs offering football on TV. The one thing that speaks for the resort was a beautiful sand sculpture of a castle on the beach. This work lasted completely untouched throughout our entire stay. Perhaps it says a lot for the people who stayed & lived in Puerto Pollensa.

I would say this is the cleanest resort we have enjoyed on holiday in Majorca. Shops were first class, they had to be with the competition around them.
Our evenings were spent with friends enjoying an evening meal, at our age we did not avail ourselves of any entertainment, nor did we hear or see anything of this nature come to think of it. The beaches were adequate, and there is no question or doubt we will holiday here again.
Big plus...not for the 18-30s'. Pleasant and tranquil.

Loved the port of pollensa, been there many times before.
Smaller than Alcudia and much more family friendly.
Beaches are wonderful and the sea clear, shoals of fish swim around you.
