Try to avoid repeatedly paying by card, pay just one bank charge by paying with cash. There is a cash machine outside The White Rose bar just two minutes walk from the hotel.

Rooms overlooking the pool are noisy til ~ 11pm .I suspect that mountain view rooms would be quieter. The lifts don't serve every floor.

The resorts location to the beach is excellent with it being only a few minutes walk away from a beautiful sandy beach. We enjoyed our holiday but would warn people that unless you like very very hot weather do not go in July. It was 40 degrees and over everyday which was just too hot for us.

Puerto Pollensa is an excellent location in the North of Majorca with a very good sandy beach, far away from the "here we go crowd", chavs and lager louts. Great for couples and young families.Lots of very good restaurants and superb walks along the front. Our second time in Pollensa, stayed for 2 weeks and would not hesitate to go back in the future. Would, however choose different accomodation.

Very enjoyable evening stroll down to the harbour and pine walk where there are many Cafe bars and restaurants, good selection of shops and a market in the square on Wednesdays. Found a great Spanish bar in the square (very cheap)next to the school, enjoyed sitting outside watching the children play football with the local children.
The beach is beautiful and very clean, would recommend snorkeling by the rocks, the fish come right up to your face.

I have been abroad to several tourist resorts although Puerto Pollensa has to be the best. The beaches are fantastic, the restaurants are excellent and the people are very friendly here too.
If you like lots of English bars don’t come here as you will not find many of them, it has kept a Spanish tradition and doesn’t like much change.) I would say anyone with a family would love Puerto pollensa, I will most definitely be returning here as I can't imagine finding a better resort.
Their are some expensive restaurants and some very reasonable ones too, the ones on the sea front seemed a little more expensive than others although that’s the same in other resorts. Most of the supermarkets have bakeries which are great for a snack especially the one near the corbi Mari restaurant.
Most places close at 12.00am although the cultural bar in the square (Spanish bar) stays open late along with a few others in the square. Their is also a kebab shop which is open till 2.00am in the main square just near bonys bar (the kebabs are gorgeous) and it’s always very busy.
We used to go to a bar called Shoe Strings after the entertainment at the hotel had finished it has very friendly staff and entertainment was on most nights i.e. karaoke, etc.
There is also a place called Fantasy World which is great for the kids especially when the weather is too hot as it’s fully air conditioned inside.
We bought a loaf of bread in stood in the sea feeding the fish, it was amazing and the kids loved it. P.P has the best scenery and is very popular with families of all ages.

The cleaniness throughout the resort could not be faulted. In the evenings there is a really good selection of eateries for everyone to choose, right on the seafront, in the main square and neighbouring streets.
When dark approaches, the promenade by the sea is lit up and it's lovely for a walk back, with various entertainers to stop and watch for a few minutes. The beach is lovely and sandy, ideal for sunbathing and perfect for families.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this resort to families and couples of all ages, but not for a young group looking for nightclubs.

Resort was lovely and flat. We were about a minute away from the beach, we visited about 5 cafe's for lunch and they were all excellent. The large promenade is ideal for children.
Beach was nice and long but only about 50 metres from the promenade to the sea and was spotlessly clean as was the whole of Port De Pollenca.
We would definitely recommend it for families with younger children. We loved it...

What a beautiful place! We loved Puerta Pollensa and will most definitely go back. The Pine Walk from the north end of the resort where we were staying to the centre of the town was delightful. The uneven walking surface made the pushing of a buggy very sore on the arms but all in all a lovely stroll.
The town sqaure had many beautiful cafes and restaurants and we particularly recommend IRU restaurant down from the square on the beach front.
Although we didn't look for it I don't think there is much in the way of resort entertainment as such - I think entertainment is mainly hotel based. The beaches were lovely with padded sunbeds available for 5E a day.
An elegant resort - a definite must!

Puerto Pollensa is a very quiet place in which to stay. The walk along the fornt is lovely. The beach has not been made ready for the season but is still very clean even though it must have faced a few storms throughout the winter.

Peurto Pollensa is great for A get away from it all break. superb scenery, great bars, clean, no yobs, few germans, visit bar 1912 on the Island, if you want to take it easy this is the place, even better out of season, do the pine walk, get on the bus one euro does most of the local trips. Visit the old town on market day. Avoid Inca the market was OK but the town is very rundown and shabby
